A smashed croissant sandwich, I added some upgrades sandwich was almost $10 and very small
    Verloren S.

ordered a croissant sandwich added some ham for $2.29. It already had bacon on it added some tomatoes and some sweet red peppers for free. When I received the sandwich, it looked like somebody had sat on. It definitely doesn't look like nothing on the picture.

You pick two: Fuji apple salad and autumn squash soup with baguette
    Daisy S.

Panera is my go-to during the fall season because of their autumn squash soup! I find every meal at Panera is consistent and filling. I tend to eat at this location with my coworkers a lot since their menu has something for everyone. This location is nice and big but still has a cozy vibe. You can order at the register or on a touch pad. The staff was friendly and efficient. My meal came out super fast! This time around I ordered their you pick two deal with the Fuji apple salad and the autumn squash soup with a baguette. I'm a sucker for their baguette. It's always so pillowy soft with a nice crispy exterior. Per usual, my meal was delicious!

The staff here is awesome super friendly and attentive. Food is fresh and made as ordered. The dining room has various size tables and is very spacious, it is very quiet and can catch up on work here early in the morning. Just wished there was a Panera closer to home.

The old picture of the asiago bagel, still on Panera's website. Totally misleading.

When I picked up the asiago bagel, it did not look anything like the picture on the website. I asked the cashier and he said Panera changed it. There is only cheese in the middle now. It was gross. The old version was way better and I'm sad to see it gone. Will go somewhere else for asiago bagels.

3.8 stars! This location delivers exactly what i expect from a panera. Ive ordered both pick-up and dine-in. Food quality has been consistent and love that each food item's nutritional values are available to be viewed. Staff always greet me and the place is clean.

Reviewing this location for a Door Dash Order and I got the Mac & Cheese Bread bowl and a brownie. It's all right, though I just prefer the soups

"You pick two" deal. I chose half tuna sandwich and broccoli cheese soup.
    Sue S.

IMHO I've always liked Panera Bread. This visit I had to take away a star rating. I ordered the U pic 2 special; My choice of a 1/2 tuna sandwich and a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. If you look at the picture I posted, you can barely see any tuna in the sandwich. I was disappointed in the small amount of tuna but the sandwich was still tasty. The Broccoli cheddar soup was good but not hot, only lukewarm. My friend's sandwich was missing arugula, so she brought it back. They made the correct sandwich and gave her a chocolate chip cookie treat for her trouble. Service was friendly and helpful as always. Thank you Daisy! Will I go back? Of course.

    Pre-cut marks on a "baguette"
    Heying D.

Panera is always quite disappointing to me. I ordered a baguette online and when I opened it at home, I had to realize that it had pre-cut marks on it. Very disappointing and not inviting for my dinner plans. Also, I am asking myself whether these marks are used as serving size in restaurants - they were all of different sizes... Drinks are ok. Bathroom was clean. My online order of a fountain drink and a baguette took forever and they might have forgotten about it as I had to ask after waiting for 20mins.

    Croissant and coffee

Breakfast at Panera is simple. Just some baked goods and coffee and not even fancy coffee. The fanciest it gets is hazelnut flavor. Creamers are just half and half or milk. The pastries are delicious here. The croissant is so flaky and the chocolate melts in your mouth. It's seems like the baked good have shrunk tho but it's still delicious. Lunchtime is a different story.

The shop is a standard deli with a few tables inside. The service is fast and friendly, and the ingredients are fresh. The best part about these sandwiches, though, is that their sourdough has a crunchy exterior. The sourdough I've experienced at other sandwich locations tends to have a softer outside, which leads me to typically offering Dutch crunch instead. At West Coast Sourdough, though, their sourdough is just as crunchy as a Dutch crunch elsewhere, giving me both the texture and flavor profile I desire. Our go-to order is the clam chowder with a sourdough bread bowl, which is hands down the best. I recommend getting the bread bowl on the side so you can enjoy the bread and chowder together. The clam chowder is my favorite, perfectly creamy with generous chunks of clams and potatoes. The bread bowl is the highlight, fluffy and crispy at the same time. Yum!

Portions are huge and one sandwich is plentiful which can be easily shared among two people for sure. Nowadays, the experiences aren't the same anymore and perhaps, it's been under new people management or something. It's been lacking some logistics and sometimes, it's difficult to hear the order being called out while lots of customers are inside. I told the front staffs that I wanted my portobello chicken sandwich $15.99 and the watermelon beverage $7.99 for here/dine-in. I even left them over $3.50 tips here. While everyone else picked up their orders very fast, mine was stuck somewhere in between others. They all got table numbers except me. I even asked if I needed a table number since I was planning to dine-in, but nobody answered or wanted to respond. They were too busy preparing sandwiches. Wait time to receive order was a bit over 15 minutes. I ended up standing around waiting and waiting, thinking about why I even tipped the place when my anxiety levels were escalating. Without a table number, how would they even know which table outside to deliver my orders to? Portobello chicken sandwich was very good though. Ingredients are full. Ciabatta bread was huge. This thick sandwich can definitely feed two people. Watermelon beverage tasted good too. Tables weren't all wiped down outside, but I can see the few employees hustling and bustling. It's still a strange feeling to not have a table number assigned to me while others did have one. Overall, sandwiches are still good and portions are generous. People love coming here. I think the staffs need more management briefing. They are all hardworking, but the front counter service leaves an impression and feeling about the overall experiences here.

It's nice to see owners work at times and treat their customers so genuinely! So thank you, Chris! The store is honestly decorated so well. There's details everywhere on the wall, and it's all dedicated to San Jose culture and first responders. The ambiance felt local and cool. Now for the food, my husband ordered the Build Your Own Sub with Pastrami and it was delicious! I ordered their new and off the menu French Dip sub with aus ju and IT WAS SO GOOD. Nothing to brag about, don't let the sando sit around. Make sure you finish it all at once or it will get soggy... may be its because of the oil and vinegar dressing I opted for? Not sure... The wheat bread is a tad too sweet for my liking and the white bread is just plain and flavorless. I do wish they provided options like Sourdough or Dutch Crunch, which also happen to be healthier for you. I wanted to complain that they were expensive but then realized that's how it is everywhere now. That food inflation is no joke... I'd stop by if nothing was around.
