Worst panera I've ever visited. Unfortunately this is the only one close to my work, and my five trips have all been awful.

FOOD POISONING!!! I came to the Keizer Station Panera on Christmas Eve 2015. I had the soba noodle and chicken bowl, and I was the only one in my group to order that item. About 4-5 hours later I had horrible food poisoning for about 10 hours. Throwing up, etc. about every 5-10 min. I called the manager the day after Christmas to notify them so they could look into whatever happened so no one else would get sick, and this is what he told me: "well just so you know, it takes about 24 hours for food poisoning to set in so you should look into where else you ate. It couldn't have happened in a few hours. " Actually dude it can happen in even one hour after eating contaminated food. And it did. That soba noodle bowl was the ONLY thing I ate different then my family in a 48 hour time span. He was rude and quick to dismiss me. If someone calls in about food poisoning I would hope that the response would be much more accommodating, and I would certainly hope they would look into whatever happened to prevent further outbreaks. For the record, I wasn't calling angry nor was I trying to get anything out of them. It was just a heads up so they could address the issue. This is also the only poor review I've ever written on Yelp. But I felt people should know since the manager probably wasn't going to do anything about it once he hung up the phone. read more

I actually really like the chain in general, I used to live in the Midwest where there many more locations and the quality was much higher. Perhaps it is because this is a newer location but I have not been impressed. I always use their mobile order app and my order is consistently wrong or not ready. Usually it's small things like giving me bread instead of the apple I ordered, or a half portion of dressing on a full salad. What really ended it for me was my last two orders haven't been ready, so I sat in the lobby, assuming they would put it on the shelf any minute. After about 10 minutes I ask the staff for my order. They get their manager, who tells me it's been ready just not out on the shelf. And proceeds to "check my order" by pulling everything out of the bag and onto a counter filled with paperwork. No gloves, touching my bread slice and utensils, then repacking my bag. Obviously if I'm using the mobile order, I don't really want to interact with someone because I'm on my way home from a long day of work, definitely hangry. The first time this happened I assumed it was a fluke. The second time I realized it must be their policy if the customer'a order isn't ready. Hey corporate panera... FIX IT! Just have the staff grab my overpriced food so I can get the hell out! read more

Finally Salem gets a good chain restaurant/bakery! The breakfast soufflés are incredible. They are definitely my favorite thing to eat at panera. I just wish they served them all day, because I have trouble getting up early. I also love their signature salads (BBQ chicken one is amazing), and I usually hate eating salads. Their sandwiches are ok, most are pretty mediocre. I did really like the Cuban panini, so I suggest that one. Also the hazelnut cream cheese on almost any of their bagels is a must. Great sandwiches and great soup when you want something fast and easy. The only problem I have with this location is that they frequently screw up the side order I place (EG chips instead of a bread roll). But other than that, everything is awesome here. read more

I was so looking forward to their bomb mac but I was let down over and over again. 1st it was not clean, we couldn't find a table that didn't have shit on it. But the thing that really pissed me off was how lazy the workers were. It took forever to get our food. They didn't do Jack. Food was okay but overall bad. read more

I've been a fan of panera since I lived back east. There bread bowl soups are very tasty. Also a good choice is the pick two. You pick two from half sandwich, half salad our cup of soup for 6.99. They also have a rewards program which I haven't figured out yet but I get discounts and free pastries occasionally. read more

Pretty good food. Being a former San Francisco area resident it's nice to see a place with bread on racks on the wall. Had a smoked turkey panini. It was pretty tasty. It's not quick though. read more

I love panera. It's a great and convenient place for fast meals. There's an array of healthy options that are all delicious. I'm a very big fan of their salads. I don't think the prices are to high. From a business stand point, they are one of the very few if not only fast food establishments that serve food with high quality ingredients. So you get what you pay for. This isn't McDonald's. I give this particular location three stars because, it never fails, they always forget ingredients in my salads. So make sure you check your food. They are great about fixing it though which I appreciate. read more

Usually good but first time at this location. My salad filled half the bowl and was limp. The temperature was set so low in the restaurant everyone was eating outside! Napa almond chicken salad sandwich was yummy. read more

Apparently this is where a the older golfers go to have coffee and a snack. I swear! I am the youngest person by at least 30 years, I'm one of the only ladies and most are wearing Bermuda shorts. I think this is the new place for old men to gather and catch up with one another. read more

Panera advertises clean food but they need to check the residues left on the dishes! Brown stains were in the bottom and lower sides of my salad bowl. They couldn't be seen until I ate most of the salad. I suspect it was due to the balsamic dressing they use on other salads. It was gross as I could scrape it off wool then my fingernail! I reported it to the manager, who looked about 16, and he dismissed it as nothing to be concerned over. I want looking for recompense; just alerting him. I won't be returning. read more

This is my favorite place to eat at Keizer Station. You can always get something healthy and it's delicious! If you want to be naughty there's an entire bakery that will make your mouth water. The service is great and if you say you don't like something or wasn't what you expected, they are very quick to make things right. We like to go on Tuesdays when you can get bagels by the dozen for a great price! And free wi-fi is nice if you want to hang out there and work! :) read more

Great bread, huge selection, several soups, good pastries. Yes, it is a franchise, but above average for ingredients and selections.

