Worst customer service in my life, my wife placed an order using my debit card. Their app said it had an error processing our order, only to have my card charged 3 times. (No biggie at this point just need to go straighten out the order in store) upon arrival my wife asked about the order error and then showed the charges on my debit card to their staff to only get a response of "well your name isn't on any orders here so I don't know what to do for you". Not a, what did you order? let me enter a new order for you. Not a, I apologize for the inconvenience of being charged over 100 dollars on your card and still have no food. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the delivery prices are insane. Ordering a half salad and half sandwich at work will set you back more than $20. Other than that, a really good spot for breakfast of brunch. Their baguettes, bagels, and almond croissants are heavenly. read more

What has happened to Panera? I used to love eating here, but the place has changed. The people are nice, and the bagettes are yummy, but the place is so dirty with food all over the floor in the dining area, and gum stuck to the rug under my table. Their new chicken lime southwest salad, which looks so good in their photo, is all stuck together with gloopy dressing, and I couldn't find any chicken or avocados in the bowl. If you're trying to eat a healthy meal, check the weight watchers points on that gloopy salad before diving in. I won't return for quite a while after that. read more

I normally love it here but this last Friday my office did a catering for us and used Panera Bread in the valley. I went to go pick up the order and everyone was confused about it at first, then they found it and I walked out with this huge bag thinking I had all of the food. But when I got back to our office I realized I didn't have any of our sandwiches, just the sides. So back I went and while there was a quick apology as the girl scurried off to "hopefully find them in the walkin", only to get back to my office and realize that once again I didn't have everything in the bag. Now I take responsibility for not completely checking but when we called to and spoke to them person who was in charge of completely the order she just replied " ok, sorry" and brushed it off. I have left there more times without items I ordered and paid for than the times my order has been correct. I won't be making that mistake again. Went for dinner last night and had a problem with the kiosk and the manager came over and helped me. The kiosk wouldn't work for her so she took me to a register to ring me up. The impressive part is she remembered the whole order I had so I didn't have to remember everything my family ordered nor did I have to gather them back up to recite their orders. Some of the food was good. But I was really disappointed to find my steak and white cheddar panini covered in horseradish sauce. At first I thought I got someone elses order, but found out thats how they come. Its doesnt say that anywhere on the menu. Had I known, I would've asked to not include that. I feel like that should be stated on the menu or at least explained when ordered. I paid 10.99 for a sandwich I couldnt eat. Horrible service. First, the cashier, who was seemingly new and alone was very slow and got confused with any modifications. Training is great and it usually doesn't bother me when I get a trainee, but this time was awful since no one else was helping the poor guy. Second, when my food was brought to our table almost immediately, I asked where my side of sauce was and the girl who brought it out said "well what sauce" with complete attitude. After I told her that I wanted the signature sauce (what it's called on the website) she told me she would go and ask in a very rude tone. She brought it back and told me it was something different than it is. My friend ended up waiting about 10 minutes after I got my food to get her food, despite ordering at the same time. After tasting my sandwich I was thoroughly disappointed. My modifications that I paid for weren't on there and it was cold. My friend also said that her "fresh" avocado and tomato" were far from fresh. Not to mention the pepperonicinis on my salad were soft and not fresh. If you want bad service and cold/old food, Panera in the valley is the place for you. P.S. the girl that brought out our food has blue streaks in her blonde hair and wears black framed glasses. Just a simple warning. Ordered a combo special of a sandwich, bowl of mac n cheese and soda drink. $12.50 what!! I opened the bag and found this void a void of substance. Where was my food? So disappointed in this place. Been to several Panera's over the years. Never had an experience as poor as this one. Usually very satisfied with their service and their food. Food was awesome as per usual. Nothing abnormal there. Service...possibly the worst I've experienced at a restaurant in the area...ever... Ordered our food. Pleasant girl at register... Waited 35 minutes for our order of 3 salads and 3 sandwiches ... Ouch. Expected to have our food in the bag...our mistake there. Only half of the food we had ordered was in the bag. Drove home (15 minute drive) opened bag. Half the contents missing. called them. They apologized and told us they would have our missing food for us when we arrived. Drove there again (15 minutes) We arrived. Had to wait in line again...no one knew what we were talking about...finally a manager came over and took care of us...grabbed our bag. Looked in bag. Missing a half sandwich...gave up out of frustration and went home. Will never return. Expect more out of a Panera than this. Apparently not all paneras are the same. read more

Very good food and a fast place to eat for lunch. I deducted a star because the service is still working out the kinks (confused cashiers) but that is understandable with it just opening - and the food makes up for it! I ordered the turkey blt with avacado half sandwich and paired a cup of broccoli soup with it. I also got the deal where you buy a drink and get a pastry for $0.99. I choose the carrot cake for this option. It is a lot of food and I was not able to finish my turkey sandwich as my soup came with a large chunk of fresh bread! I was also able to take the carrot cake as a treat for later. Also the ingredients in the sandwich were very fresh. I appreciated the real turkey versus usual processed sandwich meat (example subway) and the fresh avocado, lettuce, and tomato. Very good nutritious fresh homemade tasting stuff! I usually LOVE Panera! One of my favorite places to relax, eat and get some work done. Although, last time I was in at this location I had gotten dinner, then ordered a meal for my Fiancé to-go. There was still more than 30-40 minutes before closing time. I figured I was smart to get it in before it was too late. They were already working on closing despite people still being in the lobby. I could here the girls in the back loudly complain about having to make another meal after they just shut-off things. I don't recommend being there too late.. The setup is not what I'm used to with other locations. This is very much more self serve versus having your dinner brought to you. There is a Panera in California and my favorite feature is they give you a device that you swipe at you table and when your order is ready, they know exactly where you are. read more

