Ranch bacon salad-ish so sad total rip off

I can't believe it. I just went to Panera and got a large iced tea a salad and a bowl of chili and it cost me $29. The salad had like three of cheese, a tiny bit of bacon and two tiny little ranch dressing stuck inside it. It was like the smallest dinner salad I ever saw the chili was good, but it felt like it was in the pot all day.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted immediately and the workers were really pleasant. I ordered the pick two with the chipotle chicken avocado melt and broccoli cheddar soup with a bag of chips. I love the focaccia bread in the sandwich! Both were really good but I felt like it was on the pricier side for what you get. I don't think you can go wrong with Panera though, lots of choices and their pastries looked tasty! Wish I took a baked good to go. This is a great spot for a lunch that is quick and not too heavy.

These people are out of their mind. The prices for the portion sizes are ridiculous. Won't be back.

I am done with Panera. They are out of their minds charging 35.00 for their small portions. Their food tastes good but their prices are insane now. 11.39 for a small bowl of mac n cheese. No more. Good luck.

I wish I got a picture of my food. I got the French onion soup ( wry good!) and a Frontega half sandwich. My Friend got the Turkey sandwich and Turkey chili. The chili was hot and flavorful. My French onion was very tasty. The Frontega I added bacon and avocado which made it that much better. Definitely will go back.

Staff was quick and friendly. But Panera is wrong to put a Lettuce blend on a toasted Caprese Sandwich. That's just cheep and gross! Wilted lettuce ruins the sandwich.

Always check your takeout order before driving away. 9 times out of 10 it will be wrong. This has been the case for years.

Cold soup and bland sandwiches. Asked for our soup heated up and gave us half as much and it was even colder than before. Not impressed.

Sidewalk's BEC/EC bagel sandwiches are like back home!! The best I've had in the PNW. We've been coming for years and plan to continue - when we have visitors from out of town we bring them here. Not just for the breakfast sandwiches but the rest of the menu is outstanding. I don't want to leave a bad review because this place is great and I'm hoping it can be fixed but I can't find contact info other than a phone # (I called and conveyed this too) and did want to reach out and let the owners know: over the past few weeks we've ordered BEC/EC bagels on two separate occasions and there has been a noticeable decrease in the bagel quality. Idk if there is a change in recipe or supplier or process, but the whole family agrees there is something off. The bagels are too soft and fall apart and the flavor is weird - almost like a weird bun instead of a bagel... we hope that can get fixed!! I'm happy to delete this once the owners see it! We really love coming here and want Sidewalk to do well!

The restaurant is easy to find, located in a plaza with other businesses, so there's plenty of parking available. I also like that their hours are posted in military time; it's a small detail, but it removes any confusion about opening and closing times. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it feels comfortable and welcoming. We arrived around 17:00 on a Wednesday and were seated quickly. Service was friendly from start to finish--menus were brought promptly, and we were asked about drinks right away (water was perfect for us). Throughout the meal, the staff was attentive without being intrusive, refilling our water and clearing dishes at just the right times. We started with the agedashi tofu to share. The broth was flavorful and the tofu was prepared well, with that soft, gooey, gelatinous consistency. While it wasn't quite my personal preference (I tend to favor a crispier texture), it was still tasty and likely ideal for those who enjoy it that way. For our main dishes, my son ordered the tonkatsu corn ramen, and I had the black garlic ramen (without bean sprouts--personal preference). This was our first ramen spot since moving to Washington, and it genuinely reminded us of a favorite place we used to visit in Sacramento. The broth was rich, creamy, and deeply savory--absolutely delicious. I especially liked that the ramen was served with a ladle instead of a standard soup spoon, which made it easier to sip more of the broth. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not too firm, not too soft--and paired really well with the toppings. My son even commented on the generous portion of noodles, which I joked was exactly what we signed up for when ordering ramen! We both finished our bowls feeling completely satisfied. The chashu and egg were highlights for me--I took my time consuming them. My only small critique is that I wish the ramen included a full soft-boiled egg instead of just half, especially with bowls averaging around $17. Overall, this was a great dining experience with flavorful food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. While I have a couple of minor preferences, I would definitely return and recommend it to others looking for quality ramen in the area.
