I have always loved Panera for their soups, however today I stopped by for a drink and ended up trying their new Italian steak and mozzarella. It was entirely too salty, and greasy. Due to mobility issues, I use the drive thru usually. The restaurant on State Bridge Road consistently gets the orders wrong. I have ordered ahead and at the drive thru speaker but workers put the wrong food in the bag consistently. On the few times I have gone inside, the order tends to be correct. read more

I came here for lunch midweek on a chilly fall day. I tried the new " Rustic baked potato" which is pretty good with a good amount of potatoes. Service was good taking the order but delivery of my food took longer than expected. No biggy but have to dock a star . One thing people like about Panera is the free Wi-Fi and comfy booths which is nice . The decor here is nice with modern tables and classic art work on the walls. Okay Egg Soufflés - time to get back w the program. We knew we had to get in line before 7am to get one and many times you had already run out anyway. But at least they were really good because they were made fresh. Now that you've gone to the frozen stand-by's, they just get chucked in the trash. These are absolutely horrible, or not cooked right or something. This is the most disorganized Panera I've ever visited. I placed an order on the app and waited over 25 minutes for a premade pastry and an empty coffee cup. I waited in the designated pickup area, as instructed, until I finally asked someone about my order. I was then told I could get it from the cashier. If I didn't speak up, I would still be waiting. Once again- awful. This time it was early afternoon. I ordered, came to the window and paid. Then sat at the window waiting on my food for 10 minutes. No one in line ahead of me or behind me the entire time. I can see employees inside walking around, talking, hanging out. No communication about my order or what's going on? This Johns Creek location is the worse!!! The place is filthy and there are food stains on the furniture and walls. We ordered the soufflé for breakfast and they were undercooked (the pastry tasted raw) and it was not fresh. They are offering only two varieties now. This location should be closed down immediately and a complete renovation should be done. Never going back to that location. read more

Panera service is going down the drain, but this location is the worst I've seen. I've only visited this location twice and both experiences were terrible. Both times I ordered the bagel dozen in advance through their app. I got the email it was ready. If you haven't noticed with any food apps, they start putting together the order after they send out the notice that it's ready (so it's never ready when they say they are). Of course Panera is like this, so I went 5-10 minutes after I received the email. The first time, it wasn't ready, so the lady started putting together the bagel box after I asked for it. She got it all wrong, putting in the wrong bagels and not giving me the cream cheese and coffee. The second time, it wasn't ready either. When I asked for it, they said they couldn't find my order even though it was about 15 minutes after I got the "it's ready" email. The guy asked for my name like 10 times then ended up going to the manager. The manager comes out and she finds my order in the computer and says she'll put it together. She finds out the order was printed out right next to the cashier and the guy just ignored it this whole time. Well, when she started putting together the bagel box, they ended being out of some of the bagels I ordered but she doesn't bother telling me. She even dropped a bagel then picked it back up. I asked if she had all the bagels I ordered because I didn't want it if they didn't. She kept repeating that they have everything from my order, but it was clear they didn't (I asked for 5 plain bagels, but she only had 4 then told other employees they're out -- one of those 4 was one that dropped on the floor). So I just asked for a refund if they didn't have what I ordered. She was very rude about it. This whole time she never apologized. When I was leaving, she was very sarcastic with her "have a better day". I will never visit this store again. read more

This is without a doubt, the worst Panera I've ever been too. It does not matter what time you go or if it's busy or slow, or if you dine in or do the drive thru. It takes minimum 20 minutes to get your food and chances are, it will be wrong. Ordered bagels online. After getting them home,I noticed they felt chilled as if they were refrigerated or previously frozen? Definitely not just made. I went to slice a bagel and it was like cutting a sponge,the knife literally wouldn't cut through the rubbery texture. Very weird. The time before we ordered they were fine. So something has obviously changed. So all I could do was return them for credit. One of the employees,and the manager told me they have a new baker making these,hmmm interesting. So I arrived here to enjoy a nice and casual lunch for one and upon arrival I waited 4 minutes and when I realized no one was coming I just decided to head to the ladies room to wash my hands. Now some locations have a station where you can order your own food and a ticket will print out and you don't even have to be waited on by the person in the front. But this location did not have such a luxury. ‍. Now it was pretty quite inside being not that many people so I didn't see a need for the wait but whatever. More people came in after me so when another associate came to the front to take orders she called "next guess" (which was clearly me WAITING behind the guess in front of me. But I guess these people didn't care and the associate begin to take their order until I said "oh really". Then she said oh ma''me you can come. As if it was a after thought. So decided to just stay in my line and wait. Since clearly the whole damn family was in a rush. Ironically they were still asking each other what they wanted so they weren't even ready but still felt the need to jump in front. Anyways I proceeded to place my order for the Cesar salad with a side of their kettle cooked potato chips and a glass of lemonade with my favorite cookie of theirs the "candy cookie ". The food of course did not take that long being a darn salad which was Just OK. So to sum things up I will not be rushing back to this Panera bread. Being a foodie I understand all of the restaurants at not the same even given the same name. Some are just superior when it come to customer service and some are just not. Visited this Panera location and order a dozen bagels. The place was very busy. The employee that helped me was very friendly and personable. He was wearing gloves for sanitary reasons but unfortunately he never changed gloves between customer transactions. He would pick up bagels with the same gloves that he used when he handled cash payments. I watched him do this while helping multiple customers. They were definitely short handed and I did not see a manager to make him aware of this situation. So beware if you visit this location to be on the lookout for employees handling food while not using proper sanitary practices. read more

