I've always been a big fan of salad works. I think for $12 they give you a lot of salad and the toppings are big portions. I prefer this salad works to the one in Bensalem. They have more toppings, the place it's self is cleaner, and the service is better in my opinion. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I think the spring mix could be fresher, especially since most people get that instead of iceberg lettuce. read more

I always go to this location on Street Road as it is convenient for me between home and work. It's a cool quiet space, nothing fancy but still nice. I love to sit in sometimes just by myself and enjoy my salad. They do have table top charging ports for your phone/device. The young women that usually work there when I come are always friendly and helpful if I ask them any questions. The location is clean and the bathrooms clean. The parking is easy and never ever crowded when I go, as it's in a shopping strip. I see a lot of other customers use the online pick up a lot. That way you can just order online and come right in and it's right on the shelf for pick up. The veggies and everything are always fresh and flavorful. I usually just customize my own salad. I love to free style and put as many or as little toppings as I want. You get up to 5 on a regular custom I believe. I usually get the Romaine and Kale, then Chopped Tomato, Sweet Corn, Chopped Red Onions, Cranberries, and Sunflower Seeds with Feta Cheese. Of course you can't forget the dressing. I always get two cups on the side, one Balsamic Vinaigrette and one Greek Vinaigrette. Two warm rolls with butter and utensils in the bag. I have not been able to successfully use the Saladworks App to save and redeem points so that is my only negative thing. I've been a customer here for well over 15 years. Salads have always been great and I've never had any complaints. Last night, I went in at 7:40pm to order a salad. I was told that they wouldn't mix the dressing in the salad because they are closing soon and have no bowls left to mix in. Mind you, I was the only customer there, it was only 1 salad so 1 bowl, and there was still 20 minutes until closing. The employee was very rude about it too. While this may seem trivial to some (yes, I could mix in the dressing myself), it was the poor customer service and rudeness of the employee that prompted me to write this review. I really hope this doesn't become the "norm" here. If I see this employee working on future visits I will walk out. read more

Not a fan of this location. The customer service was terrible. Instead of assisting me, the employees were talking amongst themselves and playing on their phones. Customer service is important to me if I am spending my money at a restaurant, and this place was surely lacking customer service. So make it up to the line, with the rude worker assisting me. I say what I want and she repeats the same things over again, I'm like yes that and that. then we make it to the register and she says the price, which is wrong for the salad/sandwich lunch deal that I ordered. So already 2 issues with this place, then when I got my salad and ate it, it was gross, the chicken on the salad tasted rubbery and had a bad taste. This is my go to Saladworks. I love to come here for lunch especially when I'm trying to be good and eat healthier. The staff is always very nice friendly. I love creating my own salad, that's usually my go to. I love that they also offer seasonal salads. During the colder months I love their veggie chilli. I'm not even a vegetarian but I enjoy it more than the meat one. They have a rewards system, and the more you come here the more money you can accumulate. Stop in salad works for lunch after the gym. I ordered the Sophie salad so delicious it has spring mix, blue cheese crumbles, green apples, cranberries, pecans, and chicken. The service was very slow and it felt like the workers didnt want to do their job. We went in there around 1:40 and by the time we got out from ordering it was around 2:05 and it wasn't even crowded I don't know why it took them so long to make the salads and bag them up. On display are wilted, old salads depicting how certain salads will look, if you order one of their own creations, which are freshly recreated to order and range from $7.99 to $8.29, extra toppings are 80 cents, unless it is protein and then it jumps to $1.99. However if you feel adventurous, you can create your own salad, starting with a base of either lettuces or pasta or a combination of both, then you choose five toppings. I wanted to be creative so I designed two different salads, Both started with a blend of romaine and iceberg, if you want spinach it is available. On one I asked for avocado, which meant reaching to the middle of the bar and she said she would get it later, but totally forgot about it, mushrooms, red onions, tuna fish, feta cheese and I asked for the Dijon lemon Capri dressing on the side. The dressing is very lemony, I tasted no Dijon mustard, but it was refreshing and a nice change of pace. One the second one I ordered the same base lettuces, artichokes, carrots, olives, tuna fish, pepper jack cheese and an oriental sesame dressing, it was okay, very sweet and thick, I've had much better. Each salad comes with your choice of a white or wheat roll. Skimpy, skimpy, skimpy on the toppings, I wanted to completely turn around that salad bar and say here allow me to fix my own! For $8.49 it is not a great deal, I mean a tablespoon of this and that blended with a huge bowl of greens does not cut it. Once the gal fixes your salad, another person puts it into a to go container spilling half of it all over the counter, yet the one who made it asks immediately, is it for here or to go, so why not just make the salad in the to go container? And don't even get me started on the lettuce, for a place that is specializing in salads you would think brown leaves should not be served and they chop it all, we found so many pieces of core, including the very bottom root. This store is fairly new so maybe they need to work out the kinks and hopefully they will start by reading my review. In addition to salads, they serve a rotating cycle of various soups, wraps, fusion sandwiches and paninis.They also sell an assortment of cookies and brownies, along with only cold drinks. I took both salads home, dumped both into a large bowl and added a lot more "toppings". A salad bar would make a lot more sense at these prices, where you can create your own, have as much toppings as your little heart desires and hopefully no brown lettuce or cores. read more

