And once you do, you realize pretty quickly why people keep coming back. I've been here more times than I can count, and somehow it still feels like a great find every single time. The food is legit. Not just something to go along with a drink, but something you actually look forward to. That Dagwood wrap in the photo... stacked, fresh, and exactly what you want when you sit down and take a breath for a bit. Simple, done right. And the flights... always the move. They're thoughtfully crafted, and what really stands out is how much intention is behind everything they're doing. There's a creativity here that goes beyond just what's on the board. You can feel it in how the beers are built and how they're meant to be experienced. It gives you something a little different every time without ever feeling forced. But what really makes this place what it is... it's the feel. I'm not from here, and not once have I ever felt like an outsider. It's one of those places that just pulls you in. The beers were rimmed with different topping depending on the beer. Idk about yall but I appreciate and love a good beer with Tajín on the rim so imagine when I saw one with fruity pebbles ! The beer was good and the vibe was all locals on the karaoke night we visited. They have a kitchen with tasty choices. The location is in a strip mall, so it would be easy to miss if you're not paying attention. My only grip was that they made a point of telling us they would only give 2 samples (these really were small samples, so it's not like you're getting a free beer via sampling). No one waited on us. It was weird. Like, completely ignoring us for other customers that were friends of theirs. Never went back.

It just so happened that JR the brewer was working the bar this am!! Amazing flight+ of beers ranging from Mexican Lager (Hold my Sombrero!) to Marzen (Prancing Pony!) and all were delish! Even my non-beer drinking hubby had to take some Uni-Toots (Fruity Pebbles) hefe in a crowler to have later at home! Stopped by for some beers on a Sunday afternoon and was the most pleasantly surprised after driving up to a sleep strip of offices. My favorite beers were the fruity pebbles and blueberry beers, but all the beers we tried were super flavorful. It has a very laidback vibe inside and the bartender was super nice and attentive. Our group got a round of hot dogs and for my first Chicago dog I enjoyed it very much! We will 100% be back next time we're in the area. read more

When it comes to breweries, I like to review on certain attributes not considered here or elsewhere (well, maybe one place) - but the point is, I like to consider the location's vibe, quality, service, and selection, and if applicable it's food.. Of all the stops on my weekend trip north of where I live to visit random breweries, this was the last stop and it was by far the best... Located off of US1 and in a non-descript commercial, outdoor mall, this place is totally unassuming on the outside and it has so much great character inside. The vibe was lively and friendly as not only were the 'tender's friendly, but the patrons as well. Beer quality was top-notch, and service was by and far the best I experienced on this day - it was a breath of fresh air. Though we did not have food, they showed us the food menu and it would definitely be worth a stop to try it out. Food was great, service exceptional, ambiance was very nice. My friend and I got there early, around 5. It wasn't very busy at that time but had started filling up before we left. They brew their own beer. I had the lager, it was very good. I had the King Louie XIV (I could have the name wrong but it is close),.it was amazing. My friend had the gyro and that was also very good. We got the creme brulee cheesecake and lemon mascapone cake to go. Both were very good. Service was amazing. This is a brewing company, but since we don't drink alcohol, we just got food. I am happy to say the food was good. I got a capri panini which was lightly browned to perfection and delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh. My husband got the King Louis XIV which was a version of a philly cheesesteak with au jus. He enjoyed it very much. They have various hot dogs on the menu, but they are only served at certain times, much to my husband's dismay. Also, they don't serve any diet soda. This is a great find! From the outside it may not look like much, but from the second you step inside the atmosphere is inviting. The bartenders are great. The Pickel Flight was inspired! The Chicago Dog was the best hot dog I'd ever had. We ordered a beer flight, and they do it right - each beer in the right small glass for the type of beer, and clearly labeled. Adding the the atmosphere were other guests that were fun and interesting to chat with. This place attracts fun people to hang out with. My wife and I enjoyed our visiit. As a couple people from out of town, we love breweries. It's not unusual for us to try out the local brewery scenes when we visit a new town, and Typsy Unicorn was the closest to where we're staying. Not only was the hummus delicious, but the beer and seltzers were beyond what we expected from a small brewery in a tiny town. My husband really enjoyed the beers he tried, and I was pleasantly surprised with the seltzer (some breweries butcher them. Typsy Unicorn definitely did it justice). Beyond the faire, I will say the brewery sits in a strange strip mall, but don't let that fool you. The inside is cute, with comfy couches, a beautifully epoxied bar and fun unicorn glitter all over the floor.
