It's a Panera Bread location. It does the job just fine. Nothing special about it. Nothing awful. Great service here with friendly employees who don't rush you if you're taking some time to decide on what to order. No complaints.

1/23/25 - I like their hazelnut coffee and their bagels with cream cheese. I got here just in time because it looked like they were running out of coffee and cream. One customer already notified the cashier of the coffee because he was probably on his third cup I could tell. When I picked up the creamer just a little cream came out. I waited about 15 minutes for my bagel to be toasted; they were busy just after 11 a.m. I really wanted to order some French onion soup instead of coffee but I remembered last time I ordered soup it was on the cold side and when I said something to the drive-thru cashier about it he denied that it was on the cold side by telling me " all their soups are hot!!!" At this point in life if I don't know when something is cold, medium or hot I need to go back to kindergarten. Lol!!

The lady I ordered from was very kind and helpful. The way she offered to bring my food to the table when I asked made me enjoy the time we spent at this location. I left a review before at the beginning of January and yelp is asking for another review and combining my pictures it seems for the end of January. I would like to suggest though more kiosk because 2 doesn't seem enough for a busy location. I tried to order from my phone but Wi-Fi was slow so I tried to go to the kiosk that were already taken up. I only waited for a 2 ladies ordering together ahead but didn't have to wait long. Asking for assistance isn't hard, the workers here are friendly. We sat at a table by the fireplace this time, I only wish it was on but then again I guess it didn't matter cause the day seemed hot after.

Service was moderately fast, not slow but not fast. I cant help but feel cheated when an order of mac n cheese for over six dollars was not even filled to or near the top. The price is not worth it im my opinion. The taste of the food was amazing, however. The facility was clean and had a nice, quiet ambience. The enployees forgot to include a bag of chips, but were kind and gave us one when we asked about it. The employees were nice except for one woman who, in a lighthearted tone, cursed loudly upon recieving instructions from a fellow employee or superior. Not very proffessional. The food was great but not worth the price, would not come back due to that factor unless I had a gift card or was attending an event.

Always get the soup/sandwich. Today was Chicken Noodle and Chipotle Avocado. The soup was delicious, flavorful and filled to the brim. The sandwich too was sooo good...just the right amount fixings!

i went tonight a little while ago and I was very disappointed... I ordered a bowl size soup and it looked like a cup size so freaking small! And then I ordered half size sandwich and it looked like the French baguette they they give you with the small.. I'm sorry but these two things for $25 no freaking way will I ever be going back! I need my refund because of how bad my experience was ! Also to make things more worse this lady with glasses helped me and when I asked her isn't the bread supposed to be in a bag she said no not unless it's multiple pieces of bread it will be bagged and then proceeded to make a gesture with her hands that had gloves on them... It doesn't matter if you have gloves or not the thing is you never know what type of bugs can go into your bag wether if it's sealed or not I do not think this is ok!

    Poor sandwich

Is this a real sandwich? Turkey and cheese on wheat. NO tomato, lettuce, or any condiments!!! Horrible Panera is just getting worse. Stay away! You can make a better sandwich at home with REAL Turkey - not processed! Save your $13!

Panera Bread Located on Pacific Ave in Stockton, CA. Here's our Story: It was my weekly Father and Daughter day for lunch. I asked my eldest where she wanted to eat at. She chose Panera Bread. Good choice by the way. As we walked in there is a sign to wear your mask. Unfortunately, my daughter left hers a in the car. But the staff gave her one. Kuddos to them. If you want you can use the drive thru, but the line is always hella long. There's also a kiosk to order if you don't want human contact. We used the register at the front counter. We both picked out the "You Pick 2' You get a half of a sandwich, soup or salad and a an apple or chips. Yer boi ain't getting no apple, so it was chips for me. I was surprised that there was seating available inside. We were planning to eat outside. It was kinda hot and inside worked, because the AC was on point. We kinda sat away from everyone. With the pandemic popping off, trying not to take too many chances. Anywho, you get this little paging device, probably has a name for it. But I'm not doing any research to find out what's it called. Bottom line, when the pager goes off. Your food is ready. The wait time wasn't long at all. Sat down, got our drinks and boom the pager was dancing on the table. I'm not sure if they are giving away trays. Because our food was sealed in a bag, I actually liked that. My Daughter ordered veggie soup, Turkey avocado sandwich and an apple. I got CHIPS, Broccoli and cheese soup and a chipotle chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed our food and our time together. No complaints here. Sincerely VD xoxo "It only takes a moment to make a moment"

    Nothing exciting about this sandwich

I'll be super short. This sandwich does not resemble the picture on the wall. The picture showed the yolk oozing. The bacon was hanging outside of the sandwich As if it was hanging on for dear life. Just look at the picture. The egg is over hard. This sandwich is just downright pathetic. I have seen McDonald's sandwiches put together better than this junk. The two stars is for the caffeine free Diet Pepsi.

