And today's world of fast food filled with toxic chemicals and what not Panera bread is probably one of the closest things we have to healthy food, even though they still are not perfect with all the ingredients. It's a step in the right direction. read more

Panera Bread has gone downhill so badly. They got our entire take out order wrong and we had to go back to pick up the other half of our order. The sandwiches were less than half covered with the "meat & toppings". What happened Panera? read more

This is a large Panera with tons of seating. And tons of parking. They have a drivethru option. I was here early on a Sunday and it was quiet and the experience was easy. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have. read more

My Mom and I stopped at Panera today for a lite quick lunch. We ordered 2 items off of the $4.99 menu and were charged almost $25. The food was just ok. Please check your receipts everyone. I am waiting on a Manager to contact me. Unacceptable!!! read more

Slow service and disgustingly dirty inside. Everyone in the "kitchen" has long hair and no hairnet. Employees are walking around like they are in slow motion. Who's running this place? read more

I went to Panera yesterday at 3PM and was greeted promptly as I started using the kiosk. No more cups for unsweet tea (resolved promptly, they keep them behind the counter). Then went to get my tea and they were out. A lady in front of me told them, as she picked up her food. I got my food promptly. Asked them about the tea and was told it was out front (but she may have thought I meant the sweet tea). I took my food to my table and then tried to get the unsweetened tea, still not out front, just the sweet. I went back to the counter and they got me the unsweetened tea from the back. My meal was very good. Quiet atmosphere. However, there was food on the floor and unlike other Paneras I've been to, I didn't see anyone cleaning the dining area during my short visit. read more

The sandwich I ordered today, was sad. Barely any steak on it, there's more bread than meat. I paid 13.00 dollars for just a sandwich and drink. I used to work at Panera and never once did I think it was acceptable for something like this. Team needs to be better prepared and better time management. One star because I was not impressed with them today. read more

The food was great! My bagel was fresh and the iced tea was brewed perfectly! Service was prompt and staff was very welcoming!

Good like any other Panera Bread, but floors and tables are disgracefully dirty. Trash can behind the order counter overflowing onto the floor. No soap in the men's bathroom. read more

The idea that ordering online skips the queue is insidious. I'm still waiting for a sandwich and I see my name dropping down the list as I write this. May not have anything to do with this location, but the idea that app orders get priority over customers physically in-store is ridiculous. Panera needs to do better. read more

Disappointing. They never have anyone to cover the front register. You will have to order at kiosk and half of them are out of service. There are no cups for self-service drinks, the drink station needs some attention. read more

Nice clean Panera. The lady who took my order was friendly. Food came out very quickly after ordering to go. My sandwich was over priced in my opinion and it tasted alright. read more

Panera Bread - counter - Salad Near Me - Hendersonville, North Carolina

First, we ordered at the kiosk and had to wait at the front counter for someone to come by and give us our drink cups - the person working near the front counter saw us and ignored us for several minutes, not that she was extremely busy, putting three loaves of bread into bags; I'm guessing she didn't think it was her job. Then, the Mac & cheese wasn't hot, it was barely warm with cold spots, as if it had been refrigerated/frozen and not defrosted thoroughly. The baguette also had cold spots (not room temp, COLD). I decided not to eat it in the restaurant but to take it home and reheat it for another time, so I returned to the front counter, waited a few minutes for the same employee to offer assistance, but finally had to ask for a to-go container. No, she says - ask at the pick up counter. Again, she wasn't busy, just brushing a few crumbs off of a food-processing table. (I would like to insert here that she picked up a set of keys (car keys or restaurant keys) from the counter where the food was prepared but didn't clean or sanitized the counter where to keys had been.) I waited at the pick up counter for someone to offer assistance. Three employees, including the manager walked past several times without acknowledging me. After about 5 minutes, a different employee stopped what she was doing and asked what I needed and then gave me a go-to container. I asked her to point out the manager - turns out he was the guy who'd walked past me three times. I told him the Mac & cheese not only wasn't hot but had cold spots in it. He offered to reheat it, but by then my husband had finished eating and was ready to go, so I said no, I just wanted him to be aware that there was a problem with the food prep. I also told him that the employee, who was now standing behind him (and again, not doing any work), was unhelpful and needed retraining in customer service. He made no mention that he would talk to her about her performance (or her attitude). I would suggest that he - the manager - needs a refresher course in customer service as well. I will not be back to Panera read more

Ordered online, online said pickup was ready. We show up, only car in line, still takes them 17 minutes. They got my order wrong, go back, get my right order after 5 more minutes. I ordered French onion soup, they forgot all the bread and cheese, it was just onion soup. Super expensive. Not gonna lie and say food was gross, but also never gonna pay a ton again just to wait forever for the wrong order that's overpriced read more

I did it again. Ate at Panera. I was hungry and needed some retail therapy at Goodwill right beside it. I have added another star because of the Greek salad. I'm licking the bowl now. It was perfect. But I do have to point out the empty napkin holders. Also the woman coming from the restroom with dripping wet hands looking for something to wipe her hands on. Kudos On the Greek though! read more

