The prices are affordable, the food is fresh, and the restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and cute. It's the kind of place you're happy to support and come back to. Thanks, Ruben, for taking such great care of us and keeping The Pickled Deli a place we're excited to visit! We'll definitely be back!

Ahh! So I have been wanting this place for sooo long. Yesterday I had the chance. I work nearby. I…read morewas working a double shift with a 30 minute break inbetween. So I got online. Ordered my food about 25 minutes before my break. Walked over. As I stood there the woman (I believe Missy) looked at me and looked away. I stood there as she made a sandwich in one of the slowest motions I've ever witnessed. Then a man from DoorDash came in. She told him,I'm sorry for the wait I've been sooo busy. I still gave her grace and waited. She eventually hands him his bag of items. I said hey,I ordered my food about 40 minutes ago online. She told me I Don't have an order for you. I showed her my email. She then said I don't know what to tell you. I was running out of time to even eat at this point. I told her my name again and that I would call regarding getting my money back. I got the most terrible sandwich for $20 Nextdoor and basically didn't even eat. So I called and she proceeded to say she was soo busy. I politely told her,you absolutely were not. I watched you for 20 minutes! And you ignored me multiple times after looking at me. You dismissed me. She claimed she had 3 online orders before I got there. She stated she found my order. I reminded her that I placed my order 25 minutes before I even got there. She then apologized again, while defending the fact she was "so busy" I stated that "being so busy" has nothing to do with customer service. I asked for management. She said they would be back on Monday. What a let down. What a shame that people With no customer service have to work in it just to have a job. I have sympathy and understanding to a certain level. But now I'm out the $20 I spent on a terrible sandwich from the neighboring store plus my expectations and business from what I was expecting to be an amazing sandwich. (I know this was long, sorry) lol. All and all, awful from start to finish. Don't go here expecting anything beyond what an employee is forced to do. PS,still waiting for my refund.

My husband and I shopped at the Tulare Outlets and afterwards we were looking for some good food. I picked this place after seeing many reviews. I am so happy I chose this place! I didn't get a picture of my husband plate because I was too focused on mine. He got the Bacon Smash Burger. He loved it. He said the patty was well seasoned. The veggies were fresh. The bacon was good. The fries were his favorite. He loved that they were not oily and battered to perfection. The fries were not soggy but crispy! I got the Chicken Kabob plate with rice & fattoush salad with an extra garlic sauce. Mediterranean food is my favorite and I am very picky when it comes to liking the food. This place nailed everything. The chicken was juicy, tender, and well seasoned. The rice was fluffy and so much flavor. The fattoush salad was my favorite because of the freshness and the dressing was very tangy and lemony. Things I love. The garlic sauce was great as well. It was not overpowering and packed with flavor. The staff were great and friendly. The place as a whole was unique with their old dinner look. I had a pleasant experience and will be back!

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed seats at the bar. Sam was our server and was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on. The food absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Taco Salad, and it was enormous! The tortilla shell was so crispy and well-made that it actually held up for leftovers the next day. The jalapeño ranch had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. We also tried the Drunken Chicken Sandwich. Sam recommended getting it breaded, and I'm glad we listened. The homemade breadcrumb coating was light, crispy, and flavorful without being overly thick or salty. For appetizers, we shared the Fried Pork Belly Bites, which were paired with a delicious coleslaw and a sweet Korean-style BBQ sauce, and the Deviled Eggs, which were AMAZING. They came prepared three different ways, making it fun to try each variation. Honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite. Their beer selection was impressive, and I was especially excited to find Crow & Wolf's Dark Wolf Seltzer on tap, one of my favorites and not something you see everywhere. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of character. Even the ladies' restroom had quirky, fun artwork that added a unique touch to the atmosphere. The size and amount of tv's was impressive. If you're looking for a relaxed vibe, great drinks, exceptional service, and food that delivers, I highly recommend checking this place out.
