Ordered takeout and upon arriving home was disappointed to see my Green Godess Chicken Salad was lacking chicken . After finally getting a manager on the phone (pro tip- don't call between 4 and 7 expecting someone to answer because they won't and message even suggests you call back later) she was very polite and mailed me a coupon for a feee meal and drink ! **** Am I the only one who finds it tacky AF that Panera requires you to pay with a credit card on a phone in pick up order? I can call in a pick up to McDonalds and pay when I arrive for cryin out loud. If Panera doesn't trust its customers to show up and pay for their free range organic clean food then they are marketing to the wrong demographic. read more

This Panera is in a good location with plenty of competition. Service and quality are typical at this location. There are a few things that I'm not a fan of, however. First off, the garbage spots are few and in random places. I've seen plenty of people look around, not able to find them where they expected. Also, there are very few booths. Whenever I come, especially during busy hours, the 3 full booths are always taken. There are also two smaller ones and tables that have a booth on one side but I wish they had more full booths. They also only have two "comfy" chairs but I wouldn't consider them comfy. Maybe they don't want people like me hanging out longer than needed! Ha On the plus side, they have outdoor seating which is nice if you're a people watcher. They also have computers for public use as well as the technology of a keyboard in the table (see picture). There is also a room in the back that you can reserve which could come in handy when meeting a large group of people. Overall, not a bad Panera. read more

Giving this location three stars because my food was ready for pickup on time and half of my order was as expected. However, the You Pick Two of broccoli and cheddar soup and the Mediterranean bowl with chicken that I paid more than $15 for was not. The soup cup was only half-full, and the bowl was missing the olives. In addition to that, the chicken was chopped into such small pieces that I thought at first it had been forgotten too. Last night I stopped at a Panera to have a fast dinner with a friend. We were waiting on quickly and the line was about 4 deep. The food came to our table in about 10 minutes. We both ordered one of the broth bowls which were delicious. There was just enough chicken in the bowl. My biggest disappointment was the salt content. I thought I was eating healthy, but that one bowl of broth contained my full days quantity of salt!!! I wish Panera would do something about the salt content. Otherwise the visit was great, the restaurant clean and the staff helpful!!!! read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Terrible experience! I Was just there and they decided to close the lobby for no apparent reason. Walked up and all the doors were locked and the dinning hall was filled with people eating. Finally One of the customers who was already in the store let me in. Once I walked up to the counter... some high schooler told me that The restaurant was not busy enough to have the lobby open. Let me tell you there was 30ish people eating and while I was there 15+ people tried to enter the lobby!Workers we're being super lazy! I love Panera food. I think its really yummy. But i cannot tell you how many times they have messed up my order. I finally got so annoyed by this that I complained and i got 10 dollars off. Which is really nice. 2 weeks later they again messed up my order. It's usually forgetting chicken on my meal that has chicken included. Once they gave me the wrong cookie. Another time they gave me an entirely different salad that I ordered. So i'm not sure what's going on with these guys at this location but make sure you check your stuff before you leave! read more

This location is just terrible. We live nearby so we sometimes pick up lunch or dinner from here purely out of convenience. Orders seem to take longer than other locations despite having a lot of staff and they very rarely get our orders correct. 3 examples (separate visits)- order missing one of our soups, sandwich missing the added ingredients I customized online and Turkey sandwich MISSING THE TURKEY. I've learned to check our order before driving away. Their only saving grace is that most of their employees are polite and kind. read more

I typically like Panera. Actually, the location on Roosevelt next to Jewel, I would give 4-stars. However, this location, needs to work on their customer service. We came in on a Thursday around 7pm and there was no one in line. There were two young individuals working the register, both of which were talking to a friend off to the side. I stood there for a few minutes, as I didn't want to interrupt. Finally, I asked politely which of them could take my order. They quickly shooed me to the "quick order" lane, or whatever it's called. I had no interest in using that, so I asked nicely again if one of them could just take my order. They looked at each other, sighed, and one of them said "fine, over here". Great start. After we ordered two salads and one soup, we grabbed our drinks and went to our table. I hadn't been to a location yet where the device they give you actually knows which table your at, instead of just buzzing. Especially since I was just at the Roosevelt location and they just have the buzzers. Anyways, after 5 minutes, I went over by the counter and waited patiently. Someone, looking like a manager, noticed me after a few minutes and asked what I was doing. I said, "just waiting for my order, no rush". He looks at me, laughs, and says, "read your buzzer". Those were his exact words. I said "excuse me? I thought I had to come pick it up". He finishes with, "well that's not how it works here. If you took 1 minute to read the buzzer, you wouldn't be standing here". He's luckily I was with my Fiancé, as I wouldn't have been so friendly to him after that comment. Once the food came, it was dry and the salad had about 3 pieces of chicken in it. The soup was cold and about half full. Maybe they were just having a bad night, but this place was a joke. This Panera has always been good, but tonight the service was awesome! I went in to get my free birthday pastry and the worker at the register was incredible. She told me what went well with the chocolate cake I ordered, and even sang me happy birthday! It definitely made my night. I used to work for Panera in the early 2000's. It was a good experience for me! I learned a lot about customer service and taking pride in quality ingredients. In my sleepy town, it was a step ahead of any other dining experience. I feel like this location could use a little resurgence in customer service and going beyond what's expected. The food was good. The atmosphere was safe, and facilities were clean. Something was still missing. My wife's soup was cold - no biggie - but when she went to ask if it could be warmed up or replaced, she was pointed to a microwave across the room. We weren't thrilled with that. The flat "get them through the line" approach to the ordering process felt very rushed and impersonal. I understand a dinner rush can be stressful, but one instant way to help people deal with a rush is to be pleasant and make sure when it is their turn, you give them your full attention and make it worth the wait. Like I said, not miserable, but who wants to be characterized as "not miserable"? This is a location that could be five star good with an up tick in customer service. My friend and I chose this Panera as as halfway point for us to meet for dinner. I have a really good sense of direction (and with a GPS on my phone and a compass in my rearview mirror, who wouldn't?) yet this location felt impossible to find. I almost called her and said, "screw this, meet me at Five Guys." I had my favorite strawberry poppyseed chicken salad. No complaints about the food here, Panera always serves up fresh and fast food. Something was up with the ice machine though, I waited and waited...and ended up making a mess. Nice. There is a small meeting room here, which had 2 reservations on a Friday evening, so you might want to call ahead to reserve the room. Nice option for lunch in the area, most of what's around here is all chain restaurants, if you can find it. read more

