I have no idea why Panera only has two stars!! It always has great food, with excellent customer service! I love going there. I go often!

Avoid. Not sure what's going on here but every item we ordered was wrong: we were sold a soup that they had been out of all day, added weird ingredients to a sandwich, left nuts in a salad even though the girlfriend is incredibly allergic to them. Also took about 15 minutes and we had to bring the fixed salad back because it was literally a completely different salad. read more

The young lady at the drive through in the am is notorious for making my order wrong, it takes 5 min for a toasted bagel with cream cheese and it's not the bagel I ordered .... I asked for a specific $5 smoothie and that's wrong too .... I'm starting to believe that the young Caucasian female at the window has some sort of problem several of my friends have had the same experience poor poor customer service! read more

I love Panera, but when I went to the location off Exit 218 in McDonough, it was a different experience than what I'm use to. I ordered a flatbread you pick 2 with a broc/cheddar soup. An extra bowl of soup, and a drink. When I got to the counter the young lady was very nice. She took my money and I waited for my food. Then another young lady came to the drive thru with braids and the whole dynamic changed. She gave me my food, I said thank you and she said nothing and closed the window. I was still waiting on my drink, so I blew the horn and she came back to the window. I told her I had a drink and she asked the cashier and she said yes! So she proceeded to get my coke and apparently the dome icee top was giving her a hard time, so she took my drink down to the end of the counter and asked a young man for assistance, then another girl came to help. At that point, I blew my horn and started motioning for her to come back. She never did! They just looked at me. I did not want 3/4 people hoovering over my drink. I was going to tell her to just give it to me and I will make it work. When she finally came back to the window, she did not say "I apologize maam. the top was hard to get on, anything! She said nothing!!! Just gave me my drink. Then I asked for two spoons because I thought I had two soups. She just handed them to me with no words. Then when I got home, there was only ONE soup in the bag! Panera you need to do better and let these young kids know that they need to open their mouth and stop being so damn rude! I'll try Conyers for now. Which is 12 miles out of the way, but I will travel for good customer service. read more

Still in growing pains. Portions smaller than other locations. They don't ask if you want Apple, chips or baguette. Had Thai chicken salad, just a couple pieces of chicken, chicken noodle soup, all broth no chicken or noodle, plenty vegetables. And steak was ultra rare roast beef. couldn't eat it. A big disappointment when compared to other Panera restraunts. read more

Third times a charm! Not in this case! I've been to this location 3 times now and each time there had been an issue with one of our meals. This time it was my husbands sandwich, the meat tasted sour. It was so bad he complained all afternoon that he couldn't get the taste out of his mouth! Come on Panera, I know you are better then this. We visit the Conyers and Lithonia locations and never have an issue with our food! read more

This location is super overpriced. Panera always seemed a bit pricey to me but this particular location is ridiculous. I.e., this location charges $4.99 for what they call their Regular/Standard size Green Power Smoothie, which basically equates to a Small anywhere else. It's super tiny. I can get the same exact smoothie, double the size, at a Panera location near my job in an upscale part of Midtown Atlanta for the same price. Also, I ordered a two for two once evening, half steak and arugula and half mac and cheese. Why did it come to over $14? Same deal at my work location is just over $10. read more

This Panera Bread never gave me my bread and I went to the counter twice to retrieve said bread. They did offer me chips but I specifically wanted bread. I am disgusted and horrified at the service at this establishment. I'll stick to my favorite Panera bread a few miles down the road. Also, the pick-up counter was highly disorganized and the manager wasn't doing anything about it. The salad tasted like crunchy water and too many pieces of stem on the salad. The dressing was good. The bread was so hard and tasted stale, and I only found this out because my friend was kind enough to lend me some bread. The chocolate candies on my cookies were exploded and my friend couldn't even eat it because the ingredients weren't posted for her to see. The music was vulgar and not at all calming. I'm disgusted and disappointed with my experience. I'm truly horrified. Never again. read more

Ok, where do I begin? This is the most inefficient restaurant ever! The food is great if you get it but the employees are not trained and saying they are inefficient is an understatement. The restaurant is regularly out of items or ingredients. The employees are slow and unconcerned. Tonight, was a real winner. I ordered a croissant as my side and the girl at the pick up window actually told me only 1/2 of a croissant came as a side, which of course is not true. She proceeded to cut the croissant in half!!! Highly incompetent. I go and have frequently for the last year and a half because its close to work. They have a rate of about 50% accuracy for correct orders. They've even messed up replacement orders before. They are continuously out of their own staples, like oatmeal during breakfast, avocado during lunch, etc (and for days at a time). The wait is always long. Always, no matter how busy they are, no matter whether you order inside or through the drive-through and no matter how simple your order is. This store should be sold and managed by a different group/entity. Its absolutely pathetic. read more

Don't eat here. It wasn't a busy time but the drive thru was taking forever so we went inside to order. The only thing that did was confirm that the restaurant has roaches and how incompetent everyone was that worked there. We pulled out a stack of napkins from the dispenser and a roach crawled out of our napkins. They also forgot the bear claw that I ordered... So I had to go ask for that too. Slowest Panera ever. I was so excited when this location first opened because we didn't have a Panera in the area. The excitement quickly changed within the first few months. The restaurant is always dirty and smells like dirty mop water. The customer service sucks and the overall experience is unpleasant. read more

Honestly, I must say that the food was pretty good...but the customer service at this location was not good to me. I don't like to return to places where customer service is lacking....I can get good food elsewhere or prepare it at home. My issues were located where you pick up your plate of food, and the order not looking right (which could have been corrected) and what the staff said to me when he made the correction. On top of that- my hands were full and the staff person at the plate pick up area did not offer to assist me. Needless to say- a customer assisted me in carrying the food plates and bowls to the table (as I was told that there were no trays). read more

Terrible customer service and let's not add that they don't ever have anything!! One morning they didn't have breakfast sandwiches and today they don't have bagels!! How can you not have bagels! on my way home from vacation i decided to order tortellini and tomato basil soup, i was kind of in a rush so i order their rapid pick up and my food was supposed to be ready at 6:42 and by 7:20 my food still wasn't ready, with this being said another couple had been waiting around the same time with no food yet. after 40-45 minutes of waiting they finally got my order to me, one of the workers just ran and grabbed a baguette as well and ripped a piece off and threw it in my bag of food. i got to my vehicle to make sure my food was in the bag and had no silverware then had to wait another 5 minutes just for a plastic fork and spoon. finally for the taste part.... my tortellini was only warm, and the soup was decently hot but was gross, then to top it off the baguette she threw in my bag was cold and kind of moist. so i doubt i'm going to be going to panera bread anytime soon, but i don't recommend this one as it was a horrible experience. another downside after waiting 50 minutes for 2 simple things, they just slid my bag over the counter to me, didn't request possibly a free pastry for the inconvenience or long wait which in my opinion is bad service, as i've been in the food industry. read more
