Do not go here. I ordered online and the order took way too long which seems to be a trend in talking to the other 10 people also waiting. Then I get my order and it is wrong. It has ingredients I am allergic to so I can't eat it. It also did not have a side. I tried calling and calling and no one answers the phone. I will have to take this up with my card provider to stop payment because I am not paying for something that was not made correctly. I am not sure how this place stays opened. This is the absolute worst Panera I've ever had the misfortune of entering in my life. This is consistent, as well - for the past few years. They must have had some sort of management change, because when I worked in Trevose like 5 or so years ago, I often ordered from Panera, and even used their catering services multiple times - and everything was great. This place is right next door to where my daughter receives speech therapy services. It's convenient, so we stop in there from time to time. The food is honestly disgusting - it's not the same as any other Panera I've ever been to (which makes no sense). The soup and salads are always watery, and the soup is cold. Last night I had turkey chili and it was practically frozen on top. Disgusting. They're also pitifully slow. Like, 20 minutes to make a flatbread pizza slow, and the people who work there are rude and don't care. They must have really high turnover as well because everyone always seems like it's their first day working at any job at all. To make matters worse, a few years ago, there was a terrible tornado in the Trevose area. It completely destroyed several buildings. My young daughter (she was barely 4 at the time) and I were leaving her speech therapy and took cover in Panera. When the power went out, the manager told us all we had to leave - as the tornado alarm was sounding and the weather was only getting worse. What kind of monster would do that? I get it. It's Panera, my expectations are low to begin with, but it's not too much to ask (at their ridiculous prices) for the food to actually be edible. read more

What a disappointment!! We've ordered from here before (for groups of 25 & 30 people) and had good experiences. When we knew we were having more people over again, my wife and I looked at each other and said, it's a no-brainer. Let's go back to Panera. MISTAKE!!! What was previously individually, wrapped and labeled sandwiches organized nice and neatly in serving trays, went to sandwiches that looked like they had been wrapped by kindergarteners, strewn all about the serving tray, unlabeled, and the worst part of all this was the sandwiches themselves, they were terrible. I did not find out about the sandwiches until all our guests have left and I finally had time to relax. I went to get one of the sandwiches, supposed to be beef and arugula, and inside was half an arugula leaf, two paper, thin slices of some type of meat, on two slices of bread which were each half an inch thick. (at the time I thought I should've taken a picture, and regret not having done so. ) An awful lot of bread with nothing in between. I was mortified. I actually emailed all of our guests that evening and apologized for what was served to them. I then emailed this Panera back to inform them of how displeased I was and here it is two weeks later, and still no reply. We spent $455 for this, and apparently that wasn't enough to warrant even an apology. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I'm not only very disappointed I'm now actually pretty upset. Panera? I love this place as an excuse to leave work & meet up with friends from time to time. The place is always clean, & the workers are always friendly and smiling. I love that there are tables & booths to sit at and no one bothers you if you stay for awhile. My favorite thing about this place for lunch, is their pick two options, you can get soup and salad or salad and half a sandwich. I absolutely love their Napa Valley Chicken Salad. Depending on the weather I'll get soup or salad. They also offer an extensive amount of pastries and fresh bagels in the morning. I love the super cinnamon bagels. If you like cinnamon raisin you will love this! They also have catering that I have ordered for work events and a funeral luncheon. They will deliver it to for a $10.00 fee, what's $10.00 when you already have so much to do. They are always on time & I have never ever had any issues with my order. read more

First time here had no clue what to do, ordered on the menu screen and was standing around 5 mins, I walked up to the girl at cashier asking if I take a pager,.. she says it's up to me... still stAnding there me clearly clueless on what to do, the cashier says nothing!!! 10 mins later I happen to notice this man walk past me and go in the back, so I figured okay maybe I need to go there because no one is calling my name. There is a bag sitting there with no slip on it and another guy picking up his food with no slip attached. A worker says u picking up two salads??? Me: yes and I take it. Get home with Someone else's order!!!! Why wasn't my receipt with description attached to it? These people are ridiculous. What a miserable place. Such a shame where this Panera is located, terrible workers that just don't give a crap. I never had this attitude in retail when I was a teen or I was fired. I def won't be back. This Panera Bread location is in a busy shopping center with a lot of tightly packed cars. My Mom and I originally parked in the wrong area for the curbside pickup. We had to move our car and go to the other side of the lot. From there, we checked in that we arrived and it took a little while for an employee to come out, but the gentleman who came out was very kind. I enjoyed my sandwich, mac and cheese, and chips! read more

I paid for hot tea but there was no hot water. I bought chicken noodle soup and the bowl was only half full and the noodles tasted like rubber ($8). The baguette I got was not heated up. It was overpriced and low quality all around. -4/10. Consistent low quality and awful portion size for the price. Should have gotten a can of soup from Acme down the street, it would have been better and cheaper. Do better. read more

