It's a Panera Bread location. It does the job just fine. Nothing special about it. Nothing awful. Great service here with friendly employees who don't rush you if you're taking some time to decide on what to order. No complaints.

1/23/25 - I like their hazelnut coffee and their bagels with cream cheese. I got here just in time because it looked like they were running out of coffee and cream. One customer already notified the cashier of the coffee because he was probably on his third cup I could tell. When I picked up the creamer just a little cream came out. I waited about 15 minutes for my bagel to be toasted; they were busy just after 11 a.m. I really wanted to order some French onion soup instead of coffee but I remembered last time I ordered soup it was on the cold side and when I said something to the drive-thru cashier about it he denied that it was on the cold side by telling me " all their soups are hot!!!" At this point in life if I don't know when something is cold, medium or hot I need to go back to kindergarten. Lol!!

The lady I ordered from was very kind and helpful. The way she offered to bring my food to the table when I asked made me enjoy the time we spent at this location. I left a review before at the beginning of January and yelp is asking for another review and combining my pictures it seems for the end of January. I would like to suggest though more kiosk because 2 doesn't seem enough for a busy location. I tried to order from my phone but Wi-Fi was slow so I tried to go to the kiosk that were already taken up. I only waited for a 2 ladies ordering together ahead but didn't have to wait long. Asking for assistance isn't hard, the workers here are friendly. We sat at a table by the fireplace this time, I only wish it was on but then again I guess it didn't matter cause the day seemed hot after.

Service was moderately fast, not slow but not fast. I cant help but feel cheated when an order of mac n cheese for over six dollars was not even filled to or near the top. The price is not worth it im my opinion. The taste of the food was amazing, however. The facility was clean and had a nice, quiet ambience. The enployees forgot to include a bag of chips, but were kind and gave us one when we asked about it. The employees were nice except for one woman who, in a lighthearted tone, cursed loudly upon recieving instructions from a fellow employee or superior. Not very proffessional. The food was great but not worth the price, would not come back due to that factor unless I had a gift card or was attending an event.

Always get the soup/sandwich. Today was Chicken Noodle and Chipotle Avocado. The soup was delicious, flavorful and filled to the brim. The sandwich too was sooo good...just the right amount fixings!

Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich

i went tonight a little while ago and I was very disappointed... I ordered a bowl size soup and it looked like a cup size so freaking small! And then I ordered half size sandwich and it looked like the French baguette they they give you with the small.. I'm sorry but these two things for $25 no freaking way will I ever be going back! I need my refund because of how bad my experience was ! Also to make things more worse this lady with glasses helped me and when I asked her isn't the bread supposed to be in a bag she said no not unless it's multiple pieces of bread it will be bagged and then proceeded to make a gesture with her hands that had gloves on them... It doesn't matter if you have gloves or not the thing is you never know what type of bugs can go into your bag wether if it's sealed or not I do not think this is ok!

Poor sandwich

Is this a real sandwich? Turkey and cheese on wheat. NO tomato, lettuce, or any condiments!!! Horrible Panera is just getting worse. Stay away! You can make a better sandwich at home with REAL Turkey - not processed! Save your $13!

Panera Bread Located on Pacific Ave in Stockton, CA. Here's our Story: It was my weekly Father and Daughter day for lunch. I asked my eldest where she wanted to eat at. She chose Panera Bread. Good choice by the way. As we walked in there is a sign to wear your mask. Unfortunately, my daughter left hers a in the car. But the staff gave her one. Kuddos to them. If you want you can use the drive thru, but the line is always hella long. There's also a kiosk to order if you don't want human contact. We used the register at the front counter. We both picked out the "You Pick 2' You get a half of a sandwich, soup or salad and a an apple or chips. Yer boi ain't getting no apple, so it was chips for me. I was surprised that there was seating available inside. We were planning to eat outside. It was kinda hot and inside worked, because the AC was on point. We kinda sat away from everyone. With the pandemic popping off, trying not to take too many chances. Anywho, you get this little paging device, probably has a name for it. But I'm not doing any research to find out what's it called. Bottom line, when the pager goes off. Your food is ready. The wait time wasn't long at all. Sat down, got our drinks and boom the pager was dancing on the table. I'm not sure if they are giving away trays. Because our food was sealed in a bag, I actually liked that. My Daughter ordered veggie soup, Turkey avocado sandwich and an apple. I got CHIPS, Broccoli and cheese soup and a chipotle chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed our food and our time together. No complaints here. Sincerely VD xoxo "It only takes a moment to make a moment"

Nothing exciting about this sandwich

I'll be super short. This sandwich does not resemble the picture on the wall. The picture showed the yolk oozing. The bacon was hanging outside of the sandwich As if it was hanging on for dear life. Just look at the picture. The egg is over hard. This sandwich is just downright pathetic. I have seen McDonald's sandwiches put together better than this junk. The two stars is for the caffeine free Diet Pepsi.

We bought two different sandwiches, both of which were very sloppily put together and neither had much flavor. Very very disappointed!!

