Lots of construction out front on the facade and sidewalk, but they're still open. Inside, busy and a lot of people with laptops grinding away. Ordering kiosks upfront (3) for those who don't want to talk to a person, and cashiers more towards the back. Lots of bagels and pastries up on the wall behind, though after a day there, not sure how soft they are anymore. Tried the flatbread pizza - meh, too smoky for the pepperoni for me, and the chocolate chip cookie didn't make a "meltingly good" or "crisp/chips ahoy" stand... instead it was sorta soft, sorta chewy and overall didn't satisfy for a $2.75 cookie. You get something much bigger at Le Pain for that price. Is it ok? Yeah, but I definitely get better value away.

I usually do dine in or pick up. Pick up is quick and the food is usually better than if you got delivery. Dine in food is best though. Usually hot and without rotting pieces. It does tend to get crowded, and it doesn't always look very clean.

Still under cooked chicken

This location just gave me what seems to be raw chicken skin. In my chipotle chicken avocado sandwich. That's disgusting. The chicken is always an issue on this sandwich never cooked completely. Seems like it's for animal chow. This time I got it to see if they would have a better day. Nope they gave me chicken skin and barely cooked chicken. I tried to bake it some more at home because I was too far to go back for a replacement. Baking it didn't help because I burnt the bread and the chicken was still needing another 15-20 mins of cooking. Never ordering that again. Now because it was a pick two I had broccoli cheddar soup that was the same good. I also ordered a 2nd pick two just in case the chipotle chicken sandwich was bad. The Tuna is always my go to because they don't mess it up. The tuna sandwich has a different bread now and I hate it. The sandwich was great because of its original bread and how it complimented the tuna and greens. Now you get regular multi grain bread slices like I made the sandwich at home. I spend a lot of money at Panera because they were consistent never in my life did I imagine taking them out of my fave to grab a healthy but good bite. I'm so saddened. I have photos

Vegan Avocado Sandwich with Chips

During my visit, I experience good customer service. This is actually my second time visiting this Panera location and asking about a Vegan option. An employee suggests a custom sandwich order which consists of Avocado, cucumbers, greens, and onions. The sandwich comes with a surprise, a random hint of jam, which offers a sweet flavor I appreciate in the sandwich and that I actually want more of with every passing bite without it. The chips are tasty, light enough to eat a bag or two.

This is my go to Panera in addition to the Edison one in NJ. The staff are always Nice and accommodating if you have any issues with the food and the portions are good. I've gone to many other paneras in different states And the ones in New Jersey seem to be really good and especially the West Orange one. I love it that they have Wi-Fi and a Fireplace and comfortable seats. My egg white breakfast sándwich was amazing on a bagel.

Good portions, good food, clean location, ample parking. I love that they have shaded outdoor dining too. Minus one star for the malfunctioning self-order kiosks. The line at the register was long so my group used the kiosk to speed things up but there was an error with the card reader. It's not a huge issue but still inconvenience that resulted in a few people receiving their food a lot earlier than others. I hope this gets fixed.

Iced green tea... Refreshing...

Stopped in Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. This was my first time at this particular Panera location. Nothing particular stood out it's your typical Panera. I ordered at the counter for three of us while we were waiting on 1 other person to join. We ordered two of the pick twos and an onion soup bread bowl and drinks. It really wasn't that busy and there were plenty of empty tables but it seemed to take quite a while for our order to arrive. When the other person arrived she placed her order at the self serve kiosk. Her order was delivered to our table and when she was almost done she realized she never got the drink she ordered. Not really a big deal she went back up and they gave her a cup for the iced tea. I got my my usual a pick two with half chicken salad sandwich and the broccoli cheddar soup. It was good as usual and I had their iced green tea. So nothing much remarkable here if you like Panera it's a good spot...

The floor and the tables are filthy. Certain sections have cramped seating. Otherwise it is a typical Panera.

I've been wanting try this place for a long time but the historical reviews threw me off because…read morethey seem so inconsistent. Well, this week I got sick and I needed soup, so I took the plunge and ordered the standard chicken soup. I was very happy. It was clearly made from scratch. Flavor was great. I also tried the special which was grilled chicken with rice and pigeon peas, - while this was a high-quality meal, the grilled chicken breast was a little too "healthy vibes" for me personally - I prefer bone in chicken or dark meat. However, the rice with peas was great. It was served with a good amount of avocado and the seasoning of the chicken was good. So today: we ordered the Greek orzo soup and a lamb Gyro with fries -- the Greek orzo soup was absolutely delicious - flavor, texture, perfect. clearly made from scratch. The Gyro was delicious- flavors on point, the Tzatziki was very good - ratio of vegetables to lamb to Pita to sauce - all very good. I could not be more excited to have this place down the block from my house! I wanted to leave a detailed review so anyone who's been on the fence can take the plunge and order something off the menu. Join me & support this very sweet local business!