This is a good Panera Bread location. Drive thru is always pretty quick and service is consistently good. The only thing I find a little odd is that they don't have a huge inventory of soufflés. I think every time I've ordered a soufflé they always have to check if they have any left despite the time I go. Sometimes I get one. Sometimes I don't (because their sold out). Regardless, if it's a popular item it would be nice if they have more prepared. On that note the spinach and artichoke soufflé is really good. Kind of pricy for the size of soufflé though. They have a pretty decent sized breakfast and lunch menu. I like the soups but also feel they are a little high priced for the amount you get. I tend to notice that their sandwich fillings are pretty skimpy. Wish they gave you more inside the breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They have an outdoor seating area and are pet friendly which is a huge plus in my book. This Panera location is in the same plaza as Target and Home Depot. read more

Visited at 6:45pm on a Sunday night. Not very busy as we were the only ones in line. Placed our order and sat at a table. At 7:20pm I started standing by the order station along with at least 5 other people waiting on orders that came in after us. Food was being prepared but there seemed to be a complete lack of organization as no orders were being completed. There were at least 6 employees working and a manager so staffing was not an issue. At 7:30 I walked over to the cashier to request a refund. I had to wait in line for my refund as others were already requesting a refund. I received my refund and my family left. As far as I know people are still waiting on their food days later. The manager was apologetic but I have to admit she could've done a better job organizing her employees to get the orders finished. Why do I continue to give this location a chance? IF they even give you what you order the soups will be ONLY broth with nothing in it like it's been sitting for hours bottom of the barrel servings. Great place to study and relax! Panera is pretty popular with most people these days. They have tons of options at Panera ranging from sandwiches, flatbreads, soups, and bagels to name a few. The have tons of seating and you'll always be able to find a power outlet if you need it. This place is one best locations to study. They offer free WiFi. Just make sure you actually order something before free loading off their resources. Service here is fast. You can order and get you really within minutes. There are times where it can be a bit busy, but it's never to the point where you have enough time to question your life choices. Ha-ha. Overall, I have always had a good time at Panera. This store is worthless. Every single time I order something online they wait until I get to the store to tell me that it's not ready and the wait will be 25 minutes. I don't understand how they never have anything ready. The male Manager could care less, no apology, just simply says he will cancel the order.... He needs a serious lesson in customer service. Is Panera going bankrupt? Every time we visit or place to go orders they are always out of something . We actually went in to eat and the place looked trashed . We placed our order and the cashier did not know the menu and told us they are out of bread . This is not the first time we have heard this the last few times we have ordered we have been told they are out of bread. For a place with 'bread' in the name seems odd they are consistently out of bread. This time they seem to also be out of regular cups . When I placed my order they assume I wanted chips, never asked because remember they are out of bread, ok I am following the rationale . For my husband's order they made a giant leap- he ordered a pepperoni mozzarella melt that he reluctantly ordered. He does not like coming to Panera because it is always messy and always messes up his order that it is beginning to get comical . They let us know our order is up and they hand him a flat bread pizza . He tells them he ordered a pepperoni mozzarella melt SANDWICH they just all looked at him and said well we are out of that bread so we made your order as a flatbread pizza . Who does that ?! He refused it and got his money refunded and waited patiently for his family to eat . Guess that is the last time we give them any other chances . What is sad is it isn't even isolated to this location it is both locations in this area except the other one in Johns creek has this nice mold like substance running down their walls. If I could give no stars I would! This location had a drive thru that they closed due to staffing. I still ordered from them and used curb side pick up that they advertised. The problem is that you still have to go inside to get your order....waited for 15 minutes for soup...they should not offer curb side if they don't have enough staff to deliver. read more

I don't know why it isn't as good as other locations I've been to but I think it comes down to prep/warming up/cooking. I have tried the delivery and 2/3 orders have been late. The first time they threw in some cookies and a free delivery to make up for the 50 minute late delivery. This time the food was so cold when I received it. We ordered corn chowder, 2 different kinda of sandwiches (steak and cheddar, turkey blt), and green goddess salad. Food was really really good - the soup was really hot which I really liked. We all really enjoyed food so much that we decided to get cookies too - They are doing promotion that 4 cookies are $6.19 (not 100% sure but it was $6 something). The tiny half salad had a bunch of yellow and rotten greens. I couldn't eat it. Drove all the way back to complain which isnt my normal. They only refunded me my salad (didnt even include refunding tax). Panera has slowly gone downhill over the years. The reward program is not rewarding at all.
