    Popcorn chicken

This family run restaurant is very homely, from the decor to the food they serve. They do have short opening hours and limited number of seating, but we didn't have a problem getting a table a little after they open, and service was fast. I highly recommend their popcorn chicken - tender on the inside but still very crispy on the outside, and their spicy wonton noodle soup - very flavorful and hearty. I do think the salt and pepper pork chop was a little dry and tough tho.

The food was amazing here! We got there at around 6:30ish on a Saturday and we had to wait 30ish minutes, so we just visited a nearby bakery. I will say that it's not a great place for large groups, since they don't have a lot of space inside for seating. We ordered the wonton soup and the braised beef noodle soup and both were so fragrant and delicious. For their spice options, even the medium can be quite spicy so be cautious of that. We also had their popcorn chicken and accidentally got the most spicy option (which was a mistake haha), but it was still delicious. Food is reasonably priced as well!

I wished this place had more seating honestly. We were a group of 6 and did have to wait a bit because they don't do reservations and they also do not have a lot of seating. The food is great and the menu is not overly complicated. We enjoyed the beef noodles, sesame balls, and the popcorn chicken a lot. It is a cozy place. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Came here on a Saturday for lunch and it was very busy. I had to wait 45 min, but it was worth the wait. This is a cozy little restaurant with only a handful of tables, but the food is amazing. Every dish we got was fresh, flavorful, and pretty authentic! The price was also very reasonable and the portion sizes are generous.

Very homey atmosphere. Server was attentive and food was good. Portions were on the smaller side but aligns with the price and a normal amount for a lunch spot. The noodles were the best from what we ordered.

Super casual dining experience, great for a quick bite. They also have take-out and boba that you can order and grab and go. They have a decent amount of space but not that many tables so we had to wait 15-20 mins even when we went on a random week day. However once we were seated the service was relatively quick. We just got the soft tofu for our baby (she loved it, ate almost all of it) and then we got two soups: beef noodle soup and the spicy wonton noodle soup. The broths on both the soups were very good and the portions were also decent! The wonton spice also had a nice kick to it, was not expecting that. Many more items on the menu I would love to try, will most definitely be back!

    "Large" braise beef noodle

I recently ordered take out here and the portion size is extremely small. I ordered the large braised beef noodle. For $20 for a large bowl, I was shocked to see how tiny the portion size was. For reference, the tiny take out container in the pic was where the noodles and veggies were. And there were about 5 small pieces of beef in the small soup container. This is the smallest portion I have ever had for noodle soup, especially considering I paid extra for "large"

Friendly family run restaurant, super welcoming and patient. Love the seasonal decor they put up. I've been here many times but wanted to leave a review this time. The popcorn chicken is a must get. Good flavor and juicy chicken bits. Some places make them too dry but not this place. We went with just mild hotness but I think you can get hot. Which would be equivalent to buffalo wings hot. The spicy wontons were small but comes with several. They are on the spicier side. So you'll need to get one if their speciality drinks too bring down the heat. The corn potato croquettes were smaller than what I'm use to but still flavorful. An order comes with two and they make a great appetizer. Occasionally grandma comes out to greet the customers.

Popcorn chicken & rice, spicy wonton noodles, corn and potato croquettes.

Excellent food and kind service. Understand if the restaurant doesn't allow online ordering, but at least post the updated menu online so people can call ahead and not wait. Croquettes very good, but I expected at least 3-4 for the price, and the sauce was not nearly enough for one.

Small casual mom and pop shop with 4, 4 person tables. Service was a little slow, as it appeared to be only two people primarily managing everything. Kudos to them as they did it with a smile and were extra friendly. Everything was delicious. The salt and pepper pork was tender and well seasoned. Taiwanese Kim chi was so refreshing, but on the sweeter side. Beef pancake had balanced well between amount of beef, pancake and hoisin sauce, and not oily like some reviews may have mentioned. Spicy wontons are a must! Can't wait to come back and try the other dishes!

My go-to beef noodle soup place! There is almost certainly a line for a seat, but it is well worth the wait. They will put your name on a waitlist and they have plenty of seating around to wait. The restaurant is clean and the seating is comfy. The service is very nice and all the staff are very attentive. I love the texture of the spicy wontons. They aren't too spicy and have a lot of filling. The beef noodle soup came out piping hot which I loved! The noodles had great texture and the beef was tender and flavorful. I will be back at least once a month for beef noodle soup.

First time here and wanted to try it out. Everything was delicious! Popcorn chicken comes with different flavor options: not spicy, mild, medium, hot. Got the not spicy/no spice popcorn chicken and was still very flavorful just not spicy at all so good for kids but still very good. We got a little bit of everything to try, and it did not disappoint. Stand out dishes: popcorn chicken for sure. It's so good that we're thinking next time we'll try one with some spice even though no spice was also very good. Beef noodle dish is the most costly item in the menu and you can pick depending on size of short rib, but the price goes up just a few dollars depending on size of short rib between $29 and $31. The short rib was good and tender and the soup was flavorful with some kick and a little spice but not too much. Fish fillet and chicken cutlet rice was good too! Loved the fried mantou dessert. It's like mini donuts with a sweet condensed milk-like sauce on the side. The boba drinks were all good too! Will return for sure!

Any vegan options??the food looks very tasty?

Aside from the vegetable dishes like the bean curd, edamame, kimchi none of the other items look like they are vegan.

Can I order online? I tried calling a few times but no one ever picks up?

They do not have online ordering. They are a small family crew so they don't always pick up the phone if it gets busy.

Do you have plans for a vegetarian soup option?

Do you take some day reservation?

Unfortunately, the size of our restaurant is too small for us to accommodate reservations. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

As soon as you walk in, you are in the battle of the drums between the Kumasi and the Djembe. So loud I couldn't think . I did ask to turn it down a few times, in the middle of my meal the Chef said I could eat outside. On that note I ordered way too much. The fried chicken was delicious !! Not greasy at all. But huge, sorry today I ordered two thighs that were the size of one large breast. A little condiment of shaved coconut and chive was on the side. Any sides were à la carte. I did try the " Cabbage Salad" that had a nice flavor, but was overdressed and is mostly iceberg lettuce, and rice with surprisingly sticky rice , so it was kind of yummy. The chicken came with one sauce I got the curry. It was divine.. & my friend got the chicken bites and some kind of mayo. I was going to leave a five star review because the food was that good however, on the receipt they charged $.92 for the containers and eating utensils. I'm disheartened because if they offered an alternative like a plate and regular silverware, I could see not adding it into their cost. If I refuse to pay for the containers, how would I eat it on that note the chef was nice enough to me to have me try a couple of items that I didn't have to pay for. Which I greatly appreciated and that is why I'm leaving such a nice review. I do recommend eating here, but take it home. Or call for delivery, they have their own AP. PS great smoothie's !!!

Yet spam was well not bad. We ate all of them. 2) bytes( mini fried chicken) they were overcooked. I attach the picture of it. So hard to chew and meat was nothing there. And I requested mayo but it was not there. But spicy sauce was with them instead in the box. The kids were complaining it was too spicy for mayo. 3) boba tea, I ordered with boba with extra fee. But it was not there just milk tea with brown suger. Later my girl who went to there to pick up, told me the server continued to speak to her even though my girl told to write down as she was deaf.
