This dive is consistently out of Romaine lettuce or some other ingredient in an item I'd like to order. Not once or twice... consistently. Why? Who's in-charge of procurement at this place? How hard can it be to make the necessary inventory adjustments for busy times. Moronic! This and the tables are rarely wiped down. Eating off greasy disgusting tables in fast food joints nowadays is common with the death of customer service and the demise of any work ethic but I expected more from Panera which used to be a cut above the other grease joints. read more

The turkey chili is seasonal but awesome. I love this place for that one menu item. Their other food is good too, but their chili seals the deal. I also like this place if I need to do Some work on my laptop. They have secluded seating and most booths have plug-ins for a power strip. It's a perfect place o do paperwork. read more

The food at this place is one of the better spots I have eaten at. I love the fact that they put extra cheese in their cheddar soup. Plus I love the bread that they have at this location. The bread is always really good and I can tell the user proper yeast as well. The address of pinch of salt on the bread which really brings out the flavor. It's a small slight detail that many people probably don't detect but I always do and I appreciate read more

The food was trash especially for how much we made. Probably would have been better off eating from a dollar menu somewhere else. Food looked half assed and quickly thrown together even after we waited forever in the drive thru. Customer service sucked t read more

Paneras food is what you'd expect from a cafe that has a drive thru. Very average & Expensive for the small amount of food you get. But everyone knows that and expects that! If you're mad at the food quality then don't go to chain restaurants with drive throughs, what do you expect! With that being said, I like it because it's convenient & This location gets a 5 star from me because the people are exceptionally polite and kind! They forgot an item of my order and more than made up for it. I can here not realizing it was 10 minutes until close, I realized as I was waiting in line and got anxious that they would be annoyed but they were still so kind! read more

Hello, I have been purchasing a country wheat sourdough loaf on a weekly basis for the past 2 months since moving to this area. This bread is amazing. Great with sandwiches especially. This weekend my car was being used and I had no ride to get my loaf for the week. I decided to order my loaf on Door Dash. One problem, the loaf isn't offered on The Dash. That is really unfortunate because I found that Kneaders does offer their sourdough bread on DD. Goodbye Panera!!! read more

Totally excited to see this being built next to my office. Always looking for other quick breakfast options and with a Drive-Thru, thought this be a win! Unfortunately, I was wrong. I will be the first to tell you, I'm not a cheap guy with food. I like to eat and I'll pay for good food. To spend nearly $5 on this? I don't even honestly know what this is, or if it's even food... Big disappointment. read more

I'm not sure if it's this location or all Panera's. I've been there at least three times giving them the benefit of the doubt. It's extremely overpriced for poor quality food. The sandwiches I got were rock hard, almost broke a tooth on the pepperoni mozzarella melt lol, the tuna sandwhich was dry, bland. Cookies dry and hard. Just tasteless food. read more

The food was good the staff was very friendly and helpful! Great suggestions! Food was very good. This was my first time here! I was very happy the food and my bear claw was available! I even had my favorite orange cranberry muffin my all time favorite! Yeah thanks for great coffee, pastries and time to sit and relax! See you next time! read more

Tried this newest one. its worth checking out if you like the Paneras locally. The stars are for the staff and layout/potential- what's missing is quality food- especially their bakery items. I've been in Paneras on the East Coast and keep waiting for AZ to catch up. This is their newest and just opened. Like all the Paneras I've tried in AZ- the coffee was lukewarm. The pastries were average. Their scones are not scones- they are dense cakes. The avocado spinach and egg white sandwich came on a bun that was hard as a rock suggest trying a different bread. Disappointed but not surprised sadly. The staff were great, accommodating and great layout. Hope their food catches up. read more

Main issue at the 60 and Stapley location is with the charged lemonade. It's bad enough they are an extra dollar but what's worse is they have now them behind the counter. This requires you to stand in line up to 10 mins per refill waiting for a line of people. This is not good. A quick call to Panera corporate has revealed this is not company policy. They said it would be fixed soon. That was 2 weeks ago. Love the food and location but no one should have to wait 10 mins or more to refill a drink. read more

