Consistently good food fast. I like the healthy options Panera offers and the pick 2 meals. Soups, salads and sandwiches have all been fresh and flavorful. Love the order ahead and quick pickup. Panera sucks, use to work here, very unclean environment, the management is horrible, verbally abuses staff, has had MANY people quit due to their rudeness. Honestly, coming from back of house the place is very unclean. Take my word for it, i would never recommend panera to any of my close friends or family or anyone because of how gross the kitchen and line is. While the food was fine, the experience was not. The cashier was very friendly and nice. She had great suggestions and was awesome at her job! She was able to joke around and have a few laughs as my friend and I tried to figure out how their menu worked. After we ordered is when things went downhill. While I received my food at a normal time, my friend had to wait 20minutes and even at that I had to go up to the window and ask for her food. By the time she got her food mine was all cold. After a while goes by we realize that her coffee was never brought. When she asked about her coffee the girl in the back YELLS to the kitchen asking for"this ladies coffee that was supposed to go out forever ago". So while this maybe a healthier option, it is not a place I will be returning anytime soon. read more

I don't know what is happening at this particular location. I ordered to go and when I got home was missing two items. Panera has a reputation for double checking orders before they leave their restaurants but obviously that isn't happening at this particular location. Went to this Panera last night and bought two broccoli cheddar bread bowls and a Mac and cheese to go. I got home and my Mac and cheese wasn't even half way full. I paid almost $6 for not even 6 bites of Mac and cheese. On top of all of that my girlfriend and I both started throwing up after we ate the soups. I went to Panera last night with my Fiance. We made the mistake of going in the drive thru. The food wasn't that great and they also left stuff out on our order. The half order salads are a joke. The forgot my sandwich and they also didn't even put all of the toppings on my Fiances salad. I went back to get my food and had to wait again even though I called the store to let them know of their mistakes. They gave me a full sandwich but one half was the one they forgot and it was cold and disgusting. I didn't even eat it. They treat drive thru customers like 2nd class citizens here. Came in for a later dinner around 730. It wasn't very busy and there were many employees about. It took 25 mins to get our order and when it came out it wasn't like previous visits. My half a salad was half it's usual size. I asked to have the Leon's replenished and after waiting our entire visit it never happened (I asked server all times). The French baguette that comes with the meal looked as if it was baked half way through rising and was hard as a rock. They were some how out of bacon and avocado making our meals sad at best. Usually love this place. Today, I do not. Worst staff, young woman with terrible black haircut was so rude. No hellos, no how are you doing, no thank you, nothing. Got my order wrong, insinuated we didn't want drinks when we both did. And gave a nasty face when we ordered a bread bowl. That same young lady went around offering samples and skipped our table - not sure if that was intentional. When I asked if my food could be fixed or replace after it was served incorrect, they made me prove to them it was screwed up and only offered and additional sauce packet to make up for the mistake. My smoothie was also very gritty which makes me happy to know they use real fruit but disappointed they made it so poor. Will not be returning any time soon. Came in for my first time today. Food was good, customer service was not... walked and and stood in front of the counter for a good 20 seconds with the girl just staring at me, no greeting or anything. Informed her I've never been here and she said "ok". So I asked what's something good that's really popular and she says uh i don't know probably the blt sandwich... I say okay, what's that? What exactly is on it and what kind of bread. She rolls her eyes, taps on her screen and reads what's on it. Didn't sound like anything special so I asked about a couple more sandwiches, you could tell she didn't want to be there. I finally chose the Turkey Bacon Bravo and she says stares at me for a few more second and says what side.. i said oh sorry I didn't realize I get a side what are my options - she says soup, salad or chip.. At this point I didn't even want to ask her what kinds of soup, salad or Chips so I simply chose chips which she never asked what kind, I got regular Potato chips (which is fine). The sandwich was amazing! I will give this place another try because I was satisfied with the food but I think a greeting, some smiles and a little more communication will make you're customers a lot happier! read more

