We live pretty close to the location so we are there frequently despite the terrible customer service. The cashiers are never very friendly and have poor manners. They have gotten my order incorrect a few times and when you tell them they act like it is an inconvenience to correct it. Wish the owner or the parent company would do something to bring this up to the standards of the Panera we know and love. read more

I have been increasingly less and less impressed by Panera here. I got the turkey chili today and it was very gritty.

Ordered bagel and quiche with iced coffee. They were not that busy but all tables were dirty and there were no napkins in dispensers. My toasted bagel came out cold but manager Tory was sweet and gave me a fresh warm one. Had to leave quickly when saw bug on wall. read more

Its amazing how every single time this place gets my order wrong. They need new staff that validates order and make sure everything is included. They never toast my sandwich. My sandwiches are always messed up. They never add my sauce on the side and they mostly forget my free sides. I like Panera food and this is the closest I have so have to deal with it. Worst Panera Experience every. No one smiles, the lady at the register was rude. She made us feel like our orders were dumb and waited until we were half way done ordering to let us know they were out of avocado. When we asked for more green tea we were given attitudes. there was dirty on the sides of the booths and all the tables were disgusting. The only positive experience here was Mike, the assistant manager, he delivered our food for us and was quick to pick up our empty plates... and was the only one smiling! We will not be returning even tho this is walking distance from our home... we will travel to another location. read more

Came here for lunch yesterday for the first time. There was not a lot of space to sit, so I had to stand there for almost 10 minutes with food in hand waiting for a table. I got the grilled chicken Cesar salad. The chicken was a tad on the dry side and the dressing was too watery for my taste. However, there was a lot of fresh romaine lettuce. I was looking at the sandwiches ordered by people I was with and there was not much meat. I feel the prices are too high given the amount of food provided, so I do not plan to go back. read more

went there 11:30 on friday, ordered lunch went to get drink, no ice in machine I told employee walking around she just looked at me like an alien, I saw her in the back by the cookies seems to have ignored me, I said something to a cook thru window he looked at me weird, what a joke, the employees are just there taking up space and collecting a check, I waited for 4 minutes at my table no ice ever showed up at machine, I walked up got a refund on my lunch and walked out, I will not come back, the employees are very I dont care attitude, If they were my employees I would fire them on the spot P/u your check on the way out, dont come back, this is the worst one in town, management needs to be fired because the business is only as good as the laziest employee, I manage 4 highly skilled tradesmen which is different than managing knuckleheads at panera but find people that want to work and pay them better money which will improve their attitudes read more

Went there yesterday for breakfast. Not like Metro Diner but had a great experience and food was good. Love their technology. They have multiple self serve kiosks you can order from. You can even order from your table via the Internet. This had me avoid a line that was 12 deep. Love the system. Food came quick! read more

Not only was my order wrong (delivery) but the delivery girl was totally snotty upon informing me that there is a "corporate policy "against delivering to a hotel room. The person I spoke with after ordering assured me that there would be butter and mayo packets which didn't happen. He was very aware of the hotel situation, and did not say anything about not delivering to where I actually am. The salad greens were brown edged, the steak panini had half the amount that my lunch yesterday had (same exact order, just from the town centre) and the attitude of the driver was ridiculous. Panera is a solid lunch/breakfast chain venue. Short of the best I've ever had but very reliable.

I come to this Panera probably once a week. It's busy, but there's always a place to sit. The service is great, everyone is so nice...and their salads, pasta, bagels, sandwiches, really everything tastes great. Usually this Panera is on point! However today, I placed a pick up order and sent my boyfriend to grab it because I'm feeling sick. They forgot our Mac and cheese, which is no big deal I know that happens.. but when we drove all the way back up there to get it we also received some attitude. I told Tara, the lady standing in the window about our inconvenience and she barely said anything to me just turned to the cooks and called for a small Mac and cheese. I asked her if for our inconvenience I could have maybe an extra scoop of Mac or a larger size to which she told me I could only have a free pastry. I told her I had already just bought two. She thn told me she can't do anything else for me, handed me the Mac and just turned around. No sorry no manager no trying to make sure we wer happy with our experience. I love this Panera so we will definitely be back, but Tara needs to work on her customer service skills bc I will complain to a manager next time. read more