Panera Bread - nice portion accuracy, Covelli is the worst. - Salad Near Me - Hendersonville, North Carolina

This Panera location restored my faith in paneras. Coming from St. Louis, the paneras have become unsanitary and serve low quality food. Years ago, they were great- and coming here was a blast in the past. Friendly workers, fast and quality service, and clean. The building itself is sunny, has a fireplace, and is very open. Highly recommend! read more

For the expense you pay for take out this Panera's service is terrible. The last 3/4 times we have ordered 1 or more items were missing. If you get take-out, be sure to check your bag. Tonight it was a sandwich and two sides. Come on folks read the order!!!!!!! read more

The food is amazing they were so friendly and I love their bread. It was very very clean but

Last time I ordered soup, they messed up the order, they did it again. I ordered chicken Tikka masala soup two times in a row, just to receive the wrong soup two times. This time they gave me beef soup, which is really crappy because I don't eat beef. They also didn't put the lid on right, so it got all over the food in the bag. I think I'm over this restaurant. read more

Panera Bread - Salad Near Me - Hendersonville, North Carolina

See all

This is the closest Panera location to me so I've been ordering here for 15 years though it's 40 minutes round trip. Today, I give up trying to deal with them. Invariably something is missing from my order. Lately though it's gotten so bad its laughable. This time, they sent a salad sans lettuce. See picture. I've taken to complaining so I called and spoke to the manager. I asked if I could send a picture of the "salad" I received. His answer? "Oh, is that the one with no lettuce?" We thought that was strange." Calmly I suggested they might have called to check as it really made no sense to pay ~$9 for slices of onion, 2 peppers, a Tbls of feta and a piece of avocado. He said they should have sent the lettuce separately. Ya think? My problem was with the app which requires one to remove an item they are out of (in this case olives.). I must have removed the lettuce somehow. If this was the only screw up, I could laugh it off, but it isn't. Fortunately, if I have a hankering for something from a Panera, there is another one in town. I suggest others frequent that one also. read more

Panera Bread - Greek salad? - Salad Near Me - Hendersonville, North Carolina

This is the most unacceptable experience I've had at a Panera. I asked for a you pick two with a bowl of Mac instead of a cup. I was given a small. I questioned it. I was in turn educated in a mocking way that Mac and cheese is either small or large. She then rang me up for an additional small instead of refunding the small and ringing up for a large on the you pick two so that she didn't have to take an extra step in helping me get my order correct. read more

I arrived at this location on Tuesday afternoon while passing through this lovely town. I was attended by a lovely lady by the name of Morgan, she was lovely and helped direct me throw my order. Her smile welcomed me and was so warm and respectful. I ordered a chipotle chicken avocado melt and a broccoli cheddar soup. I asked her which pastry I should order and she recommended the chocolate croissant, will definitely be coming here again especially if she will be working there!!! Panera Bread - 5.5 oz sandwich for about $7... Not sure what to say besides, NEVER AGAIN. - Salad Near Me - Hendersonville, North Carolina

I have been 3 times and this is the last. Without a doubt the worst Panera Bread I have been in. The food was better this time, but the service is beyond bad. Had a free muffin for my birthday, got charged for it. They refunded the charge, but I got the takeout bag home, no muffin. I ordered the hot bowl and got the cold one...I guess. It wasn't hot. There is a check list on the takeout bag, but nothing was checked off, and where it says order checked by it was blank. Is this what you pay high hourly wages for? Thanks but no thanks. Food is too expensive to waste money here. The half sandwich was good, the Mediterranean bowl was bland. read more

Have tried getting Broccoli Cheddar Mac and Cheese for take out on three occasions. First two times, I got Broccoli Cheddar Soup instead. They just can't seem to get an order right. I give up! read more

I have ordered from this location at least five times. Each time the quality and consistency have been sub-par. It is frustrating that the quality is NOT consistent at each location. This store is nice and new, but the service is HORRIBLE! For the price, the quality should be much better! I would not recommend this location or the Asheville location! The Asheville location is down right FILTHY! I would never eat anything from there. I came here from a much larger city, where all the Panera's are held to a much higher standard. Here, they simply suck! Sorry Panera, you need to look into this if you want to keep my business. read more

Generally I like Panera a lot for its fresh food. I've given this one 3 tries and I'm done, there are major issues each time and it's unacceptable for the cost. First times I tried drive through and thought I'd go in today and get carry out to see if the order would be better. The good, inside is bright, clean and welcoming. The rest, The order took almost 15 minutes. It was 2:00, there was one order before me, why so long? I paid for a full salad, it filled less than half the container. There was hardly any chicken, I counted 4 tiny pieces. No roll, although it was on the order. I had a free cookie, but it was so undercooked the dough was raw. You could see the entire cookie was opaque and clearly uncooked. $14 for a salad and bottle of water. Unacceptable! read more
