    Broccoli cheddar soup!

I keep thinking of this Panera as new, but based on reviews, looks like it's been here for 5+ years. This drive thru Panera is located right on Rt 10 in East Hanover. I stopped in here for the first time today for lunch. One positive is that there was plenty of seating at lunchtime. I ordered a favorite, broccoli and cheddar soup. No complaints, soup was good and hot. The French bread served as a side was excellent. Panera is always a good lunch option. I'll stop back here again when in the area.

I love stopping here when I'm in East Hanover. My sip club cups always come out asap, and the ingredients are fresh when I order a sandwich. Folks at the drive thru are friendly even when I'm only getting a beverage. Lots of older folks frequent this location to chat and eat. It's adorable :) Definitely a good space for meeting friends or getting some work done.

We ordered Mac and cheese, half salad and half a BLT to go. We requested utensils and received one fork and three knives. The Mac and cheese was great but the BLT lacked the B. Seriously disappointed. I basically got a tomatoe and lettuce sandwich with 1 slice of bacon that was folded. For $30- I expect better. Long time customer and will not be back.

Two observations about the food experience at Panera in 2022: 1) The food portions have gotten much smaller while the prices have been raised. The bread for the sandwich is small. Maybe 4 1/2 inches. For $6.71, you would expect a little more, maybe I'm wrong. Yes, inflation, but this is a slider, not a sandwich. 2) Their kiosks don't work well. They aren't secured tightly to the stand so they are loose. The software glitches and the screen is non responsive when trying to check out. We had to start over again. And again. This isn't the only time, either. Has happened often enough in the past to take notice. There isn't a person manning the front counter most of the time, so abandoning the kiosk and just going to order in-person isn't the quick solution. 3) I feel for the staff since it seems like this location is understaffed. It may be hard to recruit employees in this environment and those that are working are left to pick up the slack.

Came here on Friday 1/27/23 a little after breakfast hours were done. Did my order at the kiosk, grabbed my drinks, and headed to pick out a table. The table needed to be wiped down and I found wipes nearby to wipe the table and I was able to set up my workstation and grab my meal upon being ready by the table buzzer. The salad was good and so was my half of the sandwich. My first time trying the dark roast coffee it was pretty good and the papaya green tea was refreshing.

This Fuji Apple Chicken salad is the truth!

The only reason this Panera bread didnt get 5 stars from me was due to customer service. I was ready to place an order and had to wait for two employees to "wrap up" their conversation! Although it wasnt too long, a customer should have your full attention. I ordered the Fugi apple chicken salad. Man (or woman), that salad was soooooo good! I highly recommend it. This location is super spacious and has a cozy feel to it as well. If you work from home and need a break from your 4 walls, I would spend a morning there. Overall it was a decent experience.

Waited 25 mins, left with no food. Ordered using the Panera App for in store pickup. Entering the restaurant, my name was second on the screen. After 25 mins, the lady in front of me had not been served, I had not been served. The expediter told the lady in front of me they were going to remake her salad. I asked the lady if she'd been waiting long. She nodded yes. I left with no food. The lady in front was still waiting. The were five employees in the restaurant. Two were sitting at dining tables using laptops. Training? I will not be back.

They only reason I have this place 2 stars is the the staff was so nice. They need to do a better job of cleaning the place though. I was not there during a busy time and almost every table was dirty. Hey guy in the orange hat that delivered my food.... you walked by dirty tables over and over while delivering food to the 3 tables of people in the whole place. Then you stood in the back and talked to the "cook" as he was working away. If you fight help clean what's up front then I can imagine what's in the back you don't help with.

It was supposed to be a turkey blt sandwich, but it was not!! It looks more like a salad with hard avocado..

Ordered an unsweet tea, and it was quick, but the tea tasted like stale coffee, probably made with hot water from a coffee container.

