I love Panera! This location just put in the fast line kiosks. They work well, I don't have to stand in line and wait to order! My order is slightly complicated. I get a pick two order: cup of mac and cheese and a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese has no American cheese, smoked cheddar, sliced mozzarella, chipotle mayo (light), avocado (light), and salt/pepper. Every time I come here that's my order! They've got it right every time besides one but accidents happen. Their sweets are good too, and I liked the flavored bagels! All the times I've come here the service has been great and I've had no problems as of yet! The decor if it really matters is pretty, too! read more

There soup bowls are good but that's about it. They are very rude! Way over priced! And god help you if you dare ask if they have ranch there!!! Update. I called the store to speak to the general manager and was told they were too busy to talk to me, they took my number down and never returned my call. So I emailed the company. I was hoping for a refund seeing as my brother was unable to eat his meal, but instead they gave me a reward ( $2 off) on my Panera card that has a time limit which is bull. Service is way down since reopening. I know, covid and every employee has additional cleaning duties, but the amount of chatter from the kitchen suggests someone who is being paid to be there might find time to serve food in the traditional way that other restaurants manage and which this location used to do. The more so since none of the ubiquitous signs make any mention of a change in serving procedures, nor was it mentioned by the pleasant and polite person at the register. At least someone did find time to tell us "your food's ready." Can a fully self-serve experience be far behind where customers have to prepare their food as well? read more

Disappointed with service this morning. Poor explanation on free coffee subscription. Its only free for now but im canceling it already aa youre getting only black cofee & u have to pay if u want flavors. First off, I ordered a half a turkey sandwich with no tomato or onion. Well they put both items and I asked not to put on. The macaroni cheese is way over priced for the amount and taste. I chose the Pick Two. I had the Turkey Bravo Sandwich with a Fuji Apple Salad and an apple. My sandwich had the right amount of everything and there's nothing a sweet crust on the bread to top it off. My salad looked a bit tossed, but taste on point. To finish off my meal my red apple was crisp and juicy, yummo. Even with a long line for the drive thru the service was quick and efficient... Until I realized I drove off without receiving a fork to eat my salad. Womp womp. Great choice for today's lunch. read more

This is a horrible example of a Panera store. Not clean, staff has attitudes, and food is questionable. Went there on a Saturday morning for some bagels to go, and was told they don't have any bagels. 8:30 Saturday & no bagels??? A friend and I each ordered the Pick 2, she had a panini with a Caeser salad, I had the steak and arugala sandwich with French onion soup. I had never eaten these before, but i would definitely order again. Everything was perfectly cooked, filling too, for a lunch. Service was outstanding, they have these gadgets like those vibrating things restaurants give you to let you know your table is available. It never vibrated, it synched with a metal disk on the table, the server brought our food to us, so we didn't have to get up again. The place was busy, but every seat seemed a quiet island, and there were comfy chairs where I waited for my friend. This is the Menifee store, not my neighborhood, but I will go again. read more

DEAD FLY in my salad. BEWARE What your eating in your food !!!! Yuck. Terrible. So I was eating my salad and shared some with my daughter and saw something dark at the bottom of the bowl. So I poked at it thinking it was a topping or an old shriveled lettuce. I picked it up and the green was shiny and I realized it was a dead fly with NO WINGS!!! Where were the wings? BLA!!!! SO disgusted even typing about this because of the memory that I was poking around at this fly while I was eating my salad. So I called over a manager and she said she was a shift manager. She looked at the fly and apologized. She gave me 1/2 the money from the pick 2 combo I received and asked if I wanted a pastry. At this point I'm feeling sick to my stomach do not want to eat anything else. Really? You're going to offer me a pastry since I was eating fly with my salad? So I talked to another manager to make an incident report in case I was going to get sick with my daughter. She said Corporate office would call me. Been 2 wks. No phone call or followup. Thank God I actually looked at what dark thing was in my salad.... This is definitely One the worst Panera Bread. I only came here because its close to where we live. I love the food at Panera! However, their prices have gotten outrageous. We paid over $30 for a meal for 2 people, which is high even for a fast-casual restaurant. However, the service was exceptional and their staff should really be applauded for being so friendly and welcoming. Another plus for this location is the drive thru, although it is difficult to read the menu due to the small print. read more

