I love pan pan. But there was raw chicken on my sandwich :/ other than that the food was good, but it's kind of unsettling to finish the rest after seeing that. Also we came 3 hours before close and they had already closed most of their dining room??? Which is weird because why? Ik y'all wanna pre-close but the best part of Panera is the ambiance of a cozy space, and you blocked the best part of the restaurant off. The rest of the seating is right in front of the employees which was kind of uncomfortable because there weren't a lot of people in there. They continually get my order wrong very easy order.I pointed it out to the manager and the same things continue to happen. Their suggestion is I check my bag before I leave. This is such a crap Panera and honestly I think I'm done with this establishment period. I've been to several bad ones, but this location is defiantly the worst. Twice my order was wrong and missing ingredients and I said nothing. Third time is a charm! I ordered a turkey and cheddar and they give me 2 small pieces of turkey and a slice of lettuce on the wrong bread for $10. I flipped out and demanded a refund. Also, the employees here are very rude here about simple requests such as a mayonnaise packet. If you don't want people to ask for these things, leave them out! Ordered off of the catering menu today for a work event. I ordered a mac and chesse and a soup. They were only a quart each! It does not say that on the website- nor will that feed 15 people. I'm not usually the biggest fan of Panera Bread. It just doesn't equate to a filling meal for the price you pay. But when your work meeting ends up being here, you have no other choice but eat what you have in front of you. For a meeting space it is pretty decent. There is a separate room off from the main dining area that allows for small gatherings. It is kind of tucked away so there is almost a guarantee for privacy. As for the food, I went with the pick two. Sandwich and soup, it did the trick for the time being, but like I said, I ended up hungry soon thereafter. I opted for the bowl of broccoli cheddar soup and half of a roasted turkey avocado BLT. The sandwich did taste good it was a good grouping. Also you can never go wrong with broccoli cheddar soup. The staff could have been a little more kind maybe. We were kind of chastised for using the room, even though it was set up ahead of time. It's no secret that I love me some Panera. This location is no exception. It's large, well maintained, and well staffed. I had no problems placing my order and it was ready quickly. When I visited they were using pagers to signal guests that the food was ready, which I was fine with as I ended up finding a quiet table in a back corner of the restaurant (so out of earshot if they were shouting names). Since I had just finished a paddle at Kayak Pittsburgh, I was READY for some comfort food. Panera's tomato soup is always good; plus it was paired with a pretty good sized baguette, which made my day! For my protein I had one of the hot steak sandwiches, which was also pretty good. Nice and hot sandwich contents, served between perfectly toasted bread slices. Two thumbs up from this sandwich lover! All in all, this Panera met my expectations as a fan of the chain. Went there the other day. Ordered a half sandwich and salad. I asked for wheat bread and the employee said they only have white bread. You're a bakery for goodness sake. I stopped in on a Saturday morning and there were about 10 people in the restaurant. And one person ahead of me waiting for their order. I ordered two 3 drinks and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. It took 10 minutes for them to make two of my drinks then another 10 to make the 3rd and toast the bagel. Once I received the bagel it had a cream cheese packet with it. They didn't even take the time to put it on the bagel. And the bagel had been sitting out of the toaster because it was cold. I would understand if they were short staffed but there were more people working than there were customers. I always stay away just long enough to forget how horribly this place is run. New look with a recent makeover and they'd managed to make it less efficient, who would've thought that was possible? Sunday morning and there's ONE person working the front counter! We order and I order my bagel toasted and my wife doesn't want hers toasted. Guess what that means? We have to pick them up in 2 separate places. One where you order in the front of the store, and the toasted one in the back of the store. The interior is very nice , incredibly spacious and decorated in warm earth tones and caramel hues and they have free wifi. I noticed that a lot of the booths were occupied by teeny boppers that appeared just to be chillen as if they were in a public library. I've always had great experiences here. I was in on a Saturday in September at around 7:30am with my elderly grandmother and she is in a wheelchair. The girl who was working in the bakery saw us approaching the doors and ran over to help us with by holding the doors. Then she ran back, took our order (while being THE sweetest person I've ever met) and then helped us by carrying our trays over to our table. This isn't a full service place so she didn't have to do this, but she did. I now bring my grandmother at least 2 times a month because not everywhere cares, and just this small bit of kindness made my grandmothers and my day. read more

OK, this is a chain, but it's a good choice for food that is predictable and good quality. I go here often and I'm never disappointed. The menu changes a bit daily, I'm always happy to see their Black Bean Soup or the Tomato Soup. Both are yummy choices. Can't go wrong with any of the salads, although you might want to ask for the dressing on the side. I assumed they served the dressing in pre-measured amounts but sometimes there is too much... other times too little; it's better to add it to your own taste. My pet peeve about Panara is the 'table hogs' that seem to be ubiquitous at places with internet. They address this by limiting internet to an hour, but some folks must find their way around this as they hijack a booth and sit there all day with an empty coffee cup on the table and their laptop ablaze. I want to give credit to the hard working staff at this place and note that the young girls working at the front were helpful and great. However the reason for this negative review is in regard to the manager on duty who was preparing the food when I ordered breakfast sandwiches. First off he was rude and distracted and when I asked a simple question about the rest of my order he barked at me that sandwiches and pastries are picked up at two different locations. Without being informed by either a written sign or verbalization how the heck are customers to know? Also I got my food to go and left. Upon arriving at my location I discovered that one of the sandwiches was burnt to a crisp and it had paper in it melted into the cheese. On what planet is it ok to wrap this up and give it to a customer to eat?!?!? Unfortunately I did not take it back based on being on the road. This is in my neighborhood and a place I frequent in order to work and study. But there are other coffee shops with better service and professional staff.
