Egg Four Cheese Soufflé

Okay Egg Soufflés - time to get back w the program. We knew we had to get in line before 7am to get one and many times you had already run out anyway. But at least they were really good because they were made fresh. Now that you've gone to the frozen stand-by's, they just get chucked in the trash. These are absolutely horrible, or not cooked right or something. The dough isn't done, the eggs seem more iffy, and I don't care if I have to get there early, at least I was able to go somewhere where it was worth it. Change back and maybe just make a few more please? We're begging.

‍ Well leave it to having a high expectations because of a previous visit to this chain at another location. So I arrived here to enjoy a nice and casual lunch for one and upon arrival I waited 4 minutes and when I realized no one was coming I just decided to head to the ladies room to wash my hands. After coming back out some one was finally at the front to take orders. Now some locations have a station where you can order your own food and a ticket will print out and you don't even have to be waited on by the person in the front. But this location did not have such a luxury. ‍. Now it was pretty quite inside being not that many people so I didn't see a need for the wait but whatever. More people came in after me so when another associate came to the front to take orders she called "next guess" (which was clearly me WAITING behind the guess in front of me. But I guess these people didn't care and the associate begin to take their order until I said "oh really". Then she said oh ma''me you can come. As if it was a after thought. So decided to just stay in my line and wait. Since clearly the whole damn family was in a rush. Ironically they were still asking each other what they wanted so they weren't even ready but still felt the need to jump in front. Anyways I proceeded to place my order for the Cesar salad with a side of their kettle cooked potato chips and a glass of lemonade with my favorite cookie of theirs the "candy cookie ". The food of course did not take that long being a darn salad which was Just OK. So to sum things up I will not be rushing back to this Panera bread. Being a foodie I understand all of the restaurants at not the same even given the same name. Some are just superior when it come to customer service and some are just not. This location still has some training to do. Good Luck.

My boyfriend and I both ordered sandwiches. I'm pretty sure my lettuce was old. It did not taste right.

Salata - Greek Chicken Salad & Chicken Caesar Salad

Salata

(105 reviews)

t's not a new concept, the custom salad. Salata gets a 5 because it sticks to its lane and does it…read morereally well. The servers behind the bar tend to be energetic, friendly students from the nearby high school. The owner is also friendly. Everything is fresh. They have vegetables, fruits, nuts, proteins, and anything else that might go on a salad. Some categories of ingredients are extra, such as proteins. These are clearly marked so there are no surprises. They are generous with whatever toppings are requested. Ask for more of what you like. They do not weigh the salads they combine for you. They sell by container. Fill it as you will. I've seen people take advantage to the point where the container will barely close but the server just smiles. It must even out. The restaurant is spacious and well lit. Plenty of natural light during the day. The minimalistic design just feels right. Value is great. You really can't go wrong.

Man it is a heck of a salad... huge even... loaded with all the things you want and none that you…read moredon't, but I got one the other night and it was $30+ once it was delivered. Now I certainly got everything I wanted.. and it was loaded to the brim (next time I'm asking for more corn) but the price just about threw me for a loop. By the time it delivered the cost was way high! I guess maybe it is better to eat in. I mean it's a salad... the main component is still lettuce... but honestly if I had one complaint it was that there was not enough lettuce. I guess I loaded it up with so much stuff there was less room for lettuce? In the end it was a great tasting salad... fresh, loaded, and fantastic.. just a bit on the pricy side especially once delivered. But next I'm time I'll just go and eat there!

Kanpeki Tonkatsu - Chicken breast donburi

Kanpeki Tonkatsu

Whoa we fell in love right away - the menu, the food, the service, the space - we will be back for…read moresure. I learned about the place from Instagram - not sure if they still have the $10 lunch specials but that was the lure that got us to check it out. They are located in the same shopping as the Medlock Regal Cinema. CHICKEN KARAAGE COMBO - $10 The karaage was good. Came w/ a mayo-like sauce for dipping. Cabbage salad served as a starter - learned later that you can opt for the potato salad instead which we'll try next time. Combo also came w/ a miso soup which was delicious ... one of the best miso soups I've had! MINCED KATSU COMBO - $10 This was the highlight dish for sure. The katsu coating was perfection, and the pork inside was not at all what I expected ... it was minced and interesting tasting ... we loved it! Served w/ two sauces, and pickles. Also came w/ the cabbage salad as a starter, and the miso soup. Next time I'd like to try the Croquette Combo w/ the potato salad - and eventually try all their dishes. The menu looked really good!

Plenty of parking in plaza where it's located. They have a mix of booths and tables with a call…read morebutton at each. The menu is pretty straight forward, they offer different types of tonkatsu in a variety of sets. Each table also has a container for chili oil (not spicy, but more garlic flavored. Reminded me of the chili crisp), matcha salt, and spicy red pepper for the curry. We got: - shrimp head appetizer ($4) for like 12 pieces of fried shrimp heads. I love fried shrimp heads so this was an easy decision - chicken thigh tonkatsu set with extra side of curry: the curry was $3 extra and comes on the side. The set itself comes with miso soup and cabbage salad with a sesame dressing (you can sub it with potato salad). The salad is unlimited refills but the potato salad is not. The dressing needed salt so after adding some of the matcha salt, it was perfect. The curry was solid. The chicken thigh was super crispy and moist, it was the best cut of meat at the table (even among the premium tonkatsu). Would def get that again!! The set comes with 2 sauces, a standard sweet ish katsu sauce with a sliver of wasabi (?) that was perfect when mixed and yum yum sauce. - pork katsu don: the rice was great underneath. It was already seasoned and adding some matcha salt and chili oil made it even better. The pork was a bit dry but the outer fried part was crispy and good. The egg on the don was well cooked and delicious. Overall get the chicken thigh!!
