What ever happened to greeting with a smile. Can't happen if I now have to be my own cashier. I'm not happy that I can't walk into Panera and see a happy smiling face. Panera has now turned into Walmart. You have to self checkout at Walmart too. The service with a smile. It's gone. I pay so much money for the products at Panera bread. And now. I have to do half the work for them. Next thing you know. I'll be cooking my own food. For the record. I ordered a bagel. And they didn't even slice it. That's because the machine wasn't user friendly. And I didn't know I had to check the Alice and toasted box. Now that's something Panera should be embarrassed about. If you are going to use a machine. At least have a prompt pop up that I need to make an additional choice. I'm ashamed of the way Panera is now going to treat their customers. I for one am very unhappy.

As always the salads are very delicious and filling. I ordered a fruit cup this time also. The fruit had some skin still on it and was not ripe yet. It was still hard.

Spicy Thai with Chicken - Whole size

Lunchtime was busy, but there were still plenty of tables to choose from. The line was long, but I ordered at the kiosks off to the left side of the registers and avoided the queue all together. The process was quick and self explanatory and was actually nicer, as you can see images of all the items as you review the menu. I ordered the Spicy Thai salad. I got the whole size and it was very large. Lots of chicken and just the right amount of vinaigrette dressing and peanut sauce on top. I personally didn't find the salad spicy, just well seasoned. I would order it again, but perhaps the half size and get something else along with it. The baguette I was served with it was soft and still warm. The restaurant overall could have used a walk through from a cleaning point of view. There was debris on the floor, tables, chairs - a staff member just needed to walk through and tidy things up from the lunch rush.

Panera coffee club stop in Ohio!!

We are Panera coffee club members. On a recent trip to the Independence area, we stopped by this Panera to use our coffee club privileges while out of town. We ordered on the app, and in addition to coffees I also ordered a sandwich for our daughter, and a bagel and cream cheese for myself. In my order, I marked for the bagel to be sliced and toasted, with double cream cheese. We ordered at 12:30pm on the app, yes during the busy lunch rush, but the app indicate the order wouldn't be ready until 1:10pm. A 40-minute wait for a fast-casual restaurant is excessive. We waited outside, where there are several tables, and luckily many in the shade since it was a very hot day. When my order was ready, my bagel was not toasted, nor was the cream cheese put on the bagel, nor was there double. :-( Our daughter's Mediterranean veggie sandwich was totally soggy, which made me think the sandwich was sitting behind the counter much longer than it needed to be. My husband's app order was just his iced coffee. I waited for his cup to come out to the pick-up area, and it never did. When I asked a busy staffer, she said to just grab a cup and make it myself. Making it myself was fine, but no indication that I was supposed to just grab a cup and help myself was not good customer service. Compared to our excellent Panera at home in Williamsville NY, this particular Panera was subpar. The wait time was excessive, my simple order was wrong and shortchanged me, and the process for coffee club members was unclear.

Gluten-free rolls available!…read more DiBella's Subs is located in close proximity to the Corporate Plaza (Independence business district) and local hotel cluster (3 minute drive). There is plenty of parking in the plaza. My company used to frequently order catering from this location. And so, I decided to try something familiar while in the area. This was my first time at their physical location. Deli Feel: The deli has NYC deli feel - subway tiles and vintage deli art. Think a nice Italian elevated deli. It doesn't seem that there is A/C at this location or at least it's not running at its capacity. There were ceiling fans operating but on a hot summer day it was toasty. The restaurant offers tables and booths. I observed that most guests found themselves comfortable in booths. Around 1 PM on a weekday there was a steady crowd dining in and ordering takeout. Ordering: Your order is placed and picked up at the back counter. Signage is a bit disorienting. Think Penn Station type layout. You can also pre-order online. My order was ready quickly. I observed that other guests had to wait awhile. Orders were not called in the numerical order. If you have a large or complex order or are pressed for time, I recommend exploring online ordering. Menu: DiBella's menu is straightforward - subs, mini meals (5" small sub + side + drink), salads, drinks, sides and sweets. They conveniently highlight seasonal menu and top sellers on their menu. Best seller subs are Godfather, Turkey, and Cheesesteaks. DiBella's Subs are known for their old-fashioned submarines. They have in-house bakery, bake their own bread. They also market Grandma DiBella's cookies. While placing an order online or in person, you can choose your bread, cheese, and topping options. Gluten free menu items are available for all subs. My Order: I ordered 10" DiBella's BLT on sesame bread with American cheese for $11.39. The bread was very fresh and impressed me. The ingredients weren't notable - bacon was burned and clearly lower grade, cheese and veggies were just okay. I wouldn't say that the sandwich was heavy on fillings. The sub was fine, definitely not the best BLT in my lifetime. Customer Service: Customer service was condescending. The employee at checkout made visible unpleasant faces at customers. Questions were not well received from all customers during my visit. Questions were mainly order and menu related. Once it was my turn, I did not know where to look for bread and cheese options as a first timer. The menu was pointed out to me in a very impudent manner. It was really disappointing to witness interactions between customers and employees. Upon exit, I observed another employee returning to work looking very displeased. Hopefully bad service is not part of everyday culture. Catering: My company used to order catering from DiBella's. Orders were always efficient and right. Everyone considered the subs just alright. Bread wasn't as fresh as I've experienced at their location. Overall, it's a fine spot for a casual lunch if you're in the area. Good for catering if you want to treat your staff to something simple. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

