Would be nice if they actually have food in stock. For example only have cheese soufflé (which our kids like) in stock about 25% of time.

There is something for everyone here. My fav is the steak medallions with the grilled veggies. Right off the interstate, it is a very convenient place to stop for a quick and really good meal. 100% recommend whether you are a local, traveler, or here for work.

Visually, it's a great spot--beautiful inside and out, an amazing patio, lots of TVs, and an impressive bar with 48 beers on tap plus beer flights. Unfortunately, during our visit, both the food and service fell short. We started with the pork belly bites. They were okay, but the texture wasn't what we're used to--we typically prefer them cooked a bit more. We also ordered the crab cakes, which came as three large pieces on a bed of lettuce (basically a big house salad). After a few bites, we realized they were ice cold. We let the bartender know and they were sent back, but they came out ice cold again. To their credit, they removed the item from our bill, which we appreciated. We then ordered a burger. The patty was very thick and had potential, but the fries were ice cold. Service slowed at this point--it took a long time to get ketchup or any follow-up. We noticed staff eating in a booth behind us while two employees behind the bar appeared busy, which was disappointing. The beer selection is excellent, but my Dirty Shirley tasted off. I switched to a Tito's and Sprite, but it still didn't taste right--likely flat soda that hadn't been changed. Overall, the patio and beer selection are highlights, but the execution on food and service missed the mark on this visit. Based on this experience, I'd give it 2 stars. Glad I didn't order the steak, as I think I would have been disappointed. -- Foodie99

Unfortunately, that decision turned into a very negative experience. Our server was initially pleasant, but that quickly changed. After paying my tab using my phone, I placed it on the table while continuing to play billiards. When I returned, my phone was gone. Using Find My iPhone, I could see that the device was still located inside the restaurant. I asked the server if she had seen my phone, but she denied any knowledge of it and stated that no one had found a phone--despite the tracker clearly indicating it was there. The following day, I returned in hopes that someone had turned it in. When I approached the same server, she appeared extremely nervous, repeatedly using profanity and running into the kitchen before returning and attempting to change the subject. When I again asked about my phone, I received the same denial. I ultimately left feeling defeated. As a solo traveler, losing my phone caused significant stress--I was unable to access flight information, order transportation, or contact family. All of this occurred over a cracked iPhone that is unusable once reported lost or stolen. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and left a very poor impression.

When she returned, we had a chance to review the menu and placed our order for a triple combo. After a short wait while enjoying a warm loaf of bread and brown sugar butter our meal was delivered with an extra tray for us to split the large portion of three meats, beats and fries and an extra coleslaw. The ribs on bone were tender and tasty, the pulled pork a bit dry but flavorful, the brisket was good, but the bread that it was served on was dried out and crunchy. Service was well paced and we enjoyed ourselves.

Whiskey Creek looked kind of busy, but we took that as a sign that it must not be too bad. We were seated quickly and had a nice waiter. Mom just had a cup of potato soup and I ordered a prime rib sandwich. While we waited, we were served some delicious warm bread and some sweet butter that was truly dreamy. Mom's soup was a little gloopey, but it was late in the day. My sandwich was so delicious, it was temping to eat there again the next day. I'm sad all the locations are in areas we're unlikely to run across again anytime soon.
