After using Yelp for several years, this is my first review I've ever done. I'm only doing that because time and time again I have had horrible experiences. The worst is when I had an order delivered to my work one and it was accidentally taken by someone. I was unable to find who so I called Panera. The manager told me there was nothing they could do. That order was almost $50 and they would not resend it or offer anything. I was told that this wasn't their problem. (Clearly the 100% satisfaction on every order is not true.) Today I ordered a bagel and waited 20 minutes. I was standing near the bakery (where the bagels are located), and Girl took my my bagel order to the pick up window on the opposite side. This would not be a huge deal but they did not give me the buzzer to hold and the girl knew I was sitting there waiting for it. Not a single word. I was trying to be nice and not say anything, but I was the only customer and it was only a bagel. These are just a few of my experiences but I've had several more. I stopped coming here for a while and today I was reminded wife. I will never come back to this location and they are truly giving Panera a bad name. read more

Disorganized location - managers have incorrect signs put out for tome of day. Unable to answer simple questions about ingredients.

They need more help and hiring. Went there during evening hours near closing time and floors needed cleaning and dishes were over flowing near trash area. Some fell to the ground and the staff did nothing only the customers picked up the dishes. Different from other Panera Breads we been to. read more

Like others very happy Panera came to Georgetown! Excellent service everytime I've been. I tend to stick with the half and half combo with the soup. The squash soup this fall was my new favorite. The cranberry cheddar turkey was also a good choice. Hope they do well - it's a great option for when you don't want a burger or the Chicken nextdoor! read more

I go here all the time and love it! Everyone is pretty familiar with the panera bread food at one place, it's typically similar at others. Since this location is new the staff is very friendly and very helpful. I love each time feeling welcomed when I go there. The staff makes the difference! read more

We have visited this location close to a dozen of times, breakfast, lunch, dinner, doesn't matter, they are consistently out of their menu items. During a late dinner (7:30 PM), they were sold out of everything on the menu except for soup. In my experience, this supply chain issue seems to be unique to this location, and over the past year, nothing has changed. Overall the quality of food has been good. read more

I always enjoy coming here, the atmosphere is always welcoming! My order comes fresh and delicious, and the service is always pleasant and quick. Prices are a little steep for just a turkey and cheese sandwich, but I know the individual store can't control the pricing. I ordered pick 2 Broccoli Cheddar Soup Half Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT. The sandwich was swimming in mayo and the avocado was mostly brown. the soup was very band and tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer all day. I very much doubt I will ever order from here again. : ( read more

I've visited this location on 3 different occasions and encountered the same problem each time. The service is horribly slow. There are a limited number of people working the register and the kitchen staff is more concerned about their personal conversations than their work. Poor management. Too much standing around while tables need cleaning and serving areas are messy. Ordered breakfast sandwich w/o cheese and a coffee. Took my cup to the coffee urns and found no dark roast or light roast. Turned to staff behind the counter and informed them. No response! Cashier came and pulled urns and said they would have to make dark roast. Stood there waiting, after a few minutes manager comes out with coffee urns and replaces all coffees. Never says a word. As I'm drawing my coffee I can't help but notice the mess around the area. Wonder how a manager could leave a customer standing without saying something and then replace urns without cleaning the area. Not hard to see why employees are just standing around, managers are setting the example. Sandwich finally comes out hot and fresh, just like you'd expect from Panera, WITH CHEESE! Didn't want to wait another 10 minutes for a remake, just ate it. It was good but not what I ordered. Stopped by for a cup of coffee for the road on the way out, noticed the green spout had a Hazelnut tag, decaf tag was on a black spout. Did a decaf/dark roast blend and hit the road. First sip yuck! Hazenut! Have visited numerous Paneras across the country, live in Georgetown and love having a Panera here but somebody better get some leadership in this store or it's not going to meet the Panera expectations and will only catch the unknowing from I75. Good space and good food. My mom was not happy with wonton bowl, but I loved my tomato soup and BLT.

My to-go place for lunch. Love the food, the ambience and the fact that it's popular with families.

Asking for - and receiving - a bowl of hot soup on a frigid night shouldn't be quite so difficult. Three of us had different types of soup and three of us had soups that were not nearly hot enough. Lukewarm at best. And the irony is I don't like particularly hot foods. I took my soup back to the counter and asked for it to be zapped. I was told that isn't allowed, but I would get a new bowl of soup. Of course it was dipped from the same source as my first bowl of soup and it was not hot either. I returned to the counter and explained that I didn't want yet another replacement, but it might be helpful to check the burner beneath the soup because it was not getting the soup hot at all. The employee gave me an odd look, and said that they had just run out of that soup (French onion). I repeated once more that I didn't want the soup replaced again, but that it might be a good idea for someone to check the burner beneath the soup because it wasn't getting the soup hot. Another odd look, total apathy, and a total waste of time on my part for trying to report an issue with food temperature. Never mind that that is a food safety issue. Bottom line is I would never go back to this restaurant. The attitude of the employees I dealt with other than the young woman who took our order, was absurd. The food was so subpar it was pathetic. The turkey on the sandwich did not taste fresh at all, and that whole idea of warming up with a nice hot bowl of French onion soup became a joke. A very bad joke. read more