I downloaded their app, placed an order for a scheduled time, and it was ready when I got there. I went with the prime rib steak and cheese. Everything was cooked as it should have been. I thought the bread tasted fresher than a typical Subway sandwich. Chips were good. My only complaint was they gave me a bottle of Diet Coke instead of regular and I didn't notice until on the road. Yuk.. but I supposed it was better for me healthwise. Lol. This was my first visit to any Potbelly and I was impressed. I'll eat here again when I'm in the area. I took my father there on Sunday April 19th at 5pm. Before I get started with the negative, I would like the manager of this location to know that they are very lucky to have Maddy as an employee. Now for the bad: when we walked in, at least four tables were filthy. Three tables had their chairs up like they were getting ready to close and there were three dirty tables in the back. We sat at the only clean table. The employee named Katy should no longer be working there. I don't know how anybody gets paid to be that rude to people. She didn't smile she didn't say hello when I told her I didn't come there often she wasn't helpful. I only ordered two sandwiches and drinks. It was a low maintenance order and she literally made me feel bad for making her take the time to wait on me. It was a horrible customer experience. While I was there, some guy came in who had gone home and come back because he was given the wrong sandwich. I didn't hear her apologize once. I took a picture and it's posted on this website of the overflowing trash area. The picture that I posted doesn't include our trash. I had to put our trash on top of the pile of trash. The place was a mess. I will say there is potential in the employee name Maddy she was super excited about the company and how they keep things fresh. She was excited to talk about the company and seemed proud. To the management, this place needs one heck of a makeover in every sense of the word

Anyways, I got the Italian sub (because when in Rome, do as the Romans) the gal did offer to heat my sub and I took her up on it. I'm from Pittsburgh so the lack of Italian food in Cleveland sometimes, and only sometimes takes a toll on me. This was a refreshing find for me. The Italian comes with muffuletta on it. You know, the pickled vegetable/olive mix famous in the French Quarter of New Orleans?... My friend got the Caesar salad but with oil and vinegar. They also have coke products here! I don't drink much pop but when I waste calories on pop, it is only ever Coca Cola :) You can get pizza by the slice to go. The white artichoke pizza slices would've taken 40 mins so I opted for pepperoni. They put my slices in bags and I was on my way. I asked about the weekend hours (so I could bring my boyfriend when we aren't working) they do not have weekend hours. Gotta get here during the week YALL! It is entirely worth the commitment.

I can see why no one else was in the restaurant when we were even though it was dinner time on a Friday. The lady taking our order answered her freaking phone in the middle of my order so I just had to stand there and wait. Wtf? The kitchen and prep area was messy and food scraps were everywhere. The soups all had a film on them too. I got the half turkey bacon club and a tiny cup of chili in the you pick two "deal." (LOL this ain't no deal!). The soup was way too hot. They need to turn down the burners. The sandwich was okay - probably one of the best options on their menu. The bread was quite good. However, they also didn't add mustard to my sandwich like I had asked for. There definitely was a language barrier, but I mean, come on. At least try to be nice to me! The price for what we got was outstandingly bad. It was even worse than Panera! I guess I would rate this Zeats location a 3.5 for food and 1.5 for service. On the bright side, I still had room in my stomach to get popcorn at the theater afterwards...

The large Italian beef was indeed large (I should have ordered the regular; the large is more than any one person should eat) and packed with beef. The portion of fries was big, too. Quick service. Took only a few minutes to get my order. Minuses: While there was a lot of beef, the spicy giardinera was on the skimpy side. Traditionally, that would be piled high and falling off; this was not much and buried inside. The fries were limp; a few seemed not quite cooked through. My first bite into the beef puzzled me. It was mushy. This continued throughout the sandwich. From the pinkish hue of some of the beef, I'm guessing this might be due to being cooked less than I'm used to? In any case, it was disconcerting. And the jus was much plainer than I'm used to, as well. I expected to see flecks of oregano and other spices; this version was darker and seemed to be lacking those. It may be unfair to compare this to my expectations. Maybe, if you're new to Italian beef, you might enjoy this. But if you're looking for a Buona / Mr. Beef / Portillo's experience, you won't find it here.

Finally decided to stop in when I was driving by and noticed "open late" sign. AMBIANCE: Simple cafe with minimal decor. White walls and digital menus. Faux marble wrap around bar and a few chairs are available to dine in. All guests were picking up to go orders during my visit. FOOD: The menu is straightforward. It was easy to review it during first visit and make quick decisions. There are multiple categories including Italian beef sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, pressed sandwiches, and sides. I ordered Philly sandwich ($13), fresh cut fries ($4.25), and two Italian beef egg rolls ($5). I ordered Philly sandwich since it's a classic and I felt like it would be the best choice. The meat tasted high quality. Unfortunately, I did not like any dishes. Meat in Philly sandwich was bland and could use more seasoning. It seemed like something was missing - cheese or something like mayo or other ingredients. It was literally bread and meat. The price for the size did not seem like good value. Italian beef egg rolls were dry both exterior shell and meat. The fries were a bit soggy but included a generous portion. I didn't eat much of my meal. Perhaps other menu items are tastier. The cafe has rewards program through Toast. You receive sign up 25 bonus points then 1 point for every $1.25 spent. Although my points did not calculate accurately, less points were provided. SERVICE: I didn't feel especially welcome and was rushed. The service was very quick, order was available in minutes. It was very impressive. This eatery is a good destination if you're craving quickly served sandwiches. It's especially true later in the day or on weekends when most businesses in Parma open early. I didn't find any favorite menu items but you might!
