I just wanted to say after horrible experience with "Tim" the general manager of the Waldorf location. I decided to come order at the LaPlata location after expressing my experience in Waldorf with "Tim". Brittany one of the managers there offers to remake in the house, and the District Manager also happened to be in, apologized for "Tim's" behavior and gave me a certificate for my next meal. Thank you both for your hospitality and professionalism. Not only was the service A1 the oatmeal was great as well.

amazing food, really great staff, the tables were a bit dirty but it was busy so that's probably why.

Burnt crust and my incorrect for the umpteenth time sandwich.

I wanted to hold off giving this review. I really want to give them 5 stars, but I can't. This is my go-to Panera because it's about 5 minutes from my house. The employees are mostly really friendly, especially the cashiers, and it's generally a welcoming environment. However, there's one thing they have a huge problem with: accuracy. Most of the time, I have no complaints; but there are periods of time, I'm guessing during high turnover, where they can't get my order right at save their lives and it can go on for months. I counted once. My order was incorrect TEN TIMES IN A ROW. I once ordered the edamame soba noodle bowl and was given a chicken one. I alerted the girl working at the food prep/delivery station and she told me it's because I ordered chicken. I explained that I wouldn't because I'm a vegetarian and showed her my receipt. How would she know anyway? She didn't take my order! No apology or anything, she just got an attitude with her co-workers and "fixed it." I don't think she works there anymore, but they're still messing up my orders to the extent that I contacted corporate a month or so ago. The representative that I spoke to sent me a gift card, but I had to email him again the next day because guess what? My order was wrong again! I usually order a Mediterranean Veggie without feta and cucumbers because I don't like either one and they are hard to pick off because they get stuck in the hummus and I have to pull my whole sandwich apart to take them off and the bread still freakin tastes like it. Ugh. Which brings me to yesterday. I ordered the same thing, through the app, as a curbside pickup. I get down the road to discover that not only did they not customize my sandwich at all (which is usually how they mess it up, except one time they just left off the greens and gave me everything else), but one side of the bread crust was burnt. BURNT. And someone thought this was acceptable to serve to their customers. Unreal. This is the last straw for me. I can't continue to order from a place that doesn't seem to have any kind of quality control. It's ridiculous. I'm going to have to start going to other ones nearby instead. Sometimes I feel like it's just me. Extrapolating the number of times they've gotten my order wrong - I mean, how many others are there? And I once had to wait for my food so long that the people I was with were halfway done with their food before I said something- they had forgotten to make it. The manager refunded my meal, which was much appreciated. Please tell me it's not just me. Or that it is. I don't know which is worse.

Very dissatisfied! I ordered a you pick 2 along with my girlfriend. I ordered the bowl of chicken noodle soup and she ordered the cup of chili. After measuring it out it was 2 cups (the bow of chicken noodle) and hers measured the same. I talked to the manager and he said that's the way it comes good ole Jeff. Panera y'all just lost a loyal customer!

I tried the pumpkin muffins, comparing it to the Dunkin Donuts up the street and Panera Bread was the best hands down!

One thing to note, if you want to deviate or add anything to the pizzas, make sure you inquire about the price for the add-on! Highly recommended if you are in the La Plata area and craving pizza!

When I walked in, the host -- who was not very friendly -- asked how many were in my party. I said "1," and she immediately told me I would have to sit at the bar, even though there were several open tables. I politely asked if I could sit at one of the two-top tables, but she said no because they were for reservations. I explained that I preferred not to sit at the bar. Looking back, I probably should have left then, but I was hungry, so I stayed. Once seated, I asked for the crab dip, only to find out they no longer had it. I then ordered the lamb chops, which I had enjoyed during my previous two visits. This time, however, they came out extremely pink and undercooked. I was shocked. The waitress told me they "don't cook them well done," but offered to take them back and have them cooked a little longer. Unfortunately, when they returned, they were still pink/red and literally bleeding. The waitress then said she was going to get "Mama" from the back. I told her that wasn't necessary if the restaurant simply does not prepare lamb chops well done anymore. I was very disappointed and didn't realize things had changed over the last few months. Overall, the customer service was poor, and the food quality was nowhere near what I experienced during my previous visits. The pictures shown are from when she brought them back to me.