I am a very regular customer- I get salad from this location at least once a week (on Tuesdays, the discounted day where salads are 6.99 each), and I am always satisfied with Saladworks. It's one of the few places that I frequent often where they remember my order and my name. Great service. I am always happy with the quality- they do a great job here. The portions are sizable. The only downfall is that the lines can be quite long- but this location is MUCH faster and has far more courteous and attentive staff than other locations nearby (looking at you, Bensalem location...) Also, Saladworks as a whole is a pricey place, especially on days that the salads are not discounted, but this has nothing to do with the location. read more

Went Tuesday right before closing which I usually wouldn't do being at though I'm in the industry and didn't want to keep the staff there on account on me. Even with this being the case then two young ladies were still friendly, talkative, attentive, and productive. Somehow in the past two weeks "topping sizes have gotten stricter." For one of my toppings, i got roasted Brussel sprouts, the first scoop had 3 pieces so I asked for more because I usually get more. She uses that second scoop of 1.5 extra as a another topping. When I brought it up to the cashier, her response was "topping sizes have gotten stricter, you know food prices and all." As far as quality goes, I have to say... this saladworks greatly exceeds that of other saladworks I've visited around Philly. I'm generally not too adventurous in what I order (a chicken Caesar salad) so it's surprising that going to different saladworks locations can make this same menu item taste quite different. I like that this location is very consistent (and good at what they do). I am leaving a 4 star review for 2 reasons: 1) Almost every time I come here, some part of their computer system is down. Sometimes that means you have to pay in cash, or other times you can use card but you can't get any loyalty points in the saladworks app. While I understand this is an inconvenience for the restaurant and staff too, it's been a long time to not have fixed this problem. As a customer, I get 2% cash back from my credit card, and if someone was on the top tier of the saladworks loyalty program, they would be getting 5% off per order in the value of points they get. Add that up, and every time you are having "computer trouble," thats raising your prices by around 7%. 2) The above is probably worth a 3-star review, but the people here are so nice, I'm upping to 4. One time, the individual at the register recognized I was there before when the computer wasn't working and (even though it was still having problems) gave me an old receipt which let me make up a few reward points on the app. Much appreciated! read more

