How great was this fine close to 95, perfect for our family heading back from vacation and the keys. Good Hardie food, in a clean dining room and hundreds of TV screen showing all sorts of sports. I was a little put off by the low reviews, and I don't know what that is about. But they have a big menu that has things like meatloaf and burgers and chicken, wings, and beer, beer, beer, beer. . But what you really wanna hear about is the food: Fries - crisp, hot and good compliment to the burgers. Wings - mild to hot, with cool flavors like teriyaki, honey garlic and sweet chili. Sweet Chili Wings- the best of the wing flavors we tried. Cheeseburger- really good. Black and Blue Burger - good burger choice, which my wife got with hot sauce. No dessert, so I cannot comment on that. This is a bar and grill with an emphasis on beer, and they do it well. The restaurant is enormous with booths, hightops and low tops, clearly they could hold 5x's the number of diners when we were there. Fun date spot. Good bro spot to watch sports. Good family spot.

Food was yummy but portions were small IMO. I never finish an entire dish, I prefer leftovers for a late night snack, however this time I did and was still a little hungry. Ended up eating part of the buttered sub roll that didn't have any of my bf's chicken cheesesteak on it and used that to soak up some of the yummy Alfredo and fill up a little more. His cheesesteak needed half of the roll, it wasn't full of meat at all. Overall, food was delish, had great service, seated quickly, games on for bf, band playing for me. Tons of stuff to do outside. Literally would only change the portions of offer bread or a soup/salad as a side perhaps with the pasta? The chicken cheesesteak definitely needed more meat though. Not even half full on roll. Nice sized menu and great service!

Finally stopped at half wall for beer! It's on the way to new Smyrna beach and sometimes it's hard to stop on the way but this time I needed gas and we could not check in to our air bnb til 4pm. Good thing half wall opens at 1130! They opened right on time. A couple cars of folks were waiting to get in. Some sat inside, some sat outside, some had beer at the bar and some just came for lunch. I was surprised to see brew tanks inside! Cool! They also had a great counter full of merch- shirts hats etc. We sat at the bar and Aria was our bartender. She was super nice and very attentive. An old man came and sat next to us and had a huge, delicious looking burger. Wow. Three guys down the bar had a couple beers and watched football. We went for flights. I had the dark and stormy flight. Yum! My date had the half wall brewery flight where you can choose your four beers. Everything was awesome. I started betting online on the live horse racing in Indiana. Won a couple bucks. We debated on food but decided to get more beee to go. We ordered a few cans out of the cooler, paid our bill, and went to the beach. Great stop. Loved their beers. Lots of selection. Folks having a good time on the back patio where they have live music sometimes. Bathrooms clean. Plenty of parking. Food looked great. Aria was awesome.

Rehearsal dinner on private back patio.

We had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here and are beyond grateful for The Half Wall Brewery. I was skeptical to start, as we looked at so many locations that were "fancier" with over the top menus, decor and PRICES but The Half Wall came thru in every way!!!! Event planner/manager Lauren was easy to work with, responsive and accommodating in every way! Our dedicated server Tyler did an amazing job of taking care of our large group of 30+ and handling it all on his own. The food was delicious, an upgrade from typical "bar food". We were able to use the items on their menu to create our own personalized menu. The GM Chris was kind and introduced himself to us and offered help. The location was beautiful. Outdoor social area with chairs and games, a private event space with a stage, and private entrance to back bar/event space. Anyone looking for a location to do an event- don't pay the outrageous event fees at other locations. The Half Wall was perfect! Thank you!

Tipsy Unicorn is one of those spots you don't just stumble into... you find it. And once you do, you realize pretty quickly why people keep coming back. I've been here more times than I can count, and somehow it still feels like a great find every single time. The food is legit. Not just something to go along with a drink, but something you actually look forward to. That Dagwood wrap in the photo... stacked, fresh, and exactly what you want when you sit down and take a breath for a bit. Simple, done right. And the flights... always the move. They're thoughtfully crafted, and what really stands out is how much intention is behind everything they're doing. There's a creativity here that goes beyond just what's on the board. You can feel it in how the beers are built and how they're meant to be experienced. It gives you something a little different every time without ever feeling forced. But what really makes this place what it is... it's the feel. I'm not from here, and not once have I ever felt like an outsider. It's one of those places that just pulls you in. Comfortable, easy, and genuinely welcoming in a way that's hard to fake. And the people... they want you to feel at home. And they absolutely deliver on that. I've posted about this place more times than I probably should have already, and here I am again. That probably tells you everything you need to know. Get off the interstate. Go find it. Support local when you can. It matters. This is one of those spots.