This place rocks, we have been to a few locations. The parking lot is full, and they have so many places to sit it's crazy. I would not give one star if I had the chance. So first I would like to say, I love Panera's bread and chicken noodle soup, however I decided to branch out and try the new bacon tomato grilled cheese. It was very underwhelming and kind of just thrown together. When my friend and I walked in, the cashier, while being very friendly and nice, looked very uncomfortable and awkward like he was brand new. He tried his best to help us but didn't seem to know how to do his job, but he was apologetic and I didn't have a problem with him at all. When my friend and I sat down, she got her food almost immediately but the girl who brought over her food was very rude when my friend asked if she could have the sauce she asked the cashier for. She said "What sauce?" in an unbelievably rude and snarky tone. My friend said the signature sauce - which is what it is called on your website - and she told her they didn't have a signature sauce. My friend then looked at me and the girl said that she would be back. When she came back, she put it on the table and said that it was called the bravo sauce, and without saying anything else, she walked away. I want to note, the sauce was barely halfway full. I then had to wait for about 10-12 minutes later than my friend for her food, despite ordering at the same exact time. When she brought my food out, she told me, "your sandwich has whatever you asked for, the tomatoes or something," and didn't sound very confident about the modifications I made. I had just asked for fresh tomatoes and avocado. Then every time she came out to bring someone else their food or wipe tables, she glared at us. My friend also made some modifications to her food but she did not receive them, despite paying for them. I will not be returning to the valley location as I had this horrible experience. I am an east coaster who is well familiar with Panera. The food here is usually above average. The bagels are all fantastic. I like the variety of healthy choices, and the bakery items make me want to break my diet. The decor is kind of hip, and this location has been busy since opening. My 1/2 chicken sandwich didn't even cover the bread- imagine my surprise when the picture of my sandwich was much different than what I really received! The chicken salad only covered 2/3 of the bread- my mistake. As if paying over $7.00 for a 1/2 sandwich entitles me to having enough chicken salad to at least cover the bottom layer of bread. Well. I know this is a fast food place but I was disturbed by my visit this time around. The guy at the counter who helped us was super nice and thorough. But the reason why I'm writing is because I had to get to the airport, and we realized it had been a bit since we'd ordered and sat down. There was almost no one in the restaurant (6 pm, Tuesday night). I went up with my number and asked "what's the ETA of number 49?" (Which we had been waiting for over 12 minutes, according to the screen. 12 minutes is a long time by casual dining sit-down restaurants, also). And the taller blondish girl back there says "some time" in a flippant way. What the hell! A simple "five minutes! Well bring it out as soon as it's ready" Would have been great. I would've been satisfied. I think she realized I wasn't happy w her response and she then says "I can give you some free cookies or pastries or something" or something?? I was like I already bought a damn cookie! Crappy customer service. Pretty sure they forgot to make our order. I work in food service myself and just found her attitude shitty. Here's some advice for her: treat each customer like this is their only day to eat out this month, and make it a good experience for them. Also there was like a pound of bacon bits on top of my salad and I had to take most of them off. I don't know if that was a peace offering, but those things aren't that good as it is haha. Anyway the feller who helped us at the counter and the guy who brought our food out were great, but that girl in the back with the sass is lacking and could use some additional training. Went to this Panera's , and what a disappointment. We drove 2 hours (hour each way), because my husband loves their Mac and Cheese. When getting home unloading his purchase he notices his two large Mac and Cheese was not in the bag, so call in to the customer service line , and she was nice offered a gift card. My understanding she replacing the purchase of 17.00 ,and giving a gift card. I wouldn't be so upset but that was the only reason why we went , and gasoline isn't cheap in a truck. When writing into the care line , and explaining the whole thing their comment was " we gave you a gift card to replace the Mac and Cheese on us". I wrote back with "how is this on you ,I paid for the Mac and Cheese", (and now I have to pay to go get it twice) ,and they have not responded back; that was last week. I even ask for a number to call to a supervisor, and no reply. A lady came in when we were there she was missing items , and the girl turned grabbed a bag we think it was ours. My husband did notice before we left she forgot our bread , and he ran back in and , she didn't apologize, but told him that's okay ( like it was his fault) they are disorganized, and the care line , you email into is a joke. Not happy with them at all, and may need to look for new bakery. I have done customers service for years , and I am pretty easy going , because I know mistakes can happen , but rued service doesn't need to. read more

I have never visited a Panera Bread before, so when we found out one was opening up right around the corner from our house we were excited to try it out. My Fiancee went on Friday and ordered three salads for her, her son, and his friend, but ended up eating the wrong one as they were not labeled or marked. That said, she had the classic chicken and remarked it was OK. Saturday morning we went in for breakfast, and she ordered the spinach and bacon souffle and I the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. We also purchased a cinnamon crunch scone. The scone and souffle were delivered first and were delicious, my fiancee raved about the souffle. I picked up my sandwich a couple minutes later and brought it back to our table, but after I took one bite, I realized they had given me a sausage and egg by mistake so I returned it to the kitchen pick up window and let them know what happened. This was where my visit went south. The employee apparently in charge of the kitchen offered no apology, or even really acknowledged me, she just yelled out "found it", to which another employee walked up and said "you found it, oh good". Then the first employee said "yeah, but it's not good". The second employee said "no? to which the first employee replied "he took a bite out of it". The implication I took away from this exchange was had I not taken the bite they would have sent the sandwich back out to someone else. A minute later the first employee set a new sandwich up on the counter and said "here you go", again with no apology offered. The sandwich was small, tasteless, dry, and had very little bacon in it. To be honest, Jack In The Box or Carl's Jr. have better breakfast sandwiches for a much lower price. But my Fiancee enjoyed her souffle so much she asked for a second one, and when I went back to the order counter I told them about the mistake on my order and they gave me the souffle for free (I mentioned it because the receipt said they would do this for incorrect orders). They were out of them by this time, so we had to wait about 15 minutes (it was a longer wait because the cashier forgot about us, and another employee had to remind her). A very mixed bag visit, but what worried me most was the fact they would resend out food that should have been remade instead. This happened to me a couple years ago at another restaurant and I have not gone back there since. We used to really love Panera. We have gone to many from CO to WA. This location was a regular stop when traveling from Montana. This last time was a disappointment though. No longer can you upgrade from a you pick two, to a half of one item and a regular size of another one without paying around $16. This brought dinner for my hubby and I to nearly $40 with one small soda. The broccoli cheddar soup has been changed, and isn't quite as good. They now give you a number and bring the food out to the table, and bus it for you, but I'd rather do that myself than pay double. Probably won't go back for some time. :/ read more