After I picked up my order I wanted some butter and when I went to the butter dish it was difficult to figure out how to open the container. A server was coming up to the station where I was and I asked her if she could help me figure out how to get into the container of butter. She looked at me and said "that is not my job, I am running food right now" and then proceeded to open the butter container and get butter for herself and took off. Well I figured out how to get the butter out of the container by watching her BUT she was very rude and did not want to help me. I am in the customer service business and one thing you should NEVER say is "that is not my job". Very disappointed customer. read more

I have been coming here for awhile but the last time, the lady that I placed my order with was so rude I don't know if I'll go back. She beckoned me and my daughter to approach the cashier to order so I did. Before uttering a word, she asked if I was going to throw a hissy fit. Um excuse me??? She looked at my young daughter and said that she is not good with kids and that I have to make this easy for her. I looked at her, deer in the headlights style, and proceeded to order. By accident I said, grilled cheese instead of Mac n cheese and she said, "oh see" as if I was making this hard for her. We ordered our food in less than 30 seconds and she confessed, "oh that was easy." Befuddled, I approached the manager who said she would talk to her but never came back to offer an apology or anything. My daughter never once fussed or gave her a hard time through it. To be put on the defensive like that makes me want to go somewhere else. Lady taking the order wore a name badge, "B.G." Initials only because she doesn't want to be identified?? Perhaps. Management had an opportunity to make it better but failed to follow through. We ate our meal there and hung out for a little while like we normally do but she never came back. read more

Panera as a whole and this location in particular has gone so far down hill I don't know if it's possible to make reparations. I placed my order at the counter for two Pick 2 meals for dine-in. The food came very fast, almost as soon as I had sat back down. The "salads" were just barely enough lettuce to cover the bottom of the bowl, and had no dressing on them. The croutons were soggy. The soup wasn't even remotely hot. When we picked up our flatware to start eating this "meal," the forks, spoons, and knives were all sticky and dirty. I brought them up to the pick-up window and asked for replacements. The manager(? guy in red shirt) made a very generic, not-even-listening apology and gave me more. The second set was just as dirty. My daughter took them to the ladies' room and washed them herself in the sink. Frustrated by the food, I went back to the pick-up window and asked for dressing for the dozen or so leaf-bits they call a salad. The same red shirt guy again apologized and gave me 4 cups of dressing. When my daughter and I were done eating, we stacked our dishes neatly and put all of our napkins and flatware on the plates, all nice and neat at the edge of our table. Those dishes sat there for a HALF HOUR while their busperson took care of every other table and actually walked by our table and this stack that obviously needed attention FIVE TIMES! This is absolutely ridiculous. I will not be eating anything other than a bagel from Panera ever again. At least you know they can't screw up something that all they do is pull out of the freezer! UPDATE: I sent my above comments to the corp hq of Panera, and again a really lame "sorry" via email and a eGift card for a whopping $10. TEN?!?!?! Doesn't even deserve a star. Went in middle of week about 7 pm. Went with my husband and ordered Cesar salad and 2 baked potato soup. They ran out of baguettes and they said they had dinner rolls. After getting our drinks the sweet tea was not, then there was not a straw in sight. I asked the rude server and she said if they are not by soda machine then there is none. When we got our food they said they ran out of bread. Wtf!!!!! How does a bakery run out of bread. They were making sandwiches and there was loaves of bread for sale. Cut up the loaf of bread. I hate having to qualify my reviews, but this Panera is held especially close to my heart. It was at this Panera that I had a three-and-a-half-hour conversation with my current girlfriend where we both realized that we should be together. I think that this is a testament to the atmosphere that Panera provides. It's a great soup/salad/sandwich shop/bakery where, provided you're not there around noon on weekdays, you can have a relaxing meal and great conversation. The food is very good, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is great and the location is convenient to the Southside/Deerwood/Avenues area. It's a great place to go for a cheap date and a lighter meal without looking cheap or feeling like you didn't get enough to eat, provided that the "date" is at lunch time. It's a little light for dinner, in my opinion, though I have eaten there in the evenings. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good, reasonable meal. read more
