Soups salads and sandwiches galore!

Great for breakfast or lunch! You can expect fresh bread and ingredients! Clean and well maintained. Quiet with soft relaxing music. The point of sale kiosk is convenient and there is a real person present to help with your orders too.

I stopped by for a mid-afternoon salad and had a positive experience here. Pretty good service and the food came out quickly. Restrooms were also in good shape. Overall, I had a good experience with the Panera location in mid-October 2023. The location of this Panera in Glen Allen is convenient for folks traveling through the area due to its proximity to the I-95 / I-295 intersection on the north side of Richmond. This Panera also has a nice outdoor space to dine if you're traveling with a dog.

I will say I have no ideas why it's scoring so badly here, the food came out quick and was pipping hot. My order was correct even with the additions I made. The food tasted up to Panera bread quality. My Cons: customer service could be better. The counters was empty with no host to take orders which forced you to use the kiosk but u had a question so that why I didn't want to use the kiosks (it was a slow Sunday and a lot of staff in the building that was talking amongst themselves so I don't understand why no one could take my order) also it is kinda small inside so when it's busy I'm sure that could be a issue. Otherwise Great job Panera!

Fast and helpful staff, but it's so LOUD! I think they turn the music up over the hum of the lunch rush. You can't even hear yourself think!

Best place for a quick bowl of soup and sandwich or salad. Then there is the bakery. Cinnamon Crunch bagels to die for.

Your standard Panera Bread shines here due to lack of any other real options. (I don't consider Applebee's real food).

What an incredible place! Admittedly, the line was really long...but it was Mother's Day, so that…read moreis to be expected. Sitting at the bar, we were served immediately and were able to order food. If you are lucky enough, you will get to meet local legend, musicIan Jimmy Catlett, where you can even enjoy a drink from the menu "What Jimmy Drinks". Luke was a very attentive bartender, server and greeter. With good insight into what is what on the menu and behind the bar. We even got to meet Sara Beth herself (sorry Sarah if I used the wrong one) the SB behind the name! If you don't lead with "Glitter on the Mattress" you are missing out! The atmosphere was welcoming, inviting and full of nostalgic decor.

The bartender Luke was on his game and got me water and coffee quickly there after. The place was busy but everything seemed to work like a well oiled machine. The house coffee is solid and they did have a cold coffee option. The spicy bloody mary with the bacon was one of my favorites - definitely a more homemade vibe which was what I prefer. I also got their current jello shot (lemon and lavender) which was refreshing and big for $3. The menu had a bunch of items that caught my eye - breakfast burrito, pancake stacks, eggs benedict, etc. I went with the breakfast burrito with a side of sweet potato has. The burrito was great - filling but not super large, though I would have loved a tiny bit more jalapenos personally. Even without a meat, it was tasty and well balanced, especially with the side sriracha sour cream. I definitely need to come back to try the chicken salad or grilled cheese or some pancakes because everything looked fantastic. Service was quick, food was great, prices were solid. They have outdoor seating, bar seating, and friendly folks working. I'll definitely be back.

This past Thursday evening, the gals and I shared a bottle of Pinot Grigio and the shrimp fried green tomatoes. For my entree, I opted for the mushroom tortellini which was phenomenal. The staff was kind enough to seat us earlier than our original reservation, which was a really nice touch and much appreciated. I was also happy to see a decent number of gluten-free options. While the main dishes are a bit limited, most of the sides are gluten-free. Now for the food, the crispy chicken sandwich was the highlight of the meal. The Smashburger was also delicious. I ordered the rockfish without the bun, while my dad had it with the bun, and both were great. The beet salad was fresh and flavorful, and the fries were solid. The mac & cheese, unfortunately, was not good at all. On the plus side, the hot cider was delicious. Desserts were a bit of a mixed thoughts. The bread pudding was definitely the best one we tried and really enjoyable. However, the chocolate peanut butter pie was a big disappointment. It was extremely hard and cold (not pie texture), the peanut butter wasn't creamy at all, and it honestly tasted more like a protein bar loaded with sugar. The crust also tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a while--disappointing. Overall, we still enjoyed our visit and many of the dishes were great, but the dessert experience could definitely be improved.