The last time I went the broccoli cheddar soup was not as good as usual. The same for the chicken sandwich. Very disappointing.

I checked out the menu online beforehand so I'd know exactly what I wanted. Their website is colorful, vibrant, and super easy to read. When I arrived, I was greeted right away with a smile by the female behind the counter. I built my own chicken bowl with the Swole protein portion, brown rice, five different fresh veggies, and added avocado (worth the extra $2.00). I also ordered the Chocolate PB Crush protein shake. They were busy with in-store customers, DoorDash, and online orders, but my food was ready in about 10 minutes. When I got my bowl, I couldn't believe how big it was. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the shake was absolutely to die for. Even my two-year-old loved it - and he's a very picky eater. As an amateur bodybuilder who usually preps all of her own meals, it was such a relief to walk into a place and get a clean, macro-friendly meal without having to cook or bring my own food for the night. This place completely saved me. The environment was great, the bathrooms were clean, and the overall experience was excellent. This will always be a stop for me when I'm in town. Plus, I just found out there's a Turlock location, which is even closer to me in Los Banos - so that's a huge win. Highly recommend!

I always order my bowl with no sauce and it came SLATHERED in sauce. Next time, paid extra for sweet potatoes and didn't get any. The bowl was SWIMMING in oil and I only ordered white rice and chicken, nothing that should have had oil. I've never seen so much oil in my life, I could seriously swirl it around at the bottom....

Papaya Salad: Fresh, bright, and a great healthy appetizer! Garlic Butter Soft Shell Crab: I appreciated the quality of the soft shell crab, which was crispy and rich. Shaken Beef: This was one of my favorite dishes. It came out steaming house, and the beef was teender and flavorful. Garlic Noodles: While these were simple, these buttery noodles satisfied our cravings. Rockfish: This was the final dish we all tried, which was a huge portion size. Besides navigating the bones, the fish was of quality and went well with the side noodles, vegetables, and fish sauce. Great experience with a variety of dishes!

Safe to say everything was delicious! We started with the grilled garlic butter oysters and wow... super rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. Definitely a must order! Got the garlic noodles too really good, but lowkey wish we had gone with the lobster noodles or blue prawn noodles instead. A picture of them popped up on the TV while we were waiting and they looked insanely good... instant food envy. The dodging cow was another standout. The combo of garlic, steak, and onions just worked so well together tons of flavor in every bite. Juicy and tender with every bite! Also tried the banh mi fries, which were a fun twist. The pickled veggies kept things fresh, jalapeños added a nice kick, and the fries stayed crispy underneath it all. While we waited, I grabbed a Thai IPA, super hoppy, refreshing, and perfect for a warm day. Service was great too. Staff was friendly, attentive, and gave solid recommendations! I wish we would've tried more dishes! Overall, really good eats and a great vibe. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to.

The restaurant was decorated in the style of a pub. Our server was very pleasant and answered our questions about the menu. We tried the chips and queso for starters. Everything looks the same and the same friendly atmosphere resides. Service is always awesome, and so is the food. This time we both chose the fish and chips lunch which includes 3 good sized pieces of batter dipped fish, and perfectly crispy fries. It was all great. Prior visit - This is a great little place to be for a meal. Totally unassuming from the street and even when you walk up, as it is in a small strip business center off of 11th Street. When I walked in for lunch, I was immediately greeted by a guy behind the bar (which is right at the door) with a smile. I proceeded upstairs to the clean and comfortable 'loft' and grabbed a table along the window so I could see out. The interior is clean and simple, open first floor to second floor ceiling. Great music playing, and just a nice vibe all the way around. Andrea, came by with a smile and greeting, asked if I had any questions, and headed off with my order. I didn't get the bartender's name, but he was just as attentive and super nice, as he came upstairs to my table and described some of the beers he currently has available. Small batch craft beers are good. . . Food: The menu is not so 'typical' as you get to select your protein, the sauce or spice for that protein, then your carb, and your veggie (or make it a salad). Nice choices too. My chicken with Korean BBQ sauce, beer batter fries and grilled Brussels sprouts was good, especially the sprouts. My chicken was on the dry side, but I have a feeling it may have been due to the fact they were managing a party of 15 as well as all the other patrons while I was there. A bit hectic for two people to keep up that pace. I definitely recommend coming to the Upper Room.

Now after i finally got a chance to finally try it, here's my personal take but i must say that my comment is purely based on my own opinion. We all have different taste buds and different experiences with this restaurant: - The signature beef roll was underwhelming: two pieces cut into four portions felt like poor value, and I ultimately discarded leftovers after two days in the fridge. I still can't figure out what is so special with that dish. I can't hardly finish one of the piece That particular dish is tasteless - Seafood fried rice lacked actual seafood parts on it and tasted decent mainly due to MSG rather than quality ingredients. - Four small pork shumai for $9 seemed overpriced. - Overall bill approached $72 for four dishes (before tip), which felt excessive given the portion quality and value. - We've had consistently better experiences and value from China Palace for dim sum and overall service.
