When we received our order, we were missing one of the 12-count nuggets, and the mac and cheese didn't have the bacon crumbles we ordered. I completely understand that mistakes happen, and that's not why I'm upset. What bothered me was what happened when we went back to the drive-thru window. The employee at the window said, "Who gets bacon on their mac and cheese?" It came across as though he was mocking our order. Whether he thought we couldn't hear him or not, it was rude and unprofessional. After all, adding bacon is an option on the menu, so there was no reason to make a comment about our food choice. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the employee's name, but he appeared to be a very tall, brunet male who looked to be around 16/17 years old. After bringing the missing items to their attention, we did receive the missing nuggets. However, instead of the bacon crumbles we originally ordered, we were given bacon strips for the mac and cheese. While that wasn't a major issue, it added to this disappointing experience. I've always had great experiences at Chick-fil-A, which is why this interaction was so surprising and disappointing. I do want to mention that there was a man who appeared to be a manager who corrected another young employee while we were there, and I appreciated seeing that level of leadership. However, the employee who made the comment about our order was never corrected, at least not while we were present.
