This Panera is becoming the new McDonalds. Not by its food choices but its service or lack there of. Place has progressively gotten worse with each and every visit. The one thing they have been consistent at is taking a very long time to get food out. No matter how empty or full the place may be the food always takes a long time to come out. Today they ran out of two of the items I had ordered as I was ordering them. Ended up cancelling the order and eating at another restaurant within the plaza. Wonderful and fast service here. Usually, when we are there we see good spots to sit at and nice window views of the area. The seating is also not as spacious so sometimes being there during crowded hours may be claustrophobic. Other than that, this place is great for its sandwiches, wraps, bread/soups, and drinks too. Turn. Back. Now. I am writing this not as a review, but a warning. A warning to fellow Weston citizens. Please, if you love yourselves, families, or taste buds, do not set foot in this horrible place. I am not sure if this place is run by a toddler, or perhaps the manager was hog tied and tossed into the walk-in cooler, but it is terribly run. Let's start with this issue. They are routinely understaffed, often with one person working the register, and working the register with the attitude that you just barged into their home and asked them for food. If that's not fun enough, from open til close they are routinely out of half of their items. I take it this is a sign of great inventory management by the unseen toddler manager. Next up we have the quality of food. I just moved to this area a few months ago and have given this place 8 tries. 8 trips into hell on earth. I ordered the usual things me and my girlfriend get, trying breakfast and lunch items. Nope. Not just a bad day. Not just a coincidence. Routinely awful food, prepared in a sloppy manner, with old ingredients. A sandwich which I can only describe as containing dried chicken clippings, with half the bread hanging out of the box and cheese melted onto the plastic. A bagel somehow cut into thirds. Cold mac and cheese. A salad with moldy, old greens. An absolute tragedy. And lastly, the state of the restaurant. Dirty, messy, post-apocalyptic wasteland. Best way to describe it is if a natural disaster hit our area and Panera was looted, but decided to open the next day. Napkins thrown about, no cream, no utensils, everything you need missing, piles of treys with food going bad on their food line. It is truly a sight to behold. This brings me to the depressing conclusion. I am a huge fan of Panera. Unfortunately, I have moved to an area where my closest location is the Weston outpost, which might as well be located in hell and run by Satan. Any one out there, please save your time, money, sanity, and family and avoid this place at all costs. I'd rather go eat out of the Anthony's dumpster than ever go into this insult of an establishment. I will be contacting corporate soon in a desperate attempt to restore honor to our local Panera. Worst customer service ever! I visited the Panera Bread on Weston Road/Griffin this morning. All I wanted was a cup of coffee. When I arrived there where two customers in line. 10 minutes later, I was still waiting. I approached the manager and asked if she could take care of me or open another register and she rudely replied to use the self check out register. After waiting in line for such a long time I did not expect that reply. As a result, I walked out without my coffee and more than likely will never return. read more

Little to no wait at Panera Bread despite its's preppy Weston location. Parking is usually a problem, though, in the Weston Commons Shopping Center. On September 19th, I had the "You Pick Two" lunch with a cup of Autumn Squash soup and a Frontega Chicken Panini. Total check was $8.82 As for a drink, I had my usual water. Panera has become my second office. It's noisy, but the noise is tune-out-able. I can sit and do work with their hassle-less wi-fi. They have good food, too...oh yeh. Hot sandwiches beat cold ones. The salads are substantial. Baked goods all done well. Their dark roast coffee does it for me, and I can sit two hours working without hassle, so who's to complain? I really just wanted a quick healthy lunch with my daughter on a Saturday afternoon. We walk in and there is a long line, I already know this isn't going to be a quick lunch. Their Panini's come out cold, the 20 minute sandwiches that they make are always really messy and are over price. If I'm paying $10 for a sandwich and a bag of chips that better be the best tasting sandwich I ever had and it should take less than 10 minutes. I've worked in other restaurants before, and even at a sit-down restaurant example Chili's or Bonefish their ticket times are usually 12 minutes the longest it should take for food to get to your table is 15 minutes... why the hell is a fast food place like Panera taking 20 minutes to make a shit flatbread sandwich. Again this is not a one-time bad experience I've gone to Panera at least once a week (not by choice either remember this is the only place nearby that I can go to).. it's like the employees there know that there are no other fast food options. Panera is horrible! I ordered online for Delivery to my office the other day and they messed my entire order. I ask for no peanut dressing in my salad. Well they put the peanut dressing in the salad. In addition my sandwich was missing all the toppings. I had to wait 25 minutes for someone to answer the phone. The lady on the phone was rude. She told me that if I wanted my food again I will need to go and pick it up!!! I was furious! They fuk up my order which I paid delivery fees and I have to go and pick up my food. The upholstered booths are gross, the chairs are splattered with food the carpet is a science experiment! The manager warned us our order would take 20 minutes try 45 minutes. They have a whole assortment of baked good made fresh along with sandwiches, soups, and salads. I usually get the Italian sandwich on ciabatta or one of the soups. After you place your order you sit down, then like magic it shows up at your table minutes later! If you're looking for a lunch date spot or a place to study, you can do both here.