Don't go here anywhere even close to closing. I got there at 7:50PM tonight and the entire bakery area was broken down. They close at 9. I asked if they were open and the employee said "yeah". After she was done wiping the counter, she came to take my order. I ordered 2 bowls of broccoli and cheese soup and asked if they still had cinnamon rolls. They were "out". I saw a rack of baguettes behind the employee and when I got home, we had one piece of bread with our 2 bowls of soup. This was over an hour before they close. Very nice PB location. Full use of the electronic ordering kiosks and the mobile app. Very clean environment. Plenty of seating, although the restaurant is much deeper than it is wide, so can seem less open that other locations. I like that they do a good job having all of the soups ready for the lunch crowd. Many other PBs I've been to, I try to order my favorite broccoli cheddar soup and they won't quite be over to the lunch menu yet. This one has been pretty consistent. In my experience, staff has been very polite and helpful. Only giving 4 stars because I've overheard some of the kitchen staff (where you pick up your order) give some pretty hard sarcasm to a few customers that werent familiar with the ordering process. Stopped in yesterday for lunch. I like this particular location, the staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. Today I think we just went with the wrong things. I've been eyeing up the lobster roll for a while so I decided to go with that. My wife went with the steak and arugula sandwich. First the steak, let's call it what it is, roast beef. It was okay I guess. It didn't sit well with the wife. Now the lobster roll. It was bad! Like really bad! Who doesn't toast a bun on a lobster roll? The lobster defiantly wasn't fresh. It had a strong odor to it. At $19.00 it wasn't cheap either. The French onion soup was good, not great. It was a bit on the salty side. I guess I just expected more from Panera. Picture this... Rosemary flatbread with whole roasted cloves of garlic, drizzled with olive oil and served hot with a cambozola cheese. Each bite has you feeling like you have died and gone to heaven! Forget it, because you are not going to get that here or anything even resembling it. Oh they do have flatbreads, but they are so boring! This location is directly across from the Acme that I do my regular grocery shopping at. I will say, the breakfast sandwich is good and they do crack the eggs to order. I like the Vermont white cheddar and the warm Ciabatta combination. I do not ever order coffee out, as I am not into anything other than a good cup of coffee or espresso and usually it does not live up to my discriminating taste for a great cup of Joe! They do have a tasty drink made with fresh strawberries and organic low-fat vanilla yogurt. They make their own bagels and offer a variety of flavors and spreads. They also have a menu of Egg Souffles, I have tried the Spinach and Artichoke once and it was quite good. It had some zip to it, plus the sweetness of red bell peppers. They serve quite a few soups and I am not thrilled with their Broccoli -Cheese soup, but the NE Clam Chowder and the Baked Potato soup are good. I make a lot of sandwiches at home. I have never been inside of a Quizno's, a Lee's Hoagie House or a Subway. Maybe because I grew up on famous Sub sandwiches and do not want the let down. Therefore, I have never had one of their sandwiches, other than the breakfast one. I do like the few breads that I have tried, but you have to get there early enough in the day for the fresh, warm loaves. I love the Stone Mill Rye, with the whole seeds and the Focaccia, sprinkled with sea salt. My favorite is the Ciabatta, but I do want to try the semolina with the sesame seeds, that would make a great tomato sandwich with some mayo. The boy across the street works part time at this Panera's and often fills hubby's tummy with their sweets. He is always thrilled when he knocks on our door! So I want to give them more stars, but for the price I pay when I get their food it really isn't worth it. Is the food tasty? Absolutely, but when you get a sandwich it's about the size of my hand, and you pay full deli prices for it (by deli prices I mean you could get a foot-long hoagie stuffed with meat and cheese for the same price). Their salads are good and I do like how everything is pretty healthy, and the different flavors they put together are what gives them a good rating...some of their flavor combinations are outstanding! Their customer service is pretty good here too which is why I've given them 4 stars. I've never had an associate give me attitude or look at me crossly, and they've always been patient when I wasn't sure what to order. Another note on their customer service portion, I filled out one of their surveys because I was very disappointed with the portion of food I got. I got the breakfast power sandwich and it was literally half a sandwich, so I complained on their survey and about 20 min later I got a call from their general manager in Doylestown. He apologized and told me what I should get next time and offered me a free sandwich which was very nice of them. I rated the flavor as good but it wasn't satisfying. I know most of my complaints have to do with their potion sizing for the price, so ya'll are probably thinking I'm some big man that needs to eat less. Nah I'm a fairly skinny 180lbs 6'2 guy, and I don't require a lot of food to be satisfied, but the amount they give us at Panera is not enough. I will probably continue to come here to try new things, and I do end up getting satisfied ONLY if I order a sandwich and soup in a bread bowl, but otherwise for a quick take out I don't think I'll frequent since it doesn't seem to be enough. read more