Sandwich, soup, and/or salad just isn't for me. My wife loves it. Totally a "chick" place to eat. Not enough food to cure my hunger. The sandwiches and soup are just OK too. Nothing to write home about. There are just too many other much better places to eat in the area. read more

Good service. Place was very busy, but they managed the crowd very well. We still got our food quickly and had a clean place to sit. There was no parking nearby for our RV so we parked aways away and walked down the road to get here. The food was good. Not amazing. We have had better soups and sandwiches at other places but I don't feel like it was wasn't worth it. The kids liked their food. We were happy to be eating fairly healthy. read more

It was great! We ordered different soups (tomato and a chicken cream) the drink I got was Chai tea. The Chai tea was amazing. It was different than the ones I had before, had a odd flavor but oh so very addicting. The pastries we got was tasty. It wasn't as crowded as what others in here has said. 5 stars considering it's "fast food". Slightly overpriced but very fresh and tasty and much healthier choices than other fast food joints. Always clean, friendly, quick. Have enjoyed the Greek salad (my fave), the Italian sandwich is wonderful. The soups are tasty. Why doesn't Dallas, OR have one??? read more

We get the Caesar salad and the bread is good but hard (whatever one that comes included with stuff) any way they messed up my order bad the first time and compensated with delicious cookies. So not a big deal. I agree with another review on bland for the price. The sandwiches aren't something I bother with there menu is too much for me. I'm trying to not back up the drive thru to think of a sandwich that won't fail for ten bucks. I also remember this dudes order being over 50 bucks and thinking geeze lol. read more

Kind of spendy, but good food, healthy options. I wish they had more overall choices, I have to really specialize any order from here to get something that I will actually like. I wish they served bigger portions. I always feel a little lack luster and still a bit hungry afterwards. My wife loves them, but I much prefer other dining options in the area specifically because of the small portion sizes, the slightly too-high prices, and the fact that the high variety of people running the registers inside at the front desk rarely actually know much of anything about their menu. On the contrary, the employees that work the drive through are always great and knowledgeable and friendly! Could be improved by more sauce options, and slightly bigger portion sizes, especially if they make their own bread/buns for their sandwiches etc. Lastly, their cheese/cream cheese danishes are surprisingly pretty good, more sweet than I was expecting, and it was a pleasant surprise for me. read more

Here's major props to Morgan a worker (maybe an assistant manager?) who took time out of her lunch break, while she was eating, to help clean up ice water off our table before it spilled on my lap. Honestly the only thing easy about going here is that I ordered online and it was really easy to order but after that everything went downhill I'm a regular at the commercial st Panera and the service there is fast and everyone there is super nice I've never had a problem there but it was my first time going to the Keizer station one today and I had to wait almost 30 extra minutes for my order when it was supposedly was supposed to be ready more than 40 minutes ago and after waiting 30 minutes for my order that was already supposed to be handed out I finally get it and I get home and the soup was super super cold AND OPEN and for the fruit cup it didn't even come with a lid so fruit was all over the bag it wasn't even in the cup anymore for some reason my sandwich was all soggy ??? And I got nothing of what I wanted as extras on my sandwich I could go on about how rock hard they toasted their bagels but I would just not recommend this Panera as your go to or somewhere you just wanna get a quick bite because it was horrible. read more

I had lunch at Panera the other day and enjoyed a wonderful salad it consisted of chicken, various fruits, nuts and of course lettuce. It was great! Also the service was very good and friendly. I would recommend Panera to everyone. Delicious. read more

I ate at the Panera in Woodburn, OR. Service was better than great. But the stuff I had to eat was so NOT good. I ordered the chicken yaki soba noodle salad with the Thai chicken flatbread sandwich. The sandwich was ok. The salad was just gross. Pasty noodles with a yucky dressing. The spinach was fresh though. Disappointing overall. read more

The first time, when they were fairly new, my experience was awesome. The second time, not so much. The tables around us were dirty for almost the entire time we were there. The food was a little too expensive for the quality. I felt like they are understaffed and can't get to the "little things" like replacing the empty coffee on time. read more

Never been to a Panera Bread before. I ordered a cinnamon roll with extra frosting since it was in the afternoon and I assumed rightly that they had been sitting there all day long drying out. After I got the extra frosting on it and nuked it for a few seconds it was back to being just about perfect. It was no Cinnabon, but it was probably one of the best Cinnamon Rolls I have had other than Cinnabon. I would love to come back and try one of their salads or sandwiches. read more

I wasn't at all impressed with their sandwiches and I thought they were a bit pricey for average/below average sandwiches. I swear I've had better sandwiches at Quiznos than here. i love coming here during the september-november months. their seasonal autumn squash soup is to die for, and so are their adorable pumpkin cookies! their green iced tea is also pretty delicious. the bread that you get with your soup is pretty rock hard, a down-side, that and panera is pretty damn expensive just for a little bit of food. the employees are pretty nice there, and the atmosphere is extremely cozy. i don't mind going there for a snack or a tiny meal, but not a full-blown lunch or dinner, or else your wallet will cry. read more
