Cream of chicken and wild rice soup
    Sho R.

I took out dinner from here. I went for 2 pick for two. It was a good option to try. Among soup, corn chowder soup was my favorite. Creamy chicken and wild rice soup was good as well. Chipotle chicken avocado melt and smokehouse bbq chicken sandwich were both good. For side, I went with apple for both dinners.

I visit this place often and really like the vibe here, staff does the work well and sometime they are busy or exhausted so you may not see smiling faces always. Good experience overall and internet connectivity is better than the nearby everygreen park location.

I was hungry and in the area shopping. We decided to stop in for lunch. I got the steak sandwich and besides the fact that they didn't have the regular ingredients there was barely any steak at all on my sandwich. The food wasn't very appetizing and the service was definitely lacking. I am very disappointed. I do not recommend this restaurant and I will have to say it is with good probability I will not be back to this location.

Summer corn chowder and grilled cheese w tomato.

Okay, getting right into this. Ordered their "pick two" option. Corn chowder soup with half a grilled cheese with tomato. More expensive than I remembered. The corn chowder soup was really yummy! Bits of potato, corn and spice surrounded by creaminess! When I ordered the half grilled cheese, I asked for tomato on it. Thought that was a normal ask? When my order was ready, I thought they put bacon on the sandwich not tomato. The cook said no, it is tomato. Tomato con feit. WHAT?? She continued with, you know-cooked with paprika. Okay, so a grilled cheese would be grilled, right? It was a soggy, greasy sandwich that had an odd bit of tomato con feit in it. Perhaps my tastebuds were off today, but I was so disappointed. I'm not writing Panera off for good. I'll just try another selection.

Needing refreshment and a break during a long drive, our group stopped at Panera Bread as they are known to have GF options. We took a little bit of a wrong turn, thanks to our screwy GPS, but found a gas station, refueled, asked directions, and found that Panera is very close to the highway, so props for easy off/on access. In fact, as Panera Bread is located within a strip mall, and close to a shopping mall, there are lots of food options at this exit for hungry travelers. We stopped after the traditional lunch hour, and even so, the place was still very busy. One of the staff was occupied with asking people to try the fast-order kiosks, but we passed, as I needed to explain my gluten issues to an actual person. After some back and forth with my cashier, we settled on the Green Goddess Cobb salad for me, and my traveling companions each got sandwiches, which they deemed very good. I ate half my salad -- quite tasty, and heaped with egg, avocado, bacon and chicken -- and the rest held up very well for a snack the next day. My only complaint - the seating area is long and narrow, which can be a little claustrophobic and difficult to navigate, although everyone was friendly and accommodating. Restrooms are clean, and the staff was pleasant, they even helped carry our order out to our table. Nice touch!

Don't get me started! I've been to this Panera Bread in the past and it's been fine. This time it was abysmal. The wait was very long, and when we were up, the cashier didn't seem to know much of anything. It seemed like they had their B-team running the place. After we ordered, it took forever to get the food. When it came, they messed up my daughter's order. She asked for a salad with no chicken but they put chicken on it (she's a vegetarian). After they fixed it, we sat down to eat. My salad had chicken (as I ordered),but the chicken was mostly frozen. The place was a mess and the bathrooms stunk.

Very busy Panera! I ordered via the kiosks since the line was long and actually got my salad 10 minutes later. The staff wasn't the friendliest as I had a question and felt like I was annoying by asking.. besides that the food was good. Typical food, the restaurant had several dirty tables and some trash on the floor as well as the restroom. It was busy in there so I'm going assume it's mostly new? I hope..

Here's the classic grill cheese!!! Please DO NOT ORDER

I ordered the classic grill cheese... the worst grill cheese sandwich I've ever seen. It was terrble. the seasonal corn chowder was just as bad.

    Flatbread and Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Best Panera I've been in! Staff is super friendly and helpful. I got a flatbread and a broccoli cheddar soup and it was so delicious. Definitely recommend going to this Panera. One of the staff was walking around the dining room taking plates once you finished and was so friendly!!