I installed the JS app and placed my order ahead of time that way. I got the Edamame Crunch warm bowl for me. He wanted the Tokyo Super greens with tofu and a PB smoothie. This Sunday, my husband and I had lunch at the JS location in Livingston. It's nice inside! The building looks small from the outside, but it feels much roomier when you go inside. Lots of seating, toddler friendly with high chairs. Like the DQ and Twisted Tulip, there are also outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. The guy who took my order and made our salads was friendly and polite. JS promotes sustainability also, which we like and try to live by. Utensils are compostable, and JS does this reusable bowl option when ordering takeout/to-go (didn't try this yet)... We're fans and would recommend Just Salad.

Not an enthusiastically happy bunch but not at all rude. Most of my complaints are likely related to management, as staff generally require training and support to be above average. My comparisons here are to Chopt, where I get elite status by March or April every year. -They forget to add the included bread at least 75% of the time. -The crispy chicken is like 1990's frozen nuggets. -The bowls for salads are shallow, small, and never close to full. -The wraps are fairly small. -Dressing amounts vary from just right to way too much. -My order is never ready on time. I've learned to order way in advance. -Drive through is great, but no waiting area or queue management (ie. "pull over there and we'll bring it out") for people who they need significant time to prepare orders for, so everyone sits in line. -Seemingly zero ventilation. It smells like you're eating in the kitchen. Very strong smorgasbord of food odors, if that bothers you. -Rewards system is ULTRA stingy about earning a free bowl (you get a raffle reward with each order and have to collect eight stamps for a free salad, but the stamps expire before you could ever possibly collect eight unless, I assume, you come nearly every day). Those are my complaints after years of eating there. On the positive side, and the reason I keep coming back: -The food is fresh. The non-fried chicken is delicious. -It's in a great location for a lot of people at the corner of Eisenhower and Route 10. -Plenty of options, including bowls. My wife likes the soup. -Drive through. -Rewards system usually gives a free snack/sweet or canned seltzer for next visit. Overall, I'm happy to eat here despite the prices not really reflecting the smaller portions. It's slightly cheaper than Chopt, but I would likely only eat at Chopt if it were closer to my house. I'll keep coming but after I received a very small salad yesterday (still delicious) and they forgot my bread again yesterday, I decided to write this, hoping someone sees it. Right now, this location has a captive market but it's a nearby quality competitor away from losing a customer.

The entrance was confusing--it feels like you're walking into a clothing store, with a kitchen right next to it. Personally, I'd hesitate to buy clothes so close to cooking smells and fumes. The setup felt odd to me. Our server, Kayden, was a gem: attentive, polite, and welcoming. They were definitely the highlight of our visit. We started with the onion ring chutney, which I'd rate 2 out of 5. The onions were fried so hard that they were difficult to enjoy, but we were hungry and don't like wasting food. The tandoori chicken was underwhelming. The Foreigner burger had good flavor and was very juicy, but the fries were also overly fried and hard. I didn't understand the approach to fried hard. The Pom Pom juice tasted good, but it had too much ice and felt overpriced for what we received. I'm glad I finally tried it, and I appreciated Kayden's service, but the food and overall value left me unsure whether I'd return.

The TV playing a PBS program is from 2003, but it's more about the food right? Good selection of menu items, from salads to soups sandwiches and smoothies. Pricing is based on weight of the salad, so I was a little taken aback that two salads (add avocado), and two seltzer's were just short of $30. The place is nestled in the plaza close a bookstore, coffee shop, and several delis of varying flavors. So they do have some competition and without any outdoor seating available I think it's a rough time for them. However, right across the way is a little park with benches and a few tables, so you can sit and eat safely. I imagine they handle a lot of delivery and takeaway orders. Bottom line is the food is fresh, flavorful, and I'll be back for a good salad.

The Lentil Soup is a calm soup, not too salty, not too spicy, carrying natural lentil bean flavors, earthy and warm. Thanks for being patient and understanding with my request to change spoons (the first time, in the photo, due to a food like stain, and the second time due to a dry dishwasher soap/milk like stain). Also, I think, if possible, replacing the fogging/smog-stainful-looking plastic like cups (for free water) with paper-like cups or by way of glass cups and metal-like pitchers may contribute to the eatery's ambience well. My friends and I decided on 3 cakes: strawberry, Oreo, and chocolate. I don't think I will ever be returning - the cakes tasted old. The best way to describe it was a like it came from a chain supermarket - lacking flavor and not up to fresh quality. The only one that was edible was the chocolate slice. We felt so bad to have to throw away the other two cakes, but they were not good at all. It was a waste of money to pay so much for a slice and not eat it.