The vibe here was decidedly empty. I wanted to try this place because it only has 16 reviews,…read morewhile its sister/parent place is so successful. It seems this place was a bar before and Fletcher's took it over without a remodel. This is leading to confusion for the servers/bartenders because they train at the original bar and then come here to work. Everything is in a different place. This huge place is probably perfect for St. Patrick's Day crowds. But despite the Daytona 500 and Bike Week being days away, I counted 6 people there. Another server joined around 6pm just as a family came in to dine. I hesitated to give this place only 3 stars because the food and beer were surprisingly good. We cautiously ordered the tater tots to check out the quality of cooking and the cleanliness of the fryer. Even though they probably don't make the tater tots (they were exactly like Ore-Ida) these were as perfect as it gets. They were cooked exactly right and I love my tots. They were crispy on the outside, not dry inside and you could tell the oil was clean and the fryer was at the right temperature. I wanted to try the Fletcher's Hefeweizen but it was out. There were 3 beers out of ~10 that were out. I got Blue Moon instead. Hubby got the Hazy IPA. Both beers were very good and fresh, chilled satisfyingly cold.I was given an orange in my Blue Moon without asking, always a good sign. With our confidence bolstered, we split the fish and chips. I expected the fish filet to be thicker, but realized this was haddock and not cod. The fish was fresh and the coating was cornmeal-based, not fluffy but nicely crunchy and tasty. The chips were just as they should be. Good dish, well-executed. Come to Fletcher's Pub and Brewery! More people would give it more of a party vibe, enhancing the already great food and beer experience.

FUN FACT: Dirty Oar Beer Company is one of two breweries located in Historic Cocoa Village. Also,…read moreit is one of nine breweries located on the Space Coast (Brevard County). With quite a small selection spread out across a large county, all the breweries have the opportunity to be unique. But for Dirty Oar Beer Company (which I will shorthand to simply the Dirty Oar), they need to be different from their neighbors, Bugnutty Brewing Company. So did Dirty Oar accomplish the aforementioned "challenge?" Well yes and no depending on what it is you are looking for. Located on the north side of Historic Cocoa Village - which is the south side of King St./US-520, Dirty Oar is a large aquamarine blue building heralding a beautiful mural of birds and an octopus. There is a back entrance where their biergarten is located and a front entrance which i will consider their storefront. Parking is a bit tight, but may be accommodating enough as Dirty Oar is not as rambunctious as their neighbors, Bugnutty, are. My friends, Charles the Grey a.k.a. Roadie X and Patrick joined me today as we enjoyed brews and food in their taproom. The area is kind of small compared to other taprooms, but maybe it is because the biergarten is much bigger for overflow accomodation. There are games for people to play, in which my friends enjoyed a game that was kind of like either/or, and it was fun. Not very intelligent, but whatever. This is where things can be a hit or miss. Maybe it is me, but the flight of "milkshake" beers did not impress me at all. If I am going to drink anything "milkshake flavored", I expect to taste said milkshake flavors. They tasted okay for beers, and maybe that is being more lenient as it was not what I was hoping for. Not bad, but definitely not a "milkshake." Food was delicious, but it comes from a food truck parked next to the biergarten. The grilled cheese was good and packed flavor into something simple, but the Frito pie: exquisite. To be fair, anyone that messes up a Frito pie doesn't deserve to cook anything. Overall, Dirty Oar was a-okay for an initial visit. Will I be back here? Of course, especially if I want a more personal time with friends, family, or a date. But will I go out of my way to go here compared to other breweries, probably not. Still, an a-okay establishment that I suggest visiting at least once. On a sidenote, Dirty Oar is one of the breweries that makes up the Launches & Lagers II Tour in Brevard. It is also a location in the Untappd App.