I love Panera bread and visit one a week usually when I travel for work. This one is new and they have no clue what they are doing. In their defense you would think people had never ordered from a menu before, so having to deal with a bunch of people with ridiculous questions can't be easy. Still, they have a pick up menu which is a huge mistake with their seating set up. The seats at the long benches are way too close together - I don't need an old lady's ass in my panini. Secondly it took FOREVER to get my panini and it was cold. Like they put the thing on for like 30 seconds maybe. It was lunch so I expected a wait, but it was ridiculous. This was my first time at any panera bread so i was excited to visit. I went through the drive through since my daughter was passed out in the back, i did not want to wake her. They have a good selection of soups, sandwiches, kids menu, desserts and salads i liked that. I didnt want to take up the line they had looking over all the items so i quickly decided on the full size ceasar chicken salad with a water. The drive thru attendant was very friendly and pleasant, as i arrived home (30 min away). I opened the back and took out my salad, side of bread, four packets of butter, and my fork/napkins. Now this may be a dumb question but does the salad not come with Ceasar dressing at panera bread? IT WAS MISSING. I was so bummed, I ended up using my own dressing here at home but would of wished it came with its own to fully experience panera bread :) I did like it though. read more

Great food, like the kind of food you dream about. The customer service was so poor though, it hindered my experience. I live down the street so I've been watching this location being built since it was just a dirt pile. The general manager was there since it was opening day, and he rudely told my husband and I and another couple to "hurry and choose what [we want] or move to the other side!", and we literally just walked in. I've been to Panera once, I don't know my order the minute I walk in, sorry. Being the general manager I was baffled by how rude and negative he was. Granted, yes it's opening day. But that should be the day you're most chipper to show customers what an awesome establishment and customer service you all provide. The cashiers were a hit or miss. We had two and they both were so rushed and unfriendly. There wasn't a huge line behind us and or I would understand the need to get people through the line, but there were 5 cashiers. They mentioned there was 99¢ pastries since I bought a drink. I asked which pastries and they both chimed in and said "the ones behind that glass". There were 3 glass displays and I asked if the top display was included in the 99¢ deal. The cashier who wasn't directly ringing me up snapped, "can you see?! Behind ANY glass container". Their employees surely know how to make you feel stupid. Not everyone was a rude as the three I encountered, the gals cleaning tables and the employees working the kitchen were great. It would be nice to teach the others how to be kind and have proper customer service. You work in a populated area with tons of people. Get a new job if you're that grumpy. Well, I honestly love this restaurant but the one thing that honestly bothers me is they don't put cream cheese on your bagel when your in the car! I have 2 dogs so it doesn't make it very easy to spread cream cheese. Today we asked for them to spread the cream cheese in advanced and the guy replied, "Well then you would not have extra." Creamy tomato soup is the only thing giving this place two stars. The sandwiches were extremely bland.My "BLT" was nothing to write home about; soggy tomato, dry bread, weird wet turkey. The food was great, and ready on time! The location makes it a bit of a drive, and I wish it was closer to where I lived so I could go on my lunch break. They are consistently out of sour dough bread and most recently my daughter's side of bread was MOLDY! Ok, I eat at a lot of Panera's this was by far the best food. I ordered a chicken Thai salad no chicken and a broth bowl with edamame. The broth bowl was loaded with veggies and really hit the spot, although not quite hot enough. The salad was good and had the right portions of veggies and dressing. I was out in the Valley for some medical testing today, & Panera Bread was the closest place to eat. This one has a large drive thru, but I didn't really have anywhere else to be so I parked and went in. It was about 11:30 I think when I went in, not too crowded yet. I had time to stand at the register & decide on what to eat - I chose a bread bowl of broccoli cheddar soup with a side of chips, plus an ice water. After paying a very reasonable $6.08, I received a plastic cup for water & a buzzer. I found the water as an option in the soda dispenser, then chose a table. I'd only just connected to the Internet when my buzzer went off. The meal was very filling, tasty, and affordable, plus I got to enjoy it while checking Facebook. I'd definitely choose this again if I'm in the Valley. read more

If you are looking for healthy, delicious food then come here. I am allergic to pineapple and ordered a salad that normally has that on it. I asked for no pineapple and let them know it's an allergy issue. They were SO nice about it. Not one complaint and then they let me know they made my food specifically, washed everything before including their hands again and new gloves just to make sure I would be okay. The rapid pick up is a lifesaver be the I don't have to wait in the drive-thru. 99% of the time, my order is correct. If they do mess up something, it's always something small and they fix it right away no questions ask and they really do give you a free treat! One time I got all the way back to work and they forgot my chicken in my salad. For my trouble they gave me a free treat coupon and a coupon! I'm craving Panera right now! read more

Tonight was a very disappointing experience. The workers were messing around in the kitchen area, laughing and hardly focused on working. They were out of two of the items I ordered at the drive through (wasn't the problem). The issue was, the female worker on the headset was laughing about being out of the 2 items and the other workers apparently thought it was funny too because my daughter and I could hear them through the speaker. My best guess is a previous customer had asked for the same thing which lead to her particular response. I'm all for a good laugh, don't get me wrong, but honestly I will not come back to this particular Panera.