A super small breakfast sandwich note the butter packet as a size reference.. Total ripoff

For my first drink, I'm having a Comet's Tail made with Woodford Reserve bourbon, ginger orange syrup and Angostura bitters. This is good! It's string too! That is a moonshine maraschino cherry in there! I love it! For my appetizer, I'm having the Seared Blackened Ahi Tuna which is pan seared with a lime. Look at that cool lime twist garnish! This tastes great! Easy to eat. Very light on the stomach. I ate the last of it! For my next drink, I'm trying the Alien Orchard made with Crown Apple whiskey and cranberry juice. Oh, it's a martini! This is good! It's not too strong and is well balanced. For my entree, I'm having the Roasted Chicken Breast with orange ginger sauce and seasonal veggies (fresh veggies on hand). OMG! This is fantastic! Cauliflower. Oh yeah. The chicken is moist and tasty! That's a big portion! This is the bomb! For my final drink, I'm having a Negroni. The Negroni is a classic Italian cocktail known for its balanced bitter, herbal, and sweet flavors. Invented in Florence in the early 1900s, it's typically made with equal parts gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari, and garnished with an orange peel. The Negroni is complex and refreshing, with notes of juniper, grapefruit, and citrus. The sweet vermouth balances the bitter and herbal notes, making it suitable for all seasons. This was made just perfectly! What a great meal here!

I'm finally back here. The restaurant is Vietnamese and is located at 252 Broad St. in Manchester,…read moreCT. It's been quite some time. This is possibly the largest pho (Vietnamese) restaurant in the state (next to Pho Boston). The decor is real nice too. The menu is huge. There are a lot of options including classic Vietnamese non-soup dishes (one of which I am getting). Unique items include salmon spring rolls and salmon noodle soup. There is no music. That should be on while they're open. The owner, Pete, immediately serves me a huge glass of ice water with a lime. It's warm outside so it's very refreshing. For my drink, I'm having a Nuoc Chanh (fresh lime). Nước chanh is a classic Vietnamese limeade, known for its refreshing balance of tart, sweet, and occasionally a hint of salt. In Vietnamese cuisine, "chanh" usually refers to green limes, though lemons can be used as a substitute abroad. This is good! It tastes closer to lemonade. For my appetizer, I am having the Goi Cuon Ga (chicken spring rolls). Gỏi cuốn gà are fresh, non-fried rolls filled with poached chicken, rice vermicelli, fresh herbs (mint, cilantro), and lettuce wrapped in thin rice paper. They are a light, healthy alternative to the traditional pork and shrimp version, often served with peanut hoisin dipping sauce or fish sauce (nước chấm). These are light and easy to eat. The cubed or diced or minced chicken is a different approach I haven't seen before. Add sriracha sauce for a little kick. These are good! They do serve everything on styrofoam plates. Adding some ceramic plates would be a nice touch. For my entree, I'm having the ga luclac (also known as Shaking Chicken). This is stir fried chicken breast with mixed vegetables and white rice. Vietnamese Shaking Chicken (gà lúc lắc) is a popular dish featuring wok-seared, cubed chicken thighs marinated in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and garlic, resulting in a caramelized, savory flavor. It is typically seared at high heat to create a crust, served over greens with onions and tomatoes, often accompanied by rice. I've asked for extra spicy. Let's see what comes out. There's always sriracha sauce as a last resort. This is more like it! It's served sizzle hot! That's a big portion! This tastes great! It's nice to be served by the owner himself! What a great meal here! P.S.: When paying, you need to go up to the front counter.

Don't concentrate too hard on trying to figure out if Pho 99 is the best the region's got. After all, luminaries like Mrs. Lee's and Pho House are gone, but Pho 99 is still here, and it's still so damn good. As a vegetarian, I love the tofu and veggies in Pho 99's pho chay. The pillows of tofu have the right combo of chewy skin and pliant interior, there are the right amount of auxiliary veggies, and the slender noodles always melt and dissolve just so into a silky oneness with the broth. I love the slight cinnamon smell in the broth and the way it gets better the longer it sits there, absorbing the squirts of sriracha and the bean sprouts you dump in. If you want something else, take it from my husband, a philistine on whom the delights of all soups are wasted, who says he adores their shaking beef. Family run, consistently delicious, and not overpriced at $20 for a large bowl, Pho 99's enduring goodness is a reminder of the astronomically high level of Vietnamese food in Hartford we are privileged to enjoy.

The still tastes good, with some exceptions. The frier oil seemed burnt, so the pickle chips we had just had that little bit of carbon taste on them. The pickle chips batter was very thick, and the mayo was the only respite. The sandwich, still tasty, seemed much smaller than normal, the meat still had good flavor, but the portion was lighter in comparison. The prices are also a bit high. The sandwich coming out to about 15 bucks. The bargain is very much gone now, and the portion is okay for a sandwich but pricy because of this shrinkage. Not shown are the overcooked onion rings. We returned those and the server promptly removed them from the bill. So really good customer service. I opted for a brownie for dessert, and the brownie was a disappointment. Too sugary, no flavor, gummy, and disappointingly small and thin. A detractor for sure. As a deli, it feels like it's on the decline. I know things are pricier now, but what you pay vs what you get doesn't match up. I'm hoping they pivot from this path, but right now it's no longer my go-to. It's still tasty, just pricy
