I did complain and manager said it never should have left kitchen like that and she would tell them. No offer to give credit! I made my first order online, when I went to get it. I go in my car to check if the order was right and to my surprise it was not. I am a Panera fan but I am not a fan of the flatbread pizza I had there. I ordered the new Sausage and Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza. First of all, the pizza had green pepper pieces on it despite not being in the description and I hate green peppers. I was able to pick them off and couldn't taste them thankfully. Secondly, the pizza tasted like a cheap frozen pizza. I'm not opposed to a frozen pizza occasionally but not for $9.19. Very disappointed. read more

After I finished paying for my food, I saw a roach on the counter. The cashier killed it in front of me and then blamed Chipotle for "bringing the roaches." Go in and take a look around, the carpet (yes carpet) is disgusting, the tables are rarely cleaned and have a gummy texture to them. This is not a quality Panera at all. Unfortunately, Panera does just that. It's not so much that they mess them up; they are just unequivocally​ mediocre. Don't get me wrong, a mediocre sandwich is still a good sandwich. I have mediocre sandwiches all the time. Get some deli chicken and stick it between two honey wheat bread slices and you got yourself a lunch. But, when I'm going to a restaurant and spending upwards of $10 (even more if you want sides and a drink) I want to be wowed. I want something to write home to mom about. With Panera, there's nothing to write to my mom about. I'm even struggling to write this review. Panera is painfully average. I don't understand the hype around it. I had a good lunch the first time I visited Panera. It was opening day which was also my birthday (10/7). When I went Saturday night I had an ok visit. I forgot to tell the girl at the register I wanted my bagels cut. So as she handed them to me I asked if they had been cut. "No but I can do that for you" wonderful I was very happy and even apologized about forgetting to ask (no problem). Problem I had is she didn't seem to be trained on how to use this machine. I've been to a few Panera's and never really had a problem. The kept getting stuck and she left one in the machine (the girl that used the machine after her noticed). So Sunday morning comes around and expecting cut bagels instead I have a corner fall off as it had been cut wrong. If I could leave a zero I would, honestly I love Panera however the first day I went I got the pick two. Half Greek salad, half chicken noodle soup, well the salad was wrong I asked for no olives and extra dressing. There was no dressing and my salad had olives well I couldn't eat it because I'm allergic and plus who wants to eat a salad with no dressing. Secondly the chicken noodle soup was broth soup maybe three noodles smh. I also order a oatmeal raisin cookie but it was also left out. It's bad enough I have to wait thirty minutes in the drive through due to Covid-19. I called back and they stated they would remake my order, so I called later and told them my order and I was on my way it would be 15 min and the manager said ok I'll prepare it now. Well I wait 15 minutes in drive through only for them to tell me to pull to the front so they can make it. Then I wait another 15 min for them to bring it only to tell me there were no cookies and it would take 20 minutes to make and they sent out the young guy who was taking out trash while I was in the drive through. Well the manager comes out and apologizes and said it would take 8 minutes to make the cookies so I decide to wait only to get home to raw cookie dough and a bad salad I couldn't eat because they didn't exclude any items I requested. read more

I don't really see why this place has 2 stars. It's actually a really great spot. My food is always made right, and it is always tasty. It is also very clean in this place and not dirty. Every time I come here there is usually not a long wait in the line or for food. The service is also great and I've never had any problems with the employees. This is the worst Panera I've ever patronized! Orders are constantly inaccurate simply due to not paying attention. I don't eat pork, but it never fails that bacon is added to my "egg, cheese, and avocado" breakfast sandwich. When orders are not made correctly no one offers a pastry; they are likely out of stock. Do not be surprised if the line is long and due to a missed supply order, there is a menu limited to drinks and pastries. It doesn't matter if you place your order online, in person, or drive thru there is a long wait, out of food, or missing items. I recommend not placing a order ahead of time because you will disappointed. The customer service is just as terrible. They have no patience or empathy as you spend your hard earned money for your food. I have been a few times and expect the worst. The only thing they offer is a sweet treat from the bakery for your troubles and long wait. My recommendation is to go somewhere else or check your bag before you leave. read more

This is an update. I have tried it least a dozen more times since my last review to come back here. The food is a disgrace to any of the other Panera's I have been to. Every pick up order has always had something wrong with it; missing food, cold, no utensils. It's impossible to get a decent meal here. Don't waste your time or your money. I just made a mobile order for the autumn squash soup and a Modern Greek Salad with Quinoa. The soup was not as good as the first time I had it from the Fayetteville location and they put pumpkin seeds in it, which is not how I had it the first time. My salad was horribly made and had NO kale, which is the main thing I was hoping to see in my salad. The cucumbers weren't cut right and the Romain lettuce looked wilted. Wish I could give negative stars. This is quite literally the worst Panera I have ever been too. Can't imagine the last time that facility was even cleaned. Didn't have sausage, took 20 mins for a coffee and 2 sandwiches all of which were incorrect. My caramel latte tasted like plain coffee with lots of milk in it, no cheese on either of the sandwiches which we requested and paid for and my sandwich was not edible. The bread was soggy like it had been sitting in water and it tasted like dirt. Food is the same here as the other locations but the service here is not the best. I arrived at 3pm - there was a very limited supply of baked desserts . I ordered a cookie - there was none. I asked for a cheese danish- "we don't make them in the afternoon ". . I was told the Cookie was baking, I ate inside the restaurant, checked on it after 15 minutes . When I called, the child like managers didn't try to get information about amount, date or time of order to check their own internal records. I stop by this location to purchase gift cards for family members and never have had an experience like this before. I wanted to purchase $100 in increments of $20 for 5 different people and were told at first they didn't have any. Well, when the worker went to the back the cashier walked pass me and let me know that they did. So when I was able to make the purchase...they would not allow me to purchase the $100. I could only purchase $50. No one gave me a reason why you could not make a purchase above $50. Never visited or purchase anything from this store until today. This is very frustrating. Not only is it rush hour so turning around isn't an option and we are on our way home to Michigan but I could never even get my money back. We order 2 whole Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwiches with 2 apples and a coffee. The girl at the drive thru clearly rung in something else because even the receipt says it. Receipt says 2 Bacon Chipotle Melts. Not even close to what we ordered. I'm usually not one to complain and if it was close I would eat it. But instead I spent $20 on 2 grilled cheese sandwiches with raw bacon. Seriously!?!?!?! I would never in my entire life eat this unless I was poor. I don't understand why there are negative reviews on here. I've been to this Panera Bread many, many times since it was opened here in McDonough. The food and service has been top-notch. The atmosphere is warm and suave. The employees are incredibly nice and accommodating however, the food size portions do not agree with the prices. I order a whole penne ( steak and white cheddar) and was meet with a small portion sandwich on white bread. I asked them to not include horse raddish which they did not yet I wanted the penne style bread which I did not receive. This cost almost 10 dollars. My friend ordered a half sandwich and received a 1/4 cut of sandwich. This cost almost 7 dollars. Atlanta bread company, which is the same style of establishment, serves bigger protions for more reasonable prices. I will not be returning in to Panera for this simple fact. I love Panera bread! But I have recently started a gluten free diet and so did my kids.i just wish it had more gluten free options.

My mom and I typically love Panera, but this location is awful. They were "out of" the bread for the main sandwich being advertised and out of lettuce for salads. How is that possible? The worst part was that when they told us they didn't have the things to make our order they didn't even offer suggestions. They just stared at us like we should provide a solution.