Didn't get a chance to try it out until yesterday and man, we were missing out. The yunnan rice noodle soups are so good, and different, from the more commonly found Asian noodles; ramen, udon, pho, etc. Not going to say that it's better than the others but it's absolutely fantastic that there's another option now when you just want a warm, comforting noodle soup. Especially since winter is coming. The setup is more akin to a food court than a restaurant so the small seating area is shared with Kam Man and all the tableware/utensils are plastic and disposable. There's a door to the outside basically right there though so unless you're seated to either side of it you get blasted w/cold air every time someone enters or exits. For my first visit I went with their "pickled pepper soup rice noodle w/beef stew" (A8) and it was very good. The soup was flavorful and the noodles were perfect; fresh & not mushy at all. And digging through the bowl was like going on a treasure hunt for lil' yummy morsels: a quail egg here, some wood ear there, a random piece of thinly sliced ham, good stuff. However, for those of you w/nut allergies, they do add roasted peanuts to some of their dishes so you'll probably want to tell them to not add them to your food. The only minor neg with the dish was that the beef brisket was a tad tougher than I'd like. But if brisket isn't your thing, they also have the same dish but with "beef roll" (A7) which I found to be an odd translation for basically thinly sliced beef. I was so enamored w/this noodle soup that I brought my wife the very next day. I went with the same soup base but w/fish fillet (A9) this time and it was just as good as the first time. I will definitely have to come more often to try out their other offerings. I also noticed that they have rice based dishes as well in case you get tired of noodles. So anyway, I'll definitely be visiting a lot more and I really hope they stick around longer than the previous eateries at this location. And while it would be nice (if not really feasible) to get your food in 10 seconds as their name implies, so far their food has definitely been worth the wait.

It's sort of Flushing very West. Often we are among the few diners who are not Asian. Food is excellent, authentic and reasonable. Yes I said reasonable. Quantities are large and often you take home leftovers for tomorrow. The kitchen is very accommodating to vegetarians, or just don't eat some food like pork and those who want less spicy food. Great dishes - I go with several mostly adventurous eaters so here goes - Cumin Lamb, Dan Dan noodles, Beef and Tripe with Chili Sauce (true confession I love tripe), Hot and Sour soup, Hunan Fried Fish with Spicy Sauce, Hunan Whole Braised Fish and Sichuan Mapo and Sichuan Fried Fish. One absolutely wonderful dish is Eggs with Tomatoes, which is sort of street food in China, as well as in many other cultures. It's simple and delicious. I've taken to making it at home using a New York Times recipe. But don't think the "regular" dishes aren't prepared with the same care and aren't as tasty. They are. The setting is pleasant and they have several tables with Lazy Susans so you can swirl food around. Service is prompt and quick. And if you get a dinner, you get ice cream!

We ordered a lot of dishes including a whole fish.. all the classic Malaysian dishes and everything was fresh and definitely tastes like home. Wasn't too big a fan of their assam laksa (lacked a bit of flavour) but everything else was good. Staff were also really accommodating for all the kids and gave us the room in the back so we had a semi private area away from the other patrons. Their menu is massive with almost 200 items literally numbered! It seems to be a neighborhood staple and I was looking forward to trying it. I started with the Malaysian Iced tea which was pretty sweet (as expected) but paired nicely with the meal. The Roti Canai is the most popular item here and I can see why. It's flaky and buttery and pairs well with the sweet & savory chicken potato curry. The Penang Satay Mix is an absolute skip. Apparently it's "charcoal-grilled" and there's no way that's possible. It was super dry & chewy. On the other hand, the Penang Char Kway Teow - this was my favorite dish of the night! The flat rice noodles were cooked perfectly and soaked up all the flavor from the soy sauce & chili paste. The shrimp & squid were super fresh and my only complaint is there wasn't enough. The Chili Chicken was simple yet full of heat, spices, and could've gone well with a vegetable dish. Super affordable, filling, and quick service. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating!
