Where do I begin. Panera's in Manteca on East Yosemite. After the pandemic, no regular hours, some days closed down to indoor dining because not enough employees to open. For about 10 days, no coffee was being served because the brewer wasn't working. Now hours are 10 to 3 pm for now. The new employees are not, for the most part, very friendly even when there appears to be adequate staffing. Oftentimes 2,3, or 4 employees are on a break on their phones. I never saw any of this prior to the pandemic and knew most of the employees on a first name basis. Today is my main beef. I ordered a bagel and coffee in the kiosk as I do 3 or 4x a week. When I went to retrieve the bagel, it was cold with no cream cheese. Girl looked at me and said I didn't enter that info into the kiosk. Granted, I might have made a mistake in ordering but she saw I was agog and might have asked me if I wanted it toasted. I'm thinking to myself, what idiot would think I'm dining in with coffee with a cold bagel. I requested she do that for me and she seemed put out. And u have the audacity to ask for tips in the kiosk and the counter. When I went back to pick up my order there was no knife or cream cheese. When I asked she told me I had to request at the front counter. I put 2 dollars on the counter and said that was for her trouble. I then, had to wait in line behind 2 people. I told the girl that someone in the kitchen was too lazy to take 2 second but rather make me wait for another 8 minutes whereby the bagel was cold and I couldn't even finish before I had to leave. Your lunch crowds have been non existant. With the new food businesses popping up around your store, there are many more options for a meal. My opinion is that your store is mismanaged because for years I lived in Fremont and it was always my favorite place to dine. Hope someone from your company investigates. I can't believe this store is performing up to your standards. I'm done visiting your store. If you think I'm a kook, visit it as a customer a few times and you will find a dirty store, with unhappy employees who seem not to care at all. There are some hard workers that should be commended and seem to work a lot of hours. Only person I know anymore is Yazmin in the kitchen and you're lucky to have her and she loves her job.