I'm never totally dissatisfied with my meals at Panera, but often I am let down. Everything sounds so wonderful on the menu! Once on the plate, the sandwiches seem empty compared to the size of the bread. I don't know if materials are portioned, or if the staff are told to only use a little bit of the ingredients, but they just seem too expensive for what they come with. I do like the Panera Perks card, which often leads to a free treat. The service at this Panera is wonderful, cashiers Ethan and Kelly always have great big smiles. The only issue was when the woman (I couldn't tell if she was the manager or not, black button up shirt) making my smoothie wouldn't look up or make eye contact when I asked if I should wait for it there or pick it up at the window down the isle. She slammed it down in front of me a minute later. That was uncomfortable, and now I avoid her and only ask questions to the friendly staff at the front. They offer Rapid Pick up at this location, which is AWESOME if you are trying to pick something up for your lunch break. Order online, pay online, and grab the bag with your name on it when you get there. read more

I've gone to this location since it's opened years ago, I used to work at the salon upstairs and went almost daily. It used to be amazing with the best customer service but it's definitely gone down the drain. There was no line and it took 10 minutes to even be acknowledged (5 employees walked by us including both managers). I had to take my takeout order back 3x for it to be right. I'm glad I checked it each time before I left. Then the girls at the food counter told my grandmother to wait up front for our smoothie (so she did) Meanwhile the manager was asking where "Vicky's (me) order was", so I said "I'm Vicky, is it a strawberry banana a smoothie?" The mgr responded rudely "no, not you, there's a lady named Vicky up front" I responded explaining that that is my grandmother asking for vicky's order and that I am vicky, that is my order. The mgr rudely reaponds "here" and banged the smoothie down on the counter....... This location needs to get it together. read more

Save your money and aggravation! I ordered 1/2 Steak and Arugula sandwich and a side apple. I received 1 slice of bread cut in half with a bland white sauce, a pinch of arugula, 2 transparent slices of tomato and 1 1/4 slices of steak, and apple for $7.49. I went to the cashier to ask if this is what you get in the sandwich? His reply was, "did you remove anything from it? I then politely ask for the manager and took my discussion away from paying customers as to not make a disturbance. Manager's reply, Panera's guideline are 1.25 ounces of meat. He then asked if I wanted my money back, I did not, just wanted the sandwich. He return with a adequate 1/2 sandwich. Totally unacceptable and a disgrace to serve to paying customers. Although the adjacent neighborhood doesn't do much to provide justice, this is actually a pretty nice Panera Bread. Stopped in at 8am and they had soups, salads and sandwiches, breads and bakery items well stocked, service was polite and attentive and zipped along in synchronancy with the nice crowd that filed in consisting of working professionals who were using the WiFi on their laptops (for not just Facebook!) to retired gentlemen coming in for their morning bagel and coffee chat n chew over the weekend game. Good ambiance here. Portions are not huge but then again it's as expected. Panera uses fresh, quality ingredients and some of it is organic which unfortunately costs more and the idea of smaller portions is not to overreat. The macaroni and cheese is organic and they use organic milk too. read more

As far as Panera's go this was fair. I ordered the chicken salad and Mediterranean salad combo deal. Both were what I expected nothing bad, but just what you'd expect. The star was the 0 calorie hibiscus tea. It was awesome. I went with my mom and although mine was what I expected her meal was not. She ordered the turkey, apple, arugula, and cheddar sandwich. It was good, but the cheese wasn't melted like it said in the description. Just deceiving. read more

We used to go to Panera all the time. Went here a few weeks ago and the floors and tables were dirty. I usually order the Italian combo but they changed it a while back and it's no longer good and it's kid sized. The old Italian combo was meaty and so good. I will skip Panera for now on and go to a local deli instead. I recommend going to a local deli instead because Panera seems to keep high prices and offers less. Pleas ask your delivery driver not to park in the road and block everyone. They have parking right on the other side and the walk is still short. Common sense please. read more

Decent cobb salad. Get the dressing on the side, they use way too much, especially for such a rich salad on it's own. Honestly, often I don't use any dressing on a cobb salad. Think about it: bacon, bleu cheese, eggs, chicken, it's got plenty of flavour going on without adding a heavy dressing to it. It's like 8 or 9 bucks though, which is kind of steep for a salad that doesn't even use decent mixed greens as the base. But, if you're looking for a quick lunch in the area that isn't greasy fast food, there aren't a lot of options that are better. This location has to be the best Panera Bread. Met a girlfriend here, and a very polite young lady gave us great suggestions. We ended up sharing the Chicken Chipotle and Avocado Sandwich and we each got a bread bowl soup, I got the French Onion, and she got the Cream of Broccoli. The soups came with a generous portion of baguette, and were very tasty, and the sandwich was very good. We were surprised to get full from one sandwich and 2 soups, but we were! And very satisfied!