This Panera is the best, especially when compared to others in the area! 1. They have never screwed up my order. 2. Everything is tasty and made in the spirit of good food/drink (i.e. coffee is hot, bagels aren't burned, etc.) 3. They give you HUGE portions (especially in the "you pick 2" where they give you full portions rather than the skimpy ones at the other Panera in the area) 4. They offer FREE wifi...not "free if you purchase a gift card"...FREE 5. I should disclose that this review might be somewhat bias since I'm already a big Panera fan. I recently came here with my family to grab some dinner. As usual, I ordered my turkey bacon bravo (sans the bacon). That particular sandwich is DELICIOUS and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good sandwich. As always, the service was great. We got our order to go and we were in-and-out pretty fast - despite there being a line. During past visits, I've also had their bread bowl soup (to die for!) and other dishes that I can't remember right now. My wife has had the mac and cheese and she raves about it. But the really cool thing about Panera are the computers they have set up at the table. They're flat screen monitors with a keyboard that is somehow projected onto the table that you type with. I didn't play around with it that much but it seems like you can surf the web, check the news, your email, etc. I don't know how long they've had these for, but it's really cool to see. I might just start hanging out at Panera more! read more

Pathetic! EVERY TIME I have ordered a rapid pick up or delivery meal from this location it has been wrong! It is not rocket science, just a couple of simple sandwiches and soups. Just do the basics and have somebody check the items against the slip before bagging everything and problem solved! Clearly no management to speak of at this place! The place to start your morning. Summer outside seating is the best. Great for groups or to meet friends. Do not try to hustle you out even when busy. last week we ordered the warm bowls for a rapid pick up, and they missed the time estimate by 20 minutes. Tonight I ordered the same for a curbside pick up, received notification that the order was ready, responded to the text telling them i was there, and then waited 10 minutes before I decided to go inside and pick it up. Who doesn't love Panera Bread; there isn't much I can say about the food. The sandwiches and soups are yummy, the drinks are fabulous and the desserts are better. The reason I give it 5 stars is because this Panera has a meeting room that you can reserve for large groups. This comes in handy for book clubs or other social organizations to eat good, inexpensive food privately. The only requirement to reserve the room is that you need to spend $50 in food/drink orders - but nobody kept track of how much money we spent. You have to call early to reserve the room because several groups in the area regularly use it. Panera is open until 9, but they let us stay and talk while they cleaned up shop and were nice about us staying late. read more

I like Panera in general, particularly for breakfast. Their orange scones and sandwiches with sharp asiago cheese are delightful. I typically like my coffee dark, unflavored, and black, but here I really enjoy the hazelnut with some cream. When we visited today, they seemed understaffed for the Memorial Day crowd. No bother really, just a bit longer wait to order than you normally find at Panera. This one has plenty of seating, which is the main trouble with a lot of smaller locations. Try the scones. I'm a scone lover, and Panera has the best around. Forgot to add: I'm glad Panera is finally recycling (at this location at least, so I'm assuming at the others as well) With all those plastic cups, I hope more businesses of its kind will follow suit. read more

This is the only panera that I have every been to. I had a turkey sandwich with the broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl. This was back in my fat days, of course. I think Panera is a really cool concept. Everything seems very fresh, and the people who work at this location were very friendly. Food was not amazing, but it's wasn't bad at all. I remember the prices being fairly reasonable, so that's good. I could definitely see myself heading back here. Hopefully that will be soon! The manager went above and beyond his responsibilities to make certain things work for my group one night. Total class... which is rare these days. The food is much healthier and the restaurant appears nice only with out customer service centered staff through out the experience this company over time would hate to see swallowed . Owners are catching on how mistakenly it was to carve if customer service for productivity . Hopefully we will see more welcoming smiles and especially the cooks who are at times rude. I go here all the time, it's in between the two schools I'm going to so on my long days I'll stop in and get some lunch. It's just your typical Panera, pick-twos and pastries. I don't mind the prices, it's better food than if I went to McDonald's and cheaper than other sit down restaurants. Get their rewards card though, as long as you keep an eye on the expiration dates it totally pays off. Got $2 off my food today, boo yah!! I pretty much always get the same thing, salad and a sandwich. The salad (Caesar) is good, not totally drenched in dressing but not dry either. The actual lettuce is good, not that old icky lettuce that you pick out. The sandwich (tomato/mozzarella on ciabatta) is always good, I like the flavor, interesting without being overwhelming. If your coming for lunch try to avoid 12:30-1pm that's when all the suits show up. Other than that I spend a good amount of time here and have ever had an issue. read more
