Came here during my lunch break and ordered the Caesar Salad and Turkey Bacon Avocado. Caesar Salad: 8/10 but needed more dressing. That being said if you're looking for a good sandwich place I'm sorry, but I was truly disappointed. I ordered the tri-tip with jack cheese on sourdough, first and foremost I was never even offered any veggies or toppings for my sandwich I was just given my sandwich as is. At a price of $18.95 that definitely was not worth the price. Not only that but the bread tasted like it was day or two old. Currently one of my favorite sandwich spots! Lots of different sandwich variations to choose from and you can customize them to your liking. I'm hooked on the chipotle chicken sandwich right now, so yummy. I'm sad that it seems like they got rid of the curly fries tho over the years, they were my favorite. Every time I've visited this specific location it seems clean and the staff are always kind and welcoming. I came here around 12 noon on a Thursday. There were about 5 people in line, but it moved quickly. There is a large shared parking lot so parking is no problem. They do have about 6 tables if you want to eat there. I ordered the turkey, avocado and sprouts sandwich. They have different types of bread (white, wheat, dutch crunch, sourdough) and sandwiches come in 3 sizes: Small (6"), Medium (8") and Large (12") The ladies working were very friendly and service was quick. Sandwiches are delicious and they serve them in a to go box! A box! Never have I seen this for a sandwich, it was awesome! If you like fries, then do yourself a favor and get the classic fries. My coworker has been telling me for years that I should try Deli Delicious which is right down the street from our shop... So, I decided to give it a try. Well, I wish I hadn't!. First, my usual go to sandwich spot in Manteca is The Sourdough Company and they never disappoint. At Deli Delicious I ordered the mini size ham sandwich and the first thing I noticed was the bread was t-e-r-r-i-b-l-e. It had absolutely no flavor, no softness to it. My dog wouldn't even eat this. It was hard, flavorless pieces of stale bread. Secondly, I now know why they have an "add extra meat" option because seriously...two pieces of ham?! That's absurd. I gave it two stars because the ham was actually good and the produce was fresh. But from now on I will be sticking to my usual sandwich shop. read more

You would not believe what just happened. First off, sandwich was great, very yum, very yes. However, when ordering my sandwich I wanted none of the works and was immediately peer pressured by the employee asking "not even mayo". I'm not the sandwich expert here, but I do know what I like. Since they opened a couple of years ago, the people who run out Target store across the street ordered several times. I got some bits here and there from those people and the fries made me want to try the place. Today, a co-worker and I were looking for a sandwich shop and we chose this one after one other. I remember it being really expensive (Quiznos is more my style and price), but I'm doing okay now. When I looked at the menu, I remember why I bypassed the place in the past--the pre-made selections on the menu. None of them really looked good. I chose the 8 inch meatball sandwich for $10.75 and my buddy chose a tuna combo of some sort. With two sets of half-size fries, it came to $26.22, which I guess isn't all that bad. The food was available within reasonable time and the staff were nice enough. Opening the sandwich, I wasn't sure how to feel. There wasn't any cheese and the meatballs were huge and not sliced. The fries were not what I expected. They didn't taste anything close to what I remembered. There was very little seasoning on them and they weren't more than room temperature. As soon as I picked up the sandwich, a meatball fell through the bread, and without a fork, I couldn't really eat it. I placed an order via grub hub. I ordered a mini roast beef and turkey with Swiss and sprouts. I also ordered a half grilled chicken salad. While it was better than a home made boring sandwich I was less than impressed with the meat or should I say lack there of. I understand it's a mini but it literally had one slice of roast beef, one slice of turkey and one slice of cheese. It also had a lot of mustard taste to it. Not sure if that was their sauce or if they put a ton of mustard. The Dutch crunch roll was good but for the price I doubt I will eat here again. I haven't eaten the salad yet as I ordered blue cheese not ranch (don't like ranch at all on my salad) I also paid a dollar on top of the price of the half salad for extra dressing, so I will have to get some dressing here at home before trying it. This was my first time trying Deli Delicious and I have to say that it is a good option if you are on a rush and need to have a quick bite. I ordered #26 Turkey, Bacon, Avocado and Pesto mini on a Dutch crunch roll with a side of sweet potato fries. The mi sandwich if the equivalent of a regular 6 inch sandwich from Subway. The roll was fresh and not as hard, which is good because Dutch crunch can be hard. I got an insane amount of turkey, two slices of fresh avocado and half of a crispy bacon strip. I would have to go another time and order a bigger sandwich to know if the mini version has this small amount of avocado and bacon or if the sandwich maker got stingy with the ingredients. The sweet potato fries were on the softer side and came with a side of ranch and ketchup, a good combination for the fries. read more

Overall good experience. Our first experience was horrible. We ordered online and the system messed up. We didn't realize until we got back home. When I called the owner passed the phone to someone else. This person made the sandwiches. I was really taken back by her insistence they were made correctly. I was sitting there with barely anything on my sandwich and my husband's grilled cheese was basically cheese melted between their sub bread. They didn't offer any compensation other than us other than us driving back and having the sandwiches remade. We don't live close to the shop and it was late. I couldn't believe a new place lacked proper service. Being celiac my choices are limited for eating out. We decided to give them another try. We've been back several times and order in person. Everything has been great! Glad we didn't go off of the first impression. Really appreciate their options and can get a vegan or vegetarian option too. A gem in Manteca for celiac people. read more

Not sure if the lady who is always their is the owner or manager, but she is awesome at being attentive and trying to provide great customer service. Wish i would have given this place a try the many times i had coupons. Just started giving it a try after they made fans and the coupons stopped. Their beer batter fries makes this place awesome, along with their options of Dutch crunch and sprouts. It definitely help's them stand out from other sandwich shops. My mouth literally waters everytime i think about their sandwiches. Too bad i feel they are a little on the pricey side. I always walk out paying at least $15. They told me they have Grilled cheese, probably noticing my daughters. - the "grilled" cheese was heated up in the MICROWAVE. My complaint is that thin lady with her hair up wearing glasses I think she's like the manager or supervisor or something. This lady doesn't know how to talk to her employees. My husband went in to pick up two sandwhiches, the chipotle chicken and the BBQ beef. He had mentioned that we had a hair in our food last time & our previous Yelp review and was wondering if they would honor the free meal offered by management. The employee went to get someone else (must have been a supervisor or manager). Not only did they offer us two free sandwhiches but gave us 2 drinks, 2 chips and the OJ we were going to purchase. We only were expecting the one free meal, not our entire order for free. Great customer service! And I'm glad I gave them another try considering they were new. My husband also mentioned they had the AC on and the environment felt nice. Highly recommend the Chipotle chicken!! It was Delicious, I think it's my new favorite. Order two hot pastrami large bread toasted $36 I get em bread cold as heck I go in yo ask why my bread wasn't toasted. They said bread was toasted yet I'm telling them bread is not even a little warm. If you pay that much for 2 sandwiches and request bread toasted I mean hot pastrami common sense. The least they could've done is fix it. But they didn't even offer to do things right. I left the place dissapointed told them id heat em up home but never will be back.
