Turkey bravo sandwich without turkey. I guess that costs extra?
    Mark V.

Purchased a turkey bravo sandwich from this location and received this. Try to fix with customer service and got nowhere.

I love this place as an excuse to leave work & meet up with friends from time to time. The place is always clean, & the workers are always friendly and smiling. I love that there are tables & booths to sit at and no one bothers you if you stay for awhile. My favorite thing about this place for lunch, is their pick two options, you can get soup and salad or salad and half a sandwich. I absolutely love their Napa Valley Chicken Salad. Depending on the weather I'll get soup or salad. They also offer an extensive amount of pastries and fresh bagels in the morning. I love the super cinnamon bagels. If you like cinnamon raisin you will love this! They also have catering that I have ordered for work events and a funeral luncheon. They will deliver it to for a $10.00 fee, what's $10.00 when you already have so much to do. They are always on time & I have never ever had any issues with my order.

The outside doesn't really scream dive bar, but somehow you just get that impression... Meeting two friends here for lunch this past week, surprised me to the innards of Carmen's, It is a lot of bar, covering most of the space, but I witnessed every travel of life inside, from t-shirts and braided goatee bikers, to shirts with ties, to suits and ladies all dressed up for a business meeting, but sliding inside here for a quick lunch and a drink, to folks like me and my two friends, who were just there, casually dressed.. They boast a typical bar menu with a few daily selections, like homemade soup, the sandwich of the day was kielbasas with sauerkraut, which is all right in my book, plus a daily special. TV's and games to play, even a lottery machine to place your bets, should you feel lucky. They have beer and the wines are limited, but what they offered was good enough for Carmen's, they even make martini's unlike the ones your grandmother drank, which totally surprised me, even the dirty ones. Ashtrays are everywhere, to catch those fallen ashes and credit cards are accepted. My friend Joyce had a great looking cheessteak and said it was good and it came with bagged chips, but she got a side of crinkle cut fries with cheese sauce and I snagged a few. Nicole got a grilled ham with cheese with chips, her friend ordered the mild wings and said they were spicy good, but they sure as heck looked meaty, so I bought some to go for hubby and he's loving them. I got a fresh hand made cheeseburger, which was good and nachos with cheese, say yay Kyle! Hey that's nacho cheese! Don't drive by Carmen's a thousand times like I have, very friendly, good enough food and very welcoming, we had a good time!

If you are not familiar with Georgian food, this could be a nice starting point. Each item on the menu has an English description. We enjoyed and shared each of our choices. The Pkhali Assortment brought a plate of spreads made from spinach, beets, leeks, eggplant with walnuts and spices The Chicken Satsivi was chicken pieces served cold in a rich walnut and garlic sauce. The boat shaped bread (Adjarian Khachapuri) filled with cheese and topped with an egg yolk is something you must try. Our main course was the delicious Shkmeruli which was roasted chicken in a creamy garlic sauce. (So good I forgot to take a picture of it !) We shared a sweet jelly-like dish for dessert. BYO and a place where you should make a reservation, at least on the weekend. (Small note: they added a 10% tip to the bill. You can pay with cash or credit card, with cash being slightly cheaper.)

Went on yelp, found this place, and was pleasantly surprised. Walking in the sports bar was a little tight and packed but from the dining room in the back you couldn't hear any of the noise. Rylie was our server and she was the absolute perfect server for us. We are goofballs on a good day and a walking circus troupe on others. She laughed with us, gave us drink and appetizer suggestions, helped my indecisive behind pick and entree, and quickly became part of the family. She is the type of server that you come back to a place just to see. The floor in the main dinning room is pulling apart and is duct taped together. The chairs and tables are flimsy and falling apart. I asked for a blood orange margarita as it was the special of the day. It was not drinkable. It was some sort of powder or mix that was so sour and overly sweet. It did not have any tequila in it. I literally took one sip and left it there. The cheesesteak was good on a seeded roll. It was ribeye and it was done well. Hence tge two stars. The bbq platter had brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, corn and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the best thing on the platter. The pulled chicken was sitting in a bowl of grease. The brisket was big globs of fat. The ribs were okay. They put a tiny line of sauce on each item. The service was rushed and spotty. I had heard good things, so we decided to give it a try. Very disappointed. There are so many good places around this area now, there is no need to go here again.

We found out that most of the people (regulars) who usually come here are on their vacation season so it was not an issue getting a six-top reservation with only a day's notice. The restaurant is huge with at least two mega rooms downstairs and one upstairs. We actually went to the upstairs door to check in only to be told we had to go to the downstairs door and check in there. Once we did, the staff asked if we would be ok with being in the "party" room where there would be a DJ. We were fine with that and the staff was more than happy to accommodate us. Once at our table, the extensive menus made it almost too difficult to decide what we wanted. May want to consider reducing the food options here. My wife and I split a tomahawk steak. Once we ordered it, we were told we should probably move to an eight-top because we would have more space. The place was almost empty at 6:15pm on a Saturday so we got to move and give us some more room. We also had two serving of Plov, a prime NY strip, a roasted beet salad, and a chicken fingers with fries. We added some bread, too, along with some compote. The Plov was some of the best we've ever had with lots of tender meat. Both steaks were cooked to our liking. Fries were killer and the chicken fingers were fine. I did not care for the compote as I'm used to it with fruit still in the drink. At about 7pm, the DJ started but there was no separate party which is what we thought was going to show up. The DJ sang some and played up-tempo dance music but also threw in some known music like Ob-Bla-Dee Ob-Bla-Dah from the Beatles also in the dance music style. So much fun after drinking a lot of our BYOB alcohol. Service was excellent and more than accommodating for us. He even advised when we were getting ready to leave that it was raining hard and we could stay until it died down. The restaurant is colorful with lights and designs on the walls including projector lights and white linen sheets above. The place was clean and also the bathrooms on the lower rear level. $305 not including tip for six adults which included two steaks, two Plov, chicken fingers with fries, three breads, and a compote. I mention a lot with my reviews that I'd come back to a place. I really can't wait to return to Samarkand! It was just a lot of fun with excellent food and service. I hope it's just as good when the place is slammed and full.

They were also able to make any special requests on their device which we took advantage of. There were several menus along a gluten free menu for those who need.
