For poor service. We were both sick and my husband dragged himself out to get soup for me and a soup bowl for him. At home, he found he had gotten only a cup of soup despite the bread bowl on our receipt. I called the attendant who said she could not offer a delivery but he could pick up a bread bowl. After my poor husband had started out again, the manager called to say they had made another mistake and there were no bread bowls left. He went home with a loaf of bread and a cup of soup. Managers, I believe, have means at their disposal to makes compensation, but this manager is apparently unskilled in their use. Her offering was paltry. read more

So my office ordered a salad that I showed little interest for. It had walnuts and mandarin oranges, we didn't order enough sandwiches so i forfeited mine to the pharmacist who is one of my favorite people's. All that was left was salad, French roll and cookies. So, it looks like salad was going to be my best friend. The salad was remarkable!! As was the French roll and cookies. Seriously, Real quality food. Everyone really loved their fresh sandwiches. I love Panera Bread!! This location tends to be very crowded for lunch daily. Try to get here a little earlier or I guess a little later. What I usually do is order from their self ordering computers to beat some of the crowd waiting in line. Everything I've tried here is usually good. I usually get the pick two combination and sometimes I'll get a sandwich, other's I'll get a salad. For the second Item, I always get their mac and cheese. It is delicious. Went to Panera bread last night and as I was ordering from drive thru, I have seen a whole family of RATS near the dumpster. From my experience of RATS they are very smart and work together. I used to get their Napa almond chicken salad sandwich and there was so many almonds that they would be all over the package when I opened it. In recent years I could barely find an almond. I love Panera but this location is problematic. They ran out of salad and banquettes. Those are major items. They claimed to have no croutons but when my husband asked for crackers for the soup they said they didn't have any but here is a cup of croutons. So we had a hodge podge salad, no banquettes but paid full price for that. Someone is not ordering and keeping up with their stock correctly. At 7:30 they have no ice tea but refused to brew more. That's taking preclose to the next level. It's way too expensive for subpar food. I get the "its Hemet" attitude but I have no issue driving further out for better food. I really do love Panera Bread. They have a really nice facility and a good selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches. The broccoli and cheese soup is my favorite. The Italian sandwich is super tasty. I ordered to go this evening so that mom could have a break. The dessert selection is always a treat. They have so many to choose from. We've eaten there twice in the past, with dismal food. We tried it a third time today - 3 strikes they are out - we won't be coming back. Over $40 for two half sandwiches, soups, drinks and a cookie. The large sandwich (over $8) had 4 tiny pieces of roast beef on it, maybe 2 oz. The chicken noodle soup (over $5) was overloaded with carrots - hey it isn't carrot soup! I picked out the carrots and I lost 1/3 of the volume of soup. The cookie was hard and not soft at all. We could have had steak dinners at the Texas Roadhouse and had money back for $40. The service was fantastic-drive through, however once I arrived to my elderly mothers home, I realized that a portion of my order was wrong. The items that i did order were horrible. The grilled cheese had a very thin slice of cheese and it was over cooked to the point of it looking as though there was no cheese inside the grilled bread, in thus making it a grilled bread sandwich..The salad which was not the one I ordered was horrible. The chipotle btoasted cheese was hardly toasted-bread was soft and somewhat soggy-and there was almost some cheese on it. I am always courteous to the people who work for places like this. Even if they get something wrong with my order, I'm pretty cool about it. But this place... DON'T EVER GO THERE 30 MIN B4 CLOSING. They seriously do not care about how they prepare your food. I paid $13.00 for a Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT which is supposed to have kale and tomato slices. This sandwich had zero kale, not even some type of lettuce, and a few cherry tomatoes sliced and literally thrown into the "sandwich". It had tons of mayo. So much that it was grossly oozing out of the bread, When I attempted to pick up this slop of a mess, I could feel the sogginess of the bread. It was gross. I had to use 3 napkins to get some of the mayo off of my hands. And the girl working the window was so rude. They way she handed me the bag was like she wanted to throw it at me. Atleast do me the courtesy & let me know if you've run out of something so that I can make the decision of whether or not I still want what I ordered. Maybe I sound like a petty bitch, but $13 is alot for a sandwich. I expect it to, at the very least, be prepared with some care. Rating this place one star is too generous. It is great when you can order at Panera without the long line. Today I wanted to have a salad end a hot day. I got to the window to pay and there was a friendly smile to greet. I was asked about my day and we laughed out how hot it was. Lucy has a great personality and great smile. After I had my order I was asked if I needed anything else. Wow, that was a new one. Panera has awesome food. I love all of the healthy options that they have on the menu, and I find that everything tastes delicious and fresh. Portions are of good size, and in particular I find the salads to be very large, which I love. I also really love their fresh bread, and their pastries are outstanding. Specifically, their chocolate cookies and brownies are very yummy. However, I feel like some things are overpriced here. The pastas, for example, are way too pricey. Service at this location is great. I'm always greeted by an enthusiastic employee, and they never hesitate to help you out with anything you might need. I was in Hemet this morning for an appointment and came by the Hemet Panera to have breakfast. I've been to this location before and have always had outstanding service. Today was just as good. Matt was again who took my order and he is always so friendly and nice. Today he also gave me a complimentary brownie sample which I took home and was delicious. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and also had a soufflé. Both were cooked perfectly. Of course, the hazelnut coffee is my favorite and always super good. If you like your change thrown to the ground instead of handed to you, this will be a great place to visit. I work hard for my money and choose to save. If I wanted to throw it away than I'd like to make that choice. I prefer to be treated well and to have my food served warm. The girl that came to the window never said anything about the long wait.
