Worst strawberry basil lemonade from this location
    Veronica P.

Now all the bad ratings make sense. I got my sip club strawberry basil lemonade here today and it's the worst one I've ever had. I think they water down their lemonade because even after I asked for more puree, it still tasted barely sweet. I drank some down and added some lemonade from the drink stand, and it didn't help. Please don't water down your drinks!!! It's so gross. At least the staff were nice!

Spicy Fiesta Chicken sandwich. Pathetic amount of chicken- maybe three slices at most
    Madi Y.

Absolutely awful experience today - got two pick twos and the sandwiches each had maybe two or three slices of chicken at the most. Pathetically awful portion sizes. Such a joke, you can't even tell what's between the bread when looking at it. If I didn't have a gift card I would've felt even more ripped off than I feel now.

I love Panera and I loved the salad I ate just before running off to catch my flight at the airport. This review comes with a HUGE "but"... We went to our table and were waiting - we grabbed a table which was empty and mildly ok - the restaurant actually just seemed very dirty. There was a sweet lady who came over and started cleaning our table but honestly it was like she was pushing the dirt around and then she lingered a really long time and kept coming over to the table which was sweet but...I think she had had an accident because she smelled very strongly like feces...I am not kidding. It really turned our stomachs and my sister pretty much grabbed me and wanted to run before the lady came back.

Bag opened by Door Dash driver who took photo of it after tampering with food. DD refused to even report it and told me to contact Panera.

Ordered tuna with avocado and extra mayo. Got tuna and nothing else on dry bread. Frustrating.

After pouring through reviews and local forums, people consistently mentioned D'Agostino's. I decided to give it a try. Everyone was right: It is a great sandwich! I ordered the small, traditional Italian sub. I ordered mine with easy oil/vinegar, tomatoes, hots, lettuce, and mayo. I'm not a fan of raw onions whatsoever. The sub arrived perfectly, fresh not soggy. The sub roll is super soft, yet somehow holds up to the vegetables and condiments! The bread is freshly baked and some of the best bread I've had from a sub spot! The sub was piled generously, yet sliced perfectly thin for a more "airy" bite. This is exactly how I like my sandwich. I am not a fan where it's like biting into a giant, thick slab of meat. Here, the meat is sliced thin and arranged in such a way that every bite is "airy". True sub fabs will know exactly what this means. The closest example to this is the chain, Jersey Mikes. The meats were sliced thin. Arranged perfectly on that pillow-soft sub roll. Veggies were great, fresh and crisp. Juicy tomatoes. Delicious hots that truly make the sandwich! This is our new go-to for subs in Waltham. Next time, I'll try to be more adventurous given they have a plethora of specialty subs. Sometimes, you just crave a solid, OG Original Italian Sub!

They really are fried to perfection. Frituras de Maiz: (10/10): Wow, these fritters are also amazing. They come with such a rich sauce. The fritters are exploding with flavor. Cazuela de Coliflor Asada (9/10): Insanely good dish. The cauliflower has perfect texture, complemented by the pistachios. The sauce is SO good. The cauliflower soaks it up so well. Chicharrones (9/10): Melt in your mouth pork belly. The pork skin crust was perfect. The sauces really make most of the dishes here. This dish is no different - I loved the sauce. Ropa Vieja (9/10): Perfectly slow cooked meat. One thing that really stood out to me was actually the white rice. The rice was VERY high quality, and I appreciated it so much. It's rare to come by rice this good. It had the perfect texture, chew, and fragrance. Ropa Vieja de Hongos (9/10): Pretty much the same as Ropa Vieja above. The mushrooms are delicious, and the dish is just as good whether your order the mushroom or steak version. Empanada del Carne (9/10): Oh man, the crusts are so good. This is pretty on par with the ones I just had in Puerto Rico. Chuletas de Cordero (8/10): The seasoning is heavenly. I was licking the lamb chops clean. Croquetas (8/10): Very solid croquetas. Wouldn't say it's a must-order, but you can't go wrong with them. Costillas a la Guayaba (6/10): The first time I had this it was really nicely marinated, and the rib meat is so tender that it almost falls off the bone. The second time, the meat was dry. Maduros con Tocino (6.5/10): This dish was pretty good, but got overshadowed by the other ones. Pulpo (6.5/10): Octopus was tender and savory. The potatoes were too salty. Camarones a la Plancha (6.5/10): Solid dish, but I enjoyed some other ones even more. Ensalada de Aguacate y Pina (6/10): The salad was a bit too sour, and that sourness overpowered the dish. It was a great blend of ingredients, though. *** and one dessert *** Churros con Chocolate (8.5/10): Big crunchy fluffy churros!! The chocolate sauce is amazing (not really spicy at all). You have to get this for dessert!!