I Have always been a huge Panera Bread fan. I have been to this location multiple times, but only to the Drive Thru. Today i decided to go inside and do homework while I ate. As i finished my meal I went to put my dishes away, Sean came up and took my dishes. I went sit back down and start my work and an older man in front of me spilled his drink,again Sean showed up right away to clean up the spill. I enjoy panera bread -- and should stop buying at this one -- but I keep trying to give it one more chance -- but they continue to disappoint me. Order is almost NEVER correct or packed very poorly. I almost always order the Chicken Rice soup and the bag is always wet when I get home from the lid not being on right. Or I order tomato soup and grilled cheese -- and its rubber when I get home (15 minutes away.) And almost always -- I will admit once they went above and beyond AFTER a mis-order -- the drive through help is abrupt and not friendly. I'll head back to the one by work, in Murrieta -- maybe. I mostly come here for the bagels and paninis. I'm not so big on the soups. I feel like the soup is pretty average. Honestly, I love coming here with my daughters just to spend some quality time with them. It's definitely a nice place for lunch. The service isn't bad, but it isn't that great either. Overpriced and rude staff. Paid almost $20 for two bagels (doesn't come with creme cheese and they only have two flavors), a half of a soup and a half of a grilled cheese. Came here with my boyfriend today because he recieved a gift card. I love Panera but its not usually my first choice since my doctor cut gluten from my diet recently. I was a little worried that I might be stuck with a salad but decided to go with the lettuce wrapped Avocado Chipotle Chicken "panini" the lady who was putting the orders together at the counter check in with me to see if i was okay with the cold sandwich (aka salad! Haha) but said they could warm up the ingredients for me then lettuce wrap it. Long story short it was DELICIOUS and i greatly appreciated them taking the extra step to warm then lettuce wrap my sandwich even though i hated being a pain coming to Panera needing a gluten free sandwich... **Warning to all** Make sure to check, double check and triple check your order when going through the drive thru! Every single time we have ordered through the drive through our orders have been wrong! Missing items, wrong orders, incomplete orders... it is very frustrating! Mobile ordering seems to be a problem as well. They only seem to get it right when we dine in. The manager is gracious and all but there is a clear problem at this location with the staff who seem to spend more time entertaining each other than completing accurate orders for customers. read more

Regarding server Alice, working on Thursday April 5th at around 1pm- My mom and I had lunch and were in a position to observe her work for over an hour. Alice was remarkable !!! VERY hard working!! Obviously rushed and very busy (every table was in the place was full) Alice maintained a friendly attitude towards everyone, customers AND her co-workers. She continued to work with a smile, graciously thanking customers and coworkers for their slightest assistance. Alice was endearing to each customer that she delivered food to. Alice was quick to clean up the entire patio area, in fact working faster and harder than others employees younger than she ! Had I known I'd receive and witness, such great service, I would have left a much bigger tip for Alice at the cash register when I paid!! Give her a raise or a bonus!! read more

My teenage daughter and her friends went to the new Panera in Menifee yesterday. One of her friends was overcharged on his ATM card by $5, and although Panera admitted the mistake, the Manager said there was nothing he could do because the transaction had already gone through. Did he offer to get $5 out of the cash register to remedy the problem? NO. He looked at them saw they were teenagers and did NOTHING. Guess what Panera Manager, I AM NOT a teenager, I am an adult, with money to spend on going out to eat. My promise to YOU is that not one dime will be spent at your Panera. EVER. My friends now know of your poor lack of judgment as well. The morning staff on Tuesday is apparently lazy. I purchased a dozen of bagels at the Panera on on the road and they just tossed all of my bagels in a bag with all the utensils and buckets of cream cheese and never bothered to separate the buckets from the bagels so the bagels got wet from the cold tubs. Didn't separate the everything bagel so the taste transferred onto all the cinnamon crunch and other bagels. I can say Panera usually is one of my favorite fast food places to go to but this location just has horrible customer service. Being sick from a stomach flu, decided to drive across town to get two large soups and half a sandwich. Went up to the window paid my order and received one bag. As I noticed a car pull behind me I pulled up to check my order noticing I hadn't received my sandwich. Feeling sick and dizzy I park, get down and politely inform the drive thru girl who gave me my bag that my sandwich was missing showing her my receipt. A different girl tells the other girls you guys forgot to make a sandwich. Then as she walks infront of me says, ''LIES." Excuse me but I would not be getting off my car asking for a missing item feeling sick. Dont falsely blame customers for your mistakes.
