Panera is one of those places that is 50/50 in both service and food quality. Offering pastries, sandwiches, salad and soups, it is a go to when you want a light meal for lunch. Prices have sadly gone up quite a bit. Dining area tends to be not the cleanest of areas. Overall, 7/10z

Used this location twice to deliver food, and it was good both times. Sometimes getting food delivered to a sick relative from half a country away can't be beat. The first time we ordered via Grubhub so was able to take advantage of some promotions and offers, but this time, the same family feast wasn't available on that platform, so went to the Panera website, where it is still available. It comes with a salad (caesar was the choice), a quart of soup (chicken noodle), a french baguette, and four sandwiches from a limited selection. I ordered Bacon Turkey Bravo, Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT, Chipotle Chicken Avocado, and toasted steak and white cheddar. After mandatory tip, convenience fee, and tax, it came out to $56.43 so about $15 per person which isn't too bad. It was delivered at the time it was promised, and one can follow the progress on the Panera app. The relatives enjoyed the full size sandwiches, and it's good to know this Panera is close by for future needs.

    The menu items

I recently visited Panera Bread and completed a "Pick Two" order. I choose the Chicken Caesar Salad and the Chicken Cordon Bleu Blue Melt. When I got home, and looked at my sandwich it only contained ham. I am more than certain that the sandwich is supposed to have more than ham (according to the ingredients). I'm am not sure if the ingredients were unavailable or if it was a mistake but making an item with half of the ingredients is crazy to me.

Chicken and Rice soup, Green Goddess Cobb Salad with Chicken, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Broccoli Cheese soup to go.

This was my second visit to Panera today as my first choice in Allen was closed early without notice. Ordered the pick two, broccoli cheddar soup and the green goddess cobb salad with chicken with dressing on the side. Had a $5 coupon that expired today so I needed to use it up LOL. Most times when I order through the app, I get $1 off a sweet treat so I got the chocolate chip cookie as well. Got my food, everything looked great and I started eating the soup and realized it was chicken and rice, not broccoli cheddar. Went up to the counter and the very nice young man apologized and got the correct soup right away. Didn't even ask for the wrong soup back, packaged it to go for me, and included a fresh baguette as well. So nice to get that great customer service. Way to go Panera!

The inside is still as clean and organized as it's always been. It's inviting to read, work, or meet a friend. The staff is always friendly and so patient as I usually second-guess what I want when I'm standing at the register - it all looks so good! I am elated Breakfast is now ALL DAY!! The Brekkie Wrap is my go-to, as is the Daily Detox juice. Usually I place a mobile order and they are always on it. The order has always been right and ready on-time too. The have parking available for pick-up so it's a quick in and out too. I really enjoy ChopShop. Here are a few of my reccos +Fresh Juice: Daily Detox and Cold Buster +Breakfast: Brekkie or Cheat Day Wrap +Bowls: Hot Honey Chicken Hummus is my favorite, but Red Chili Lime Shrimp is good too. +Salads: Citrus Thai with shrimp is the best! Danish and Beet with chicken are awesome too. + Sandwiches: Moroccan Turkey is the only one I've tried +Cookies: They are all delicious - even the gluten free ones!

The Nutty Creation Is the One to Order…read more Elke's Market Cafe is a cozy, approachable spot that does simple things well. The standout for me is Elke's Nutty Creation, and now that I know what's in it, it makes complete sense why it's so good. The combination of pecan cheddar spread, bacon, candied jalapeños, and peach preserves on toasted molasses wheat bread hits that perfect sweet-savory balance. It's rich without being heavy, a little sweet, a little salty, and just enough heat to keep it interesting. One of those sandwiches that sounds unusual, but works surprisingly well. The café itself has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and service is friendly and easygoing. A great spot for a casual lunch when you want something comforting, but a little different. If you're unsure what to order, the Nutty Creation is absolutely worth trying.

Updated review: 2/23/26…read more FOOD: The food here is always consistently good & has been over the years. The ownership changed hands after the pandemic, but the quality of the food has remained unchanged. It is a great place to go for just about anything. I especially love the soups and sandwiches. The only deduction in a star is I wish they had the chicken & wild rice consistently more available on the market side and a few more dessert offerings in the restaurant. All they have is lemon bars, cookies, banana pudding. I would like to see a daily pie special. ATMOSPHERE: This is a solid place, clean, good for kids, families, ok for a first date and coffee--definitely not romantic. It is always clean and neat. SERVICE: You order at the register and they bring it out to you, but it is pretty low-key. All team members are great. TIP: Pick up a freezer meal when you leave. Their casseroles and dips are great for emergencies or a night off.

I saw another yelper post this delicious looking smoothie so I had to check them out…read more The smoothie is 3 colors and layers. It's really appealing to the eye. The presentation is so cute and colorful. It's looks AMAZING. The flavors are mango, avocado and strawberry. I added collagen which gave it a creamy texture. The mango and avocado flavors were my favorites. The mango layer had tiny bits of mango. The strawberry layer was ok. It needed more strawberry flavor. The collagen powder why not it's good for the skin! It's an extra cost though. The space is decorated simple, but modern and chic, The ambiance is cute and cozy. They even sell merchandise for their brand. Service was good no complaints. The staff seemed helpful and friendly. Overall good service and experience. I enjoyed the smoothie. It was cool, fun and mostly tasty. These smoothies might be a bit pricey for some, but for 3 flavors and adding collagen it was worth trying. The only thing I disliked was the big fat straws. I just like regular straws so much better. They also have a rewards club which is nice.

While I did not eat in the restaurant, it was beautifully decorated, with comfortable tables and booths (so something for everyone). I placed my order and waited at an empty table with a book. Several other patrons stopped in to pick up orders, so it seems that this is a good place for both dine in and takeaway. The food preparation was fast, and I brought our items home to enjoy. The falafel was wonderful (not dry at all, which is often the case), and the meats were well seasoned. The hummus was awesome and the pita was fresh. I have only had Ezme at one other place, and this was definitely better. I always love baba ganoush and this was so good, especially with the warm bread. The family meal for 4 was plenty of food. All the meats, including the chicken items because a lot of time those are over cooked. The lamb tikka, and sheeh tawook were my favorites, but I did enjoy them all. The desserts were a miss for us over all. The ice cream was on the icy side and not as creamy, kunafa was ok but I've had better. The baklava was like any baklava you can get, so not bad. It is slightly pricey but worth it in my opinion. Nice place that can accommodate larger parties, but also has some booths for intimate date night. The meat is also halal so a great option for anyone that needs that.
