I recently saw a video about the green goddess avocado toast and Im always on the hunt for a good avocado toast so I had to try it. First, barely any avocado which was disappointing and even with the arugula and green goddess dressing, it was so bland. It definitely needs some kind of seasoning. I order from this location literally every day and I do not know why I continue to do so, the order ALWAYS is missing the chips and or the sandwich is ALWAYS not how it was requested. Overall, this Panera Bread was ultimately a negative experience. I stopped in to grab bagels, cream cheese snd coffee. We stopped in to the location and the service was rather lackluster and pretty much indifferent, but hey, it was early and it wasn't like they were rude. They were just...indifferent. Anyway, we took our nearly fifty dollar order to the place where we were doing a training to find that they did not include the tubs of cream cheese. I called the location and explained that they forgot the cream cheese and I was rudely told we did not order cream cheese. Fortunately, there was a market next door and they had cream cheese. However, looking at the receipt, we did indeed order cream cheese and paid for cream cheese and this was one of three different trainings we did in three different cities and we had the same order at three separate Panera Bread locations and this was the only one where we did not get cream cheese. Visited a few weeks ago and had a really good experience so figured I'd go in again while getting an oil change. I wanted to pay cash so I went to the counter. Both of the women working completely ignored me and avoided the counter. After several minutes I went to one of the self help stations and ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich on an Asiago bagel. ( the one with egg sausage, bacon and Benedict sauce) can't remember the name. Once I had ordered the staff turned back up to offer me a coffee cup. Amazing as I was avoided studiously before I ordered. My sandwich came up quickly. To be fair the bagel was toasted nicely but everything else was at best room temperature of cool. I had taken a big bite out of the sandwich and didnt want to be "that person" so I took another bite or two around the edges and threw the sandwich away. The first visit was my first time in Panera in over 10 years and I enjoyed it. My second visit reminded me why I don't go to Panera. Poor service and not very well prepared food served cold. Been here a few times before. Decided to go here for a late lunch with My Wife. I decided to order the new Pepperoni Mozzarella Melt. To My suprise it was very good. It tastes a lot like a pepperoni pizza on a baguette. I also decided to order mac and cheese with bacon bits on top. The mac and cheese was very good as well. The bathrooms are always clean and it wasn't crowded that day. But, I wish they would get that addtional ordering kiosk fixed. It hasn't been working for a while, and I noticed that a lot of customers like to put in their order this way ins of putting in an order at the counter. Parking is another issue, because a lot of customers tend to park in the pick up order spaces and not really have a pick up order, but instead dine inside because they're to lazy to find another available parking spot. I have visited this location quite a few times. The customer service here is always spot on. The food quality is definitely such a delight. Today I ordered a parfait that contained Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries, granola, and what surprised me was that they added honey which to me is an upgrade from their usual parfaits. I also tried something different and ordered a Carmel Latte instead of my regular Chai Tea Latte which was such an delicious change. I am sure to be returning again, if not today, sometime soon! P.S. An Utterly Disappointing Experience at Panera* I've had several terrible experiences with THIS Panera, but the last one was the worst. They sent my order through DoorDash, and it never showed up. (My mistake to do this over and over again) When I talked to their staff, the manager named MIRANDA, she was super rude. It wasn't the first time something like this happened WITH their staff being so rude. They are usually aware of their mistakes and fix it right away. Not abstinent Miranda. She chose to literally FIGHT, start a whole argument with me, the customer. Miranda didn't care at all and was really unhelpful. It's not just about missing one meal; it's about how she treaed their customer poorly. Because of this, I'm done with Panera and suggest others stay away too. They really need to fix their service. I love Panera, but I didn't get it today. I tried, really tried, but it just wasn't in the cards. I placed an online order with the free delivery through Sept. 14 special, at 1:45pm. I called an hour later, at 2:45pm to ask where my order was, and was told another 10 minutes. I called back at 3pm, an hour and a half later, to cancel the order. All the girl could do was yell, "It's not our fault! It's not our fault!" I told her fault matters not, simple fact is a customer ordered food from you and an hour and half later there's no food here. I think an apology and a refund might be better than yelling at me that it's not your fault. She said she was sorry Door Dash did that to me - I didn't hire Door Dash - Panera did. By far one of the most unkept Panera's I've ever been to. It's located right off Baymeadows Dr in a strip mall. When we walked in we weren't greeted like we usually are when entering a Panera. The lady behind the register rarely looked up at us while taking our order. There were lights off inside the kitchen and very few people behind the wall working on kitchen. There was no ice in the soda machine and the wait time to get our food was insanely slow. I've tried ordering curb side pickup 3 times now and they never brought my food to my car after I clicked the "I'm Here" button. Every single time, I have to go into the store and my food is just sitting on the counter and there's about 3 or 4 employees just standing there. I don't understand why they even offer curbside pickup since you have to get the food yourself. Compared to other stores, the food is always sloppily made. The first time our bagels were cut very messily but whatever, that's a small issue... but the second time they forgot every single side item, didn't cut the bagels at all and forgot both tubs of cream cheese. I had to take care of a lunch need for a client business meeting in Deerwood Park, so opted to order online and collect from the Panera location on Baymeadows Road. I ordered the afternoon before at around 4:30pm and requested that the order be ready for collection at 11:25am the next day. I turned up a few minutes early and my order was already bagged up, ready to go. Everything was correct, everything that was supposed to be warm (paninis and soup) was warm, the sides were all exactly as I'd requested (apples and chips, no bread), all the special instructions had been followed (of which there were unfortunately many) and they had even put names on the individual bags for easier identification. I get to the car and thought I'd open the bag to find my bagel toasted, butter and wrapped like most other places do it. I've ordered delivery from this location more than 10 times over the past two years. They've somehow found a way to mess up my order probably more than half of those times. My orders are pretty simple and consist of two entrees with sides, so no long catering orders. On multiple occasions, they've forgotten to add one or more of the sides, given me the wrong sides, or given me the wrong entrees. Once, I got an empty bag of chips. She then proceeded to put me on hold for a manager. Next thing I know she hangs up the phone. I tried calling back 4 more times before getting anyone to answer and finally got the manager, Alan, on the phone. I absolutely love Panera Bread! The food is fresh and amazing! I hate some things are seasonal especially when they become your favorite like, their bean soup! However it's easy to make something else my favorite like the tomato basil soup. I normally get the same pick two, Fiji Apple Salad and soup. You may think that the pick two will not be enough when actually it's a pretty good portion. Their desert section is to die for! What I really like about this PB that they do not offer back home, Md area, is the quick service feature and the fact you do not have to wait in line for your food. I always love Panera's tomato basil soup than any other soup because it's creamy and like the taste. Very hot and love how the croutons just melt into the soup. The Napa almond chicken salad sandwich is very taste and they just can't screw that up. What I really like there is that he have the green tea punch drink and it's very refreshing.
