I've been here before and it was a disaster but I try to give folks a try...Nope it's not getting as many better. I went back because they forgot my soup ..my sandwiches were sloppy today. I really wanted to like them but I'm gonna keep it movin

    Four cheese souffle.
    Ricky S.

Late breakfast , but they still had one four-cheese souffle left. Was warm and not hot, but very understandable being it was out for an extended period. Pecan braid was very good. I no longer get coffee at Panera's being the majority of the time, grounds were always present at the bottom of the cup. This particular Panera's has new employees so be prepared for a longer than usual wait, but am glad to see workers are starting to come back.

    Free food!!!

Super nice staff. After a looooong lunch meeting that I had to drag my daughter to, she got peckish again and went to get a cookie. The clerk just gave it to her, along with a pastry. No charge or anything!! She said 'it's on the house!' Isn't that crazy?! My kid is pretty cute, I must say, but free food?! That's unheard of! So thanks, Panera! This location has all the standard Panera fare you'd expect. It's bright and cheerful, but the cold drink dispenser area could use some cleaning and organization. And part of the roof was leaking, but that's probably just because it's so hot and humid that it's some liquid condensation. Other than that, no complaints.

    Doughy baguette. Horrid!
    Dayna R.

I stopped in to grab a soufflé at 10:15 and they were out. Website mentions breakfast is served until 11-disappointing. Hardly anything in the bakery case, for being late in the mornin--not much to pick from. Ordered a baguette to take home. It was flat and VERY doughy. I even asked the girl at counter if it didn't rise long enough. She said, "That' our regular baguette. I order them here frequently and this is not the usual. Horrible! It's my first time here since Pandemic began. Very disappointing--won't be back.

Some restaurants serve great food. Others make you feel like you've gone home…read more I've been chasing the perfect Cubano ever since I left Florida. I didn't grow up eating them--my family didn't have much money--but I discovered them later while exploring little neighborhood spots around Tampa and Ybor City. Somewhere along the way, the Cubano became my sandwich. So when I ordered a Cubano, a bag of chips, and a Mexican Coke from Thompson Bros Cubanos, I expected a good lunch. Instead, I got a taste of home. The sandwich was everything a Cubano should be. The pork was tender, the ham and Swiss were perfectly balanced, the mustard and pickles added just the right bite, and most importantly, the bread was authentic. If you've ever had a real Tampa Cubano, you know the bread is what makes it. Crisp on the outside, soft inside, and sturdy enough to hold everything together without getting in the way. Talking with owner Clint Thompson made the experience even better. He grew up in Tampa and has his Cuban bread shipped from La Segunda Bakery in Ybor City--the same bakery that's been making Cuban bread since 1915. That isn't marketing; it's respect for the tradition. Clint greeted me like an old friend, and we spent time talking about Florida, food, and his plans to open a full Florida-inspired restaurant. After hearing his vision, I can honestly say it's one of the restaurants I'm most excited to see become a reality. If you've never had an authentic Tampa-style Cubano, this is the place to start. And if you're someone who misses Florida the way I do, don't be surprised if the first bite transports you back there. This wasn't just one of the best sandwiches I've had in Kansas City--it reminded me why I fell in love with Cubanos in the first place.

The rice and beans were some of the best I've had, and the Cuban was top notch. I really liked the bread, it was toasty but not dry. The service was quick and friendly, can't wait to have another one sometime!