The spaghetti and meatballs were good. I don't think I would order again though. But would encourage people to try the meatballs. They were hearty. The spaghetti sauce was good both were missing something flavor wise but still very good. Now the spaghetti alfredo on the other hand was outstanding. I swear it was some of the best Alfredo sauce I've had. I'm not expert by any means but in my opinion this Alfredo sauce was top tier. Garlicky just salty enough, thick and packed with flavor. The chicken parm was very good too. Flavorful and crisp. I would order this every time! Both worth a try but the Alfredo is a must order every time

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! - Ike's classic: tri tip with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. They forgot the "Fork It" sauce so it was a little bland and dry. Pretty upscale market with a nice deli and bakery for this area. I'd say real close to Whole Foods…read morequality and the prices match. But this local indy store has been around in this town for over 55 years, so it is well deserved for them to be a local fave. I only got a sandwich for the road and a bakery item, so no significant grocery shopping. I was traveling back home and didn't have a cooler so I refrained. But next time if I have a cooler, their meat counter will get exercised. Got a Salami Sandwich ($11/4*) from their deli and it was pretty solid. Every sandwich is customized, so every customer fills out a card, checks off your preferences and hand it over to a deli clerk. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just your basic sandwich stuff, but with quality and fresh ingredients. I liked everything in my sandwich, was even to put alfalfa sprouts in it, as I haven't had that option in over a decade. I wished there would have been an option to add oil n vinegar to make it more 'Italian' tasting, so I had to settle on just mayo and mustard, which is more classic American tasting to me. Still a solid sandwich that I was able to eat in 2 intervals so a decent value in my book. Coffee Crunch Cake ($7/3.5*) Very impressive tall cake with a very moist crumb. A little too industrial tasting for me but better than other grocery cakes like Safeway, which taste like plastic to me, so many additives and stabilizers. Cake part had a light chocolate taste, but maybe it was supposed to be more coffee-like? I couldn't taste any coffee except for this super hard and sweet candy on top used for garnish. Indeed that candy offered a 'crunch' element but in a very cloying and awkward way. Sure it was nice and glossy and even resembled shiny coarse stone like obsidian. But to take a bite that big of hard candy to go along a delicate cake was just too extreme for me. I think if that candy were in smaller chunks, more like a crumb texture, it would disperse more sending coffee flavor more evenly and not risk breaking a tooth on that hard sweet candy. I had higher hopes for this. Gawked at their butchers counter and it was pretty darn impressive, Pretty high quality stuff but also insanely expensive. Steaks start at $20 per pound and easily rises double to triple from there. But they got some serious cut steaks here, like 2-3 inch thick cuts and they even have a couple versions of wagyu steaks. Nothing is prewrapped, everything has to go through a clerk. Produce section just meh and regular. Well kept but Safeway may have a more extensive produce section. Dry goods definitely Whole Foods level. They seem to have a guy out front bbqing meats like sausages and tri-tip, like 7 days a week, which is impressive. I got there around 11 am and the employee was just setting up. Otherwise I may have tried something. Cool store, that if this were in my town, I'd be a reg. Since I was just a passing traveler, just call me impressed.

It has taken me some time, but I think I'm able to tell what items are made here at the store compared to items prepared elsewhere and sold here. The items that they have brought in are very good quality and taste great, I just prefer to have items that are made in-house, it satisfies my taste buds. Today I purchased "Podesto's Own" cookies. These are cookies they make in house. Today the flavours I purchased was lemon, malted white chocolate and a peppermint shortbread cookie. The price is $19.99/pound for these cookies and I bought roughly 4 to 6 of each of those flavours I mentioned, so I spent $11.51 total, but like I said, I get to indulge when I come to this store and it's no surprise to me when I get to the register. Some times I even surprise myself because I over estimate the prices which makes me happy to feel like I saved a little Today I also purchased three different kinds of cheeses that I was able to find in very small sizes. Literally, I think I paid $1.76 for the smallest one and I paid $3.12 for the bigger one. These are name brands that are expensive. (For my price range anyways) However these are cheeses that I would like to know what they taste like but I don't want to buy the full amount because what if I don't like it, they're too expensive for me to buy and then have to throw away so I'm excited to try the cheeses that I bought today. The last thing that I bought today was a green onion dip mix that I can only find at this store. I used to be able to find it at another store that is close by but for some reason, they stopped selling the green onion flavour and only sell the French onion, which I haven't even tried. I just know that the green onion is amazing and it doesn't matter what brand I try nothing compares to this one so I come to Podesto's to get this dip because thankfully they have carried it for years. It was really busy today, especially in the bakery and deli area, however, the people working today in that area were very friendly and tried to get to everyone as soon as possible. Once I got to the cashier everything went smooth. The long lines were gone and I got out of there without spending more than $40 today which is great. Oh, I forgot about something. I came across a fruit preserve that I did not think would be available at any store because I've only been able to find this online but it tastes amazing and it's low in sugar, which is what I'm always looking for as well. (Let's pretend like I didn't buy all those cookies today please...) Anyways, it's Fior di frutta, wild blueberries. I'm very excited for this. Now I know where to purchase this. I hope you have a successful shopping trip as I have today at Podesto's. There's so much to stumble upon and excite your taste buds!

Luckily, the line was short so we changed our crispy kare kare and sisig dishes to something else. We ordered: Dubai Pistachio Iced Latte - Yummy!!! They have alternative milks. It wasn't at all what I was expecting with baby potatoes and tomatoes. It was fab! Pork Skewers BBQ - well done! Excellent marinade on the pork. The garlic rice is very good! Love the fried egg on top. Thanks for the vinegar and pickled veggies on the side. Pork Longanisa - amazing flavor! Again, perfection with the garlic rice, fried egg, vinegar and pickled veggies. Bulalo Ramen with Bone Marrow - broth has so much flavor! It was served with garlic rice but I was hoping that it came with noodles instead since it says "Ramen." Not sure if it was because I didn't specify or if the person at the counter didn't ask. Overall, delicious bowl of comfort and that bone marrow was like butter!! Service was very slow. Ordering was fast but it took a while for the food to come out. There were 4 in our party and each of our dishes came out one at a time. We couldn't wait for each other because then the food would be cold. The owner was apologetic and so sweet. It sounds like in-house customers are competing with to-go customers or customers who preorder and reserve pork belly plates.