Chain continues to dissapointing and piss people off. Always getting an order wrong or an item missing. You wait in the drive through for 20 minutes and then when you get up to pay the system wasn't taking Apple Pay when I've used it many times in the past. I said forget it. "Sorry about that" should have just given me the one item I ordered for the inconvenience, incompetence, and the outrageous wait time. read more

Only rating this place a 2 because the young man who made my food was kind and it was good. MYRANDA HAS THE WORST customer service, we came in close to closing time and it extremely obvious she did not want to help us. Customer service ruins the whole experience. Management should consider someone else to take orders - someone who actually has good customer service. read more

This place is awful. I went through the drive-through and ordered one sandwich and a drink and was told to wait in the parking lot and they will bring the sandwich out to me. 20 minutes later and still nobody showed up. I then had to go inside and grab my food for myself and still waited for them to get it ready. Definitely not going back read more

Me and a few friends were super hungry last night plus I had a gift card lol. so we went to this location not realizing till we pulled up that they were closing in 5 minutes, we felt horrible but ordered anyway because they still asked for our order. They were out of a few things of course. but we knew that was our fault since they were literally about to close. But After getting our food, we had driven away and realized that I was missing the warm bowl I ordered. my friends made me go back even though being confrontational like that is NOT my thing, especially when the location was very much closed by then. I thought it was pointless and was expecting them to ignore us in the drive through which would be completely understandable. . But when we pulled back up they were super nice about it! They made my food (while closed!!) and didn't charge me for it!! PLUS they gave us 3 different deserts for free also. I just thought that it was super sweet and the way they dealt with us was awesome. I work in customer service and I know how frustrating it is to deal with the kind of people that we were last night haha. great job guys. PSA: Please don't take this as inspo lol. Don't be like us and show up even 15 minutes before restaurants close. read more

worst panera experiences i ever have happen at this location, they don't seem to be paying attention or attentive to customers. i pay cash so i wait for someone to even look at the registers. or when i order online they tell me it's ready and they have more to prepare. they are unprepared and are not aware of their surroundings. the person who handed me my order today had bumped it, i had received completion email as well, he tried sending me with an unfinished order, and then he had no idea what was on the order. it was disappointing. i always leave your location bothered and annoyed with the service and half completed orders. read more

I ordered a Greek salad with no pepperoncini and no chicken with a cup of French onion soup. Salad came with both pepperoncinis and chicken. They also didn't place the lid all the way on my soup which resulted in it spilling all over the bag and my car seat. They also didn't include a spoon so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to eat my soup? Not there's a lot left thanks to them not putting the lid on correctly. Why is this so hard? read more

Horrible service I asked for three strawberry poppyseed with chicken and they were out of mandarins, I asked if they were going to compensate for a discount due to the inconvenience. Have never had a issue with this location before. But today they totally botched the ticket order missing the correct amount of side mac and cheeses & bread and somehow adding chips??? But didn't give us chips Then the sandwiches were wrapped so bad, messy falling out when unwrapping- but I hadn't unwrapped the sandwich yet it was ligit in the folds of the outside paper. Sad to hear they discontinued the walnut chicken sandwich. read more

Good food, clean but don't seem to greet or take care of the customers. I watched my food wait on the counter for 10 minutes before someone delivered it. Also watched the line back up at the front and people walk out because no one greeted them as if they expect people to always use the kiosks... friendliness goes along way. read more

I asked them to put a note for my wife, just cute little message to cheer up her day because her morning started off with some poor news. I received a gift card from my company to Panera. I am not one to frequent chain restaurants in general and this visit solidified my point. I ordered a breakfast wrap, how hard is it to mess that up, right? Well, the wrap was toasted to the point of being a dry cracker, the eggs, ham and tomatoes were not distributed evenly causing each bite to be only of ham or eggs. Even free this was a huge disappointment. I will not be back and will continue to frequent the mom and pop local shops where they care about the quality of the food they serve. read more