I was super excited to hear about the discounted salads on Tuesdays! $6.99 is the only time I will pay for a Salad Works salad. They are really delicious and hefty, but because of that they are pricy so I usually avoid. Even though I don't often go, I have still been to several other locations, and I was really frustrated with the layout of this location. I like to be able to see what all of my options are before I reach an employee. At this location, you have to walk all the way down the line before you would have seen all of the options. I was trying to look around these poor guests who were ordering their salads just to see what my options are. It was uncomfortable, and I saw other people experiencing the same problem. I just which that the options were on a high menu, or just displayed in a higher place rather than waist level. I have NEVER written a review on any site, but the young lady who answered the phone was SO helpful, & such a pleasure to deal with that she deserves to be recognized! I ordered from DoorDash & the soup I ordered was not delivered. The driver seemed like he couldn't possibly have cared less. I called Saladworks & was offered a store credit, however, after I explained to the young lady that the soup was my husbands entire dinner, she delivered the soup to my house herself! (Which, by the way, was a good 10 min drive in each direction) I just couldn't be more impressed with her customer service. Not only did she deliver the soup, she also did not make me feel like I was being a total pain in the a**, making a big deal over a bowl of soup! This place gets two stars instead of one because the staff is fabulous ( unlike some of the other reviews state) and the store is spotless. Instead of using albacore solid white tuna, they use that disgusting chunk light ( the brown stuff that feral cats turn their nose up at). The turkey melt is served with cheese that isn't melted with cold cut turkey that wasn't the best, then they have the audacity to charge 79 cents for Russian dressing that was lousy. The salad ingredients didn't look appealing & seating could be more comfortable. With bottled water, $20.00 spent for a lunch that simply wasn't worth it. We won't be back. read more

I spent a good 15 minutes listening to a muscular brunette employee bitch about someone telling her she took too long of a break. Interrupting the person who was helping me while they were helping me and then yelling across the entire prep station while I was eating. I mean maybe the sound carries here, but seriously? You're working. She even asked person behind me in line 'you feel me right?' While she was paying. I don't know why this bothered me so much but it's bad for business. This is my favorite saladworks location. They get busy during lunch but they are able to move the line fast. They don't skimp on toppings and are very friendly. On Tuesdays, they do $6.99 salads which is a great deal. Their soup selections aren't always the best and are limited but that's minor. Make sure you download the app to earn points and rewards. I've been to Saladworks before & they are good but when there's a 5Guys right next door I honestly go with 5guys but on that day I wanted something healthy, plus as much as I love burgers I also go the opposite way & love salads. I got the 1/2 salad & 1/2 sandwich combo with the salsa ranch dressing on the side. It was amazingly yummy. It also came with a pickle. The only thing I didn't like was they didn't have fountain sodas because when you get bottled sodas they get warm after a short time & I like ice with my soda. "Caesar Salad with extra croutons". I've ordered it that way hundreds of times, all over the country. And I have never been charged for the extra croutons ... until last night. I decided to try the Saladworks that opened recently near my home. When I placed my order, the server told me that she'd have to charge me for the extra croutons. I went along with it, because having the salad the way I like it was more important than saving 89 cents. As for the salad itself, the ingredients were fresh, the portion size was OK, but the Caesar dressing was very bland. It needed garlic or pepper or something to make it stand out. I was reading a few of the comments about the Feasterville store and felt I needed to respond. I am a 2-3 times a week customer of the Feasterville location. I WILL CONTINUE WITH THIS STORE! When I walk in, the owners, Vic and Maureen, always greet me with a wave and/or a smile! Brandi, their shift leader, is bubbly, business-like and all about the customer! Other staff members recognize me with smiles and "one or two salads today? Wheat wrap as well?" Most know what I usually order. THEY CARE, that is of utmost importance! The staff at this location is conscientious about the presentation, preparation, and completeness of each and every order. I have no doubt customers think there should be a walk- in, walk-out process to getting a salad. I have been there on days where that has happened. I have also been in the store where I can see (because I am a little more observant of what is going on around me) there are on-line or telephone orders being prepared, toppings being re-filled, and other things going on. The customers in line are also ordering multiple salads. Saladworks is NOT a fast food restaurant and customers who think it should work like one need a re-education. This location has been well received and busy since it has moved into the Acme Shopping Center. Vic and Maureen have instituted $5.99 Tuesdays, and for two hours on the weekends. There is currently a contest to raise money for local schools where Vic will be "Kissing a Pig". The ingredients were fresh and the salad was quite yummy. In terms of service there is a lot of improvement needed. The staff when I visited was slow and not attentive. They were very disorganized and weren't communicating with one another. When I walked in there was no line. Within a few minutes it was backed up and customers getting frustrated. The cashier kept having to run in the back leaving customers on one side staring at their food that was ready on the other side. There didn't seem to be a manager running things.
