Food and service is excellent. The price is reasonable very good size portions. The owner always checks to see if everything was correct.

The are known for their savory quiche and crepes as well as their delicious ice cream filled dessert crepes, ordering the Spinach Bisque is a MUST! While a cup may be fine for some, I always insist on a bowl of the creamy, buttery bisque. Recently for lunch, I chose their Wagyu Meatloaf Sandwich, paired with spicy ketchup, provolone and crispy onion strings on a grilled artisan white bun. The side of Mayo aoli is a great topping too! Sitting inside and watching the chefs prepare the crepes is a delight, but a beautiful afternoon calls for a relaxing meal on their ivy lined patio! It is so cute and gives such great small town peaceful vibes. Highly recommend; but you may need to call ahead for reservations.

Today we stopped for lunch and Andrea took great care of us!! We were offered a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside and enjoy the display of antique decorations ( old phonograph, television, antique furniture, etc). We had a crepe and soup combo and a soup and sandwich combo. The spinach bisque is always on the menu and the soup of the day was tomato cognac. Everything was delicious as usual. This place has been in business since 1978 for a reason! The quality of food and service can't be beat!

One word: N A S T Y. Do NOT eat here. It looked promising…read moreat first when it was just down the street from the laundromat where we were finishing laundry. It looked promising when we walked in and the decor was so cute with license plates and stoplights. It looked promising when the wait staff were very nice and delivered an extensive menu. That's where promising ended. I ordered mozzarella sticks with marinara, a dinner salad and a side of cottage cheese. Pretty simple, right? The waitress asked what I wanted on the salad??? I said hard boiled egg, tomatoes, cucumber, whatever vegetables they had. She sort of shook her head as if she did not know what veggies they had. I ordered a side of blue cheese dressing. Mother in law ordered a grilled chicken salad. Mozzarella sticks took 25 minutes? I actually had to leave to get our laundry caus we were waiting so long. Came back to lukewarm NASTY mozzarella sticks that we did not finish. The marinara was underwhelming and warmer than the cheese sticks. Gross. Then we wait another 10-15 minutes wondering where the heck our simple salads are. The staff would not make eye contact. We kept looking for someone who would check our order and gave up. Finally after 45 min of waiting we get our "salads" YUCK. Mine we the tiniest bowl of white / pale green iceberg lettuce. A piece of white onion. A small plastic container of dressing sat on top of the sad lettuce. THAT WAS IT. Where are the vegetables I asked for? I look at the salad my MIL got and THERE was my hard boiled egg. There were the chopped vegetables. Luckily she offered to share her egg and vegetables with me. My salad was NASTY. She did not like hers, it was covered in melted cheese. Only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because the waitresses were very nice. It wasn't their fault the kitchen staff can't make salad.

I'd like to preface this review by saying last time I was here it was very, very good. This time…read morehowever, it was not. Last night I took my college-aged kids and wife here for my birthday. It was the 4th time I've been and was by far the worst experience. We started w oysters and they were great--both kinds. My kids and I ordered iced teas and got glasses full of ice w a little bit of really watery iced tea. Next were the fries--pretty good but the "aioli" was just mayo w a dash of lemon -- diff than last time. The carrots were also pretty good, but the flavors didn't all come together. We asked for a refill on iced tea and were told "the bar just 86'd iced tea for the night". ??The restaurant seemed discombobulated. The lamb ribs were cooked really well but didn't have much flavor. Our waiter never came by 1x to ask about or food, and when clearing plates never wiped up spilled food from the table. Had high hopes for the main entrees (lemon pasta and halibut w beurre blanc). All of our entrees came to the table lukewarm. The lemon pasta was oily and a little clumpy and didn't taste great. The halibut was overcooked and the beurre blanc had little to no taste. Super disappointing. If this was the first time I had been there I wouldn't go back.