I'm so tired of this location being out of baguettes 2 plus hours before closing. My food is supposed to come with a piece of baguette (the primary reason I'm eating there) and when you run out the only options offered are non-bread items. The couple of times I have asked for some kind of bread the person has to ask a supervisor and then I begrudgingly get a half slice of bread. Like that's the equivalent of a four inch piece of baguette. I thought this was panera "bread" company. Way to take care of your customers! read more

giving three stars for excellent cleanliness during covid 19 ... they wear gloves you put order in by speaker, they wear gloves, when you pay they get the machine out the window and step back! Food was good and very tasty but the restaurant was dirty. 6pm - only a few people eating inside. No one in line to order Booth had previous customers cup, receipt and garbage. The carpeted area where the dining tables are at the entry was full of food and crumbs. The tile floor under the drink station was dirty and full of debris. We were there close to one hour and didn't see any employees cleaning. I actually wiped my own table prior to sitting down. read more

I'm really not one to write a bad review, but wow this Panera is not good. I love Panera, it's a great place to study and meet up with friends over dinner. However, I'd rather just go the extra mile up to Val Vista's Panera for better service and food. I'm not sure where the issue really lies, but I have a strong feeling it is management. I've never been to a restaurant that is "out of stock" of more items than this location. I mean, they're out of bread at "Panera Bread" almost daily - yet this doesn't seem to be an issue at literally any other location? If they aren't out of bread, its turkey, bacon, avocado, cookies, you name it. Whoever is in charge of ordering for the kitchen needs some serious retraining, that or they have the items but they're too lazy to make it 3-4 hours before closing? We went in the other night and they had giant open buckets full of lemonade sitting on the counter, but no one poured it into the lemonade dispenser? They just left it and walked away, who knows when they finally got around to pouring it in, gross. Anytime you order extra of anything (cucumbers, onions), they never give it to you. Along with the items (bacon, avocado) that you have to pay for extra, you still don't get it! You have to hassle them to get what you asked for, which probably goes back to them already not having enough of the items because the kitchen manager is terrible at their job. I'd like to say I'm truly the only one who experiences all these problems, and maybe it's just my bad luck but on multiple occasions, I hear people at tables all around me complaining, saying they aren't coming back, how it's ridiculous that they're out of everything. All of my friends will go there and text me about how they screwed everything up this time, it truly just isn't worth going until they get better management. At least a chunk of their employees (management and kitchen excluded) are kind and will help when asked. That's about the only good thing. I wish this was an exaggeration, but if you've been to this Panera, you know it really just is this bad. read more

If you want your correct order, make sure you check it before you leave. I've been to this location many times and about half the time my order is accurate. I wish they would ask if you want the bread or an alternative side, but even when you ask for a different side they don't give it to you. Very frustrating. I would love to give 5 starts, but with how many times my order is wrong, I can't. read more

My gf and I come here every so often and the customer service is the absolute worst. The girl who has been in the drive thru the last few times we have come here has some sort of attitude problem and has no problem letting you know it. We ordered our meal and as we were driving away my gf noticed they had not given us one of the items that we had ordered, even paid extra for. We drove back through and let them know and they told us to drive back to the window. After waiting a few minutes some other girl came to the window and waved the item at us then rudely asked "you didn't get one of these?" To which we replied no and offered to hand her the bag and check, the girl declined and held the item out to me saying "well here is another one"... OK you never gave me the item in the first place, how is the "another one"? No sorry or apology or any kind of attempt to make the situation better, just accusing us of being dishonest... The management here really needs to get some training as does their staff. Your food is over priced too considering it was about $20 for 2 soups and half of a sandwich with cold disgusting bacon on it. Do better! read more

Panera Bread seems to be run by accountants and young MBA's squeezing every ounce of profit out of a lackluster offering. Panera bought and then system dismantled a fantastic business: Paradise Bakery. They started slicing the bread thinner, skimping on portions, using lower quality ingredients, making the cookies smaller and cramming more people into their dining rooms. Staff became less welcoming and the nice delicious feel-good bakery/deli became a hollow corporate box... not even a shadow of the great place it once was. Poor management and profit squeezing lost my trust and patronage and destroyed a once great business. Lesson to be learned: DON'T WATER DOWN THE SOUP! read more

Service is really good normally super fast. Just had a bad experience because I had to have my fiancé get me from work early because I have really bad pregnancy sickness.
