Two days ago I came into the Bakery and I ordered a Croque Monsuier and a Latte. I found out later the coffee machine was broken. It took 3 staff and 15 minutes to get a refund. The Croquer Monsieur tasted nothing like the original. I struggled to eat it. And, it's overpriced. They were stingy with the ham and sauce which had an onion flavor. Today I came back, although I'm not sure why, because I found out later my ordered bagel was sold out. Placing an order on a machine is more efficient as long as there are no problems. Ordered a dozen bagels with tubs of cream cheese. When I got home, I saw there were only 10 bagels and they didn't follow the order so the cinnamon crunch bagels were missing... literally the best bagel of the bunch (3 of them) were not there. WATERED DOWN CREAMY CHICKEN AND WILD RICE SOUP. It was obvious that the soup was watered down. I went to the service countered and showed the soup was watery and no rice. They said "it had rice." A 1 rating is too good for my experience at this location. I placed an order online for box of mini scones and a bagel. I received an email that it was ready but when I arrived was told they didn't have the mini scones and offered a substitution, which I didn't want. When I said I would still take the bagel they said, what bagel? So, I said forget it. When I got home I called the manager to make sure I would receive a refund and instead of apologizing for their screw up he gave me a hard time and said I'd only receive a refund for the bagel because I could have accepted the substitution! I asked if they had sweet red peppers was told yes they insisted were red chili peppers hot! The put regular lettuce then arugula on top then there topping with the Red Hot Chili Peppers covered the top! It was not edible! Mind you, he has short brown hair and I have long black hair, it could not have been from us. Absolutely disgusting. Another time, I ordered a chicken dish and my stomach was cramping nonstop after I ate it. Do not get me started on how going to the bathroom went (TERRIBLE). She asked me if we were staying and then handed me a muffin in a bag that she twisted (crushed) in the bag. The place is filthy. The covers on the chairs are dirtier than a petri dish. Horrible customer service and zero care to verify that a food delivery was actually correct before leaving the store. Food was delivered through Uber eats. The delivery was fine. The food was horrible. They managed to miss every single order note, for all three sandwiches. They gladly took the money and sent the wrong sizes and none of the add ons that were requested and paid for. Tried calling the restaurant directly, and after calling 5 separate times, where no one answered, I contacted Uber. This was supposed to be a calm easy dinner after a family member was on the hospital, instead it turned into drawn out drama. I walked in to this business and had no idea what I wanted the cashiers were useless! If you order on the computer, you must pay with a card. No one explains anything to you, very unorganized! When you walk in the cashier should explain things a little so you don't stand there holding other people up that have been there before. I tried to order soup and sandwich , sandwich came up "sold out!!!!" Again , no one explains anything. Cashier finally said she could do my order after I told her what happened. I stopped at this location for a drink and to use the restroom. When I asked the cashier if they had any gf soups today, without looking at what they had in rotation she said no. I used to work at Panera, so I could visibly see they had some available, but didn't want to push it further. I got a green tea and the employee left the open container of the hibiscus tea to be poured, on the ground- with no lid! This is food safety 101. I visit this Panera several times a week because I signed up for the unlimited sip club and it is definitely worth the cost. However, at the Palm Coast location there are many errors either in the food order itself or the transaction which is disappointing. We like the pastries yet feel they are overpriced. Since prices have gone up everywhere so understandable, but limits what we buy. For instance the price of the value duets online in Knoxville TN is $6.99 in Palm Coast its $8.99. Basically the living costs in these areas are comparable so why is Palm Coast so much more?! I hope Panera changes their special drinks soon. Really tired of the charged lemonades. I would rather see more fruit fusion teas for a refreshing drink but that's not this location's fault. Some of the new menu items were good. I did discover if ordering online you can customize your sandwiches and add more veggies as sometimes I believe the sandwiches are lacking in these items. I rarely go inside but this location now uses kiosk ordering but it doesn't work like the ones in Knoxville. You still need to wait for them to hand you your cup or to give you discounts like the 50% off pastries from 5-7 pm. The restaurant is pleasant and a place to use your computer. I have in the past. It is clean. I just feel it needs customer service improvements so maybe more training or supervision. read more

I LOVE Panera. I can order a Frontega Chicken and get tender chicken and a panini that isn't soggy. I love the order ahead and rapid pick up features. But I do not LOVE this Panera. This is our third disappointing order. One had an item missing...apparently the bag was placed in the pick up area before it was done. The sandwiches are literally tossed together haphazardly. This visit was especially disappointing. My husband and I are recovering from pneumonia. So planning ahead we got lunch and 6 bagels for dinner. My frontega chicken had chicken that tasted like it had been microwaved too long and the bottom half of my panini was soggy... like mush! And the cheese was nowhere near melted. My husband Turkey Bacon Ranch resembled a salad more than a sandwich. This was all placed in a smaller bag that was placed in a larger bag that had the bagels The bagels: 6 bagels, sliced in half not toasted.... different varieties. There were 6. They were sliced in half and THROWN into a large bag. And then another bag placed on top of them with no sanitary barrier....do you know how bags are stored in warehouses??? Placed a catering order with the team the night before for some breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffee. Autumn and her team was wonderful in getting everything together for prompt pick up at 6:30am when they opened. Everything was neatly organized in the bags with utensils, plates, napkins and all essentials to make serving breakfast so wonderfully appreciated. Highly recommend this location for catering orders. Not only is the food excellent but the customer service is spot on. Side note; Would highly recommend the egg white and avocado breakfast sandwich on Asiago cheese bagel (amazing) with the Greek yogurt & granola parfait (so fresh) and you can't go wrong with the chocolate crossings. Panera has been a "go to" lunch spot for us at home, so we stopped here on our way south. Well maintained and well staffed location. We ordered the Quinoa bowls, but were surprised when we saw the broth in the bowls. "It's the Umami Sauce" the manager explained. When we said we didn't expect nor want that, she immediately offered to change it! She was apologetic and helpful at the same time. She had alternate bowls prepared and brought them to us!