I've been here before, but my wife had never been, so when she asked where I wanted to go for…read moreItalian food, I told her, "I already know where we're going." We arrived around 5:30 PM. As we pulled into the parking lot, it looked very busy. There were a lot of people standing outside and several near the entrance. As we got closer, we realized most of them were actually leaving, which was a good sign. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. As it turned out, the gentleman who seated us was also our server. He brought us water and an iced tea while we looked over the menu. We decided to start with the fresh baby kale salad from the specials menu. It included fresh apples, pears, blue cheese, pecans, and a delicious vinaigrette. Shortly after, our server returned with bread and took our dinner order. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and I ordered the Lamb Ragu special with homemade pasta. The salad arrived looking beautiful, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The apples and pears were fresh, sweet, and cut perfectly. The vinaigrette complemented everything without overpowering the ingredients. It was a great start to the meal. One thing I really appreciated was that our entrées didn't come out immediately after we finished the salad. We had a chance to relax and enjoy the evening. Sometimes a salad can fill you up, so it was nice to have a little break before the main course arrived. When our meals came out, both dishes looked amazing. Our server offered additional cheese for the pasta dishes. My wife added a little to hers, but I wanted to experience the Lamb Ragu exactly as the chef intended. The Fettuccine Alfredo was excellent. You could tell they use fresh cream, cheese, and butter to make the sauce. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My Lamb Ragu was outstanding. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the sauce paired perfectly with the homemade pasta. I cleaned my plate. For dessert, we shared a slice of lemon cheesecake. My advice: don't share it--get your own slice. It was that good. The coffee was excellent as well and was the perfect way to finish the meal. We can't wait to return. The food here is consistently amazing, and the service is top-notch. What really stood out was the teamwork among the staff. You don't just have one server taking care of you. If our tea or water was getting low, someone was always there to refill it. Excellent food, excellent service, and a wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

It's consistently tasty and well-seasoned, though a few times there were a few scales left on the skin. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. The vegetable side dishes tasted very fresh and complemented the meal nicely. And surprisingly, the mushroom risotto was actually really good, coming from someone who isn't usually a fan of mushrooms. Our son is a fan of noodles and enjoys the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. We've had the food delivered or we picked it up.

The service could have been better, but I don't think it was the servers fault. I was there for a bday party for around 20 ppl to include a dedicated kids table and 1 server to cover us all. 3-4 meals were not captured and I and 3 others had to wait until after everyone else was served to get our food. In my case I was given someone else's pizza (just pineapples) and the server took mine back and basically sprinkled Italian sausage crumbles on top. The environment was good. Family style bar/restaraunt with that local community staple vibe. Nice. Everyone was friendly, the bar tender was personable and I didn't drink anything just watched a game in the bar tv awaiting for my fam. When I brought this to the server's attention, she went back and talked to the manager who also agreed the broccoli was overcooked so they comped the meal. The initial rating was going to be 2 stars but 9 times out of ten, this place makes really good food and the fact that the Customer Service saved them from losing a regular customer stands out over one bad meal. The server herself was embarrassed when I brought this up to her and I had to advise her this was not her fault, as she was always within reach and not hard to get the attention of. The wife had ordered a salad with chili vinaigrette and bleu cheese was initially brought out in a separate container. When we brought this to the attention of the server, she immediately corrected it and brought out two containers of the vinaigrette. The ambiance of the place was like a family owned establishment and all of the staff were on point and available at all times. It was cozy and didn't feel like we were being rushed while the place was hopping, the parking lot was full and the turnover was very quick. Never felt pressured or rushed, but the process was as smooth as silk. Still one of the best Italian restaurants in the area, which says something for a business that looks like a hole in the wall from the outside.
