I ordered a half shrimp po-boy and a cup of lobster bisque. The portions were as expected and the quality of the ingredients were just fine. The 'Lobster' bisque doesn't have a taste of lobster whatsoever... call it simply bisque... a creamy oily soup. The Po Boy has grilled or boiled shrimp... I totally expected fried shrimp which is the Po Boy classic. The bun, lettuce, tomato and onions were good. The sauce rocked. The staff was very friendly. I can't speak on service or ambiance because my work ordered office lunch from here to go, but I'm sure it's comparable to any other Newk's I've been to. This chain is very nostalgic for me--the first time I ever experienced it was when I was in college in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I used to go frequently, so it has a special place in my heart. For those unaware, Newk's is a sandwich/soup/salad joint similar to a Panera. I ordered my usual: half sandwich & soup pairing with the portabella veggie sandwich and the chicken tortilla soup. Newk's located in Norcross, located in The Forum Peachtree Corners, is easy to locate. It's right next to Ted's. Shopping center, so parking was free. Despite lunch time, we placed our orders and got our food relatively quickly. We sat up front so we could talk and watch out the window. We placed out orders at the counter and are free to sit anywhere. They only have 2 cup sizes. Water cup and kind of large beverage cup. They sell tea and coke products along with regular and sparkling water. Coworker said the tomato basil soup was good. It came out more room temp than hot. It had pieces of tomatoes and a creamy texture. There were about 8 croutons sprinkled on top. It had a good flavor. I would order again. I also got a half turkey avocado sandwich on partisan bread. It was pretty good. I would say tad bit too much, mayo. I would get light mayo next time. read more

Had I known that Newk's Eatery offered curbside pickup I would've ordered from here during the pandemic much sooner. The online ordering was simple and upon arrive in the designated pickup parking spots the friendly Newk's staff promptly came out. Appreciated how he had a mask on. Made me feel safe. I was very pleased with how they packaged up everything (hot items separated in a paper bag and everything else packed in the regular bag. They provided enough utensils and the portions were very generous! I'm always impressed when a sandwich and soup shop doesn't skimp out on their sandwich toppings. -Newk's Q sandwich- very well made, generous portions, and the bread was soft just the way I like it -Soup- came out nice and hot, and in a generous sized container -Greek salad- generous portion even for a half salad that I ordered. Vegetables were all fresh. - 5 cheese Mac & cheese- yum! Generous portion and came out looking fresh and hot. My only advice would be when you order online that there is a designated spot to add any notes (ie, extra napkins, extra dressing, extra utensils, etc). I've noticed most online ordering platforms that restaurants are using does not have a spot to add that in with your order. Definitely check out Newk's for your next meal. This was my second time going to this restaurant. The first visit was pleasant enough. This visit started out that way, but ended up being disappointing. I came in about 15 minutes before closing. I was greeted promptly by the cashier. I inquired about the loaded potato soup. I advised the cashier if the soup had bacon bits. She advised it did not, they were just sprinkled on top. I thought great and advised to leave them off. I placed my order and had pleasant conversation with the cashier while I waited for my order. It seemed to take a little longer than I expected, since no other customers were waiting, but all in all, I was pleased. The disappointment came when I got home. Imagine my surprise when I stirred my soup and thought I saw bacon bits. I thought to my self, no, I must be hallucinating the green tag on the bag stated no bacon bits. So, I took a mouthful and sure enough, bacon bits! Well, that was such a disappointment. $9.00 down the drain. I threw the soup away. I visited for the first time today with a friend for lunch. She works in the area so this was a very convenient place for us to meet. We met around 12:15 and I was easily able to find parking! There was not a long line and we were greeted quickly. There is plenty of seating. This restaurant has a cafeteria vibe. When you enter the building you place your order at a register, pay and have a seat. The order is brought out to you. LOVED: - How quickly we were seated -How fast the food came out - Food was decent for the price. -portion sizes are great. I ordered a Cobb salad and substituted the dressing for balsamic. I was disappointed the Cobb did not have any tomatoes. Otherwise it was a great meal. My friend decided on a pizza (which looked very, very delish) and a side salad. I ordered the ham&swiss half sandwich with a side of loaded potato soup, the soup is currently my holy grail however, the sammich... ehhh. You can tell they used the same knife to cut the tomatoes and onions, unless that's the yellow sauce I tried wiping off the sandwich lol so, painfully overly oniony! Hear my out, I don't hate onions, but when that's all you can taste, I can't even try anymore. atleast the soup is yummy! The customer service was good and they were friendly. They a great variety of healthy choices on their menu from salads, soups and sandwiches. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite thing to order is the Newk's Q sandwich and a Greek salad. The sandwich is so delicious and the sauce adds a nice taste to the sandwich. Their Greek salads are very good especially the dressing. They can be a little pricey but it's worth it. It's too be expected when you want to eat healthy. They have a deal where you choose two; get an entree and a side. Which is the better option to me. Half a sandwich and a half salad that's very fulfilling. I stopped at Newk's Eatery in Canton, Georgia after a doctor's appointment. I had never eaten at any Newks before and really didn't know anything about them. I ordered their Italian sub meal and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely delicious. It had perfect flavor, just warm enough, and was truly outstanding. I got a cup of fruit with it instead of chips and it was a great variety of very fresh fruit. The price was extremely reasonable as well. They employees were all very kind and welcoming. I will definitely be back. The only negative I can say about Newk's is there isn't one in the town I actually live in and there needs to be. For my first time experience, I enjoyed my meal very much! I ordered the Newk's Q pizza. It was so delicious! The lady who took my order was friendly and she said that the pizza I ordered was one of her favorites, too. Hehe! Newk's Q ($8.79) - grilled chicken breast slices, white BBQ sauce, crumpled bacon, tomato slices, mozzarella and provolone cheese, and garnished with jalapenos. The pizza comes out like a personal pie. Not a slice. Later, I came back and ordered another pizza but to-go. I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza. BBQ Chicken ($8.99) - grilled chicken breast slices, red onion, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese with sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. Garnished with fresh cilantro. I'll be back to try the sandwiches. I have been to Newks prior to visiting this establishment (the one in Canton). I have always enjoyed the food, but always a bit disappointed in the customer service (this goes for both locations). We walked in today for a work meet, so there is 5 in our group which we told them it will all be on the same tab. The first person ordered, but then it came to a halt... because the 2 employees (the guy taking our orders and 1 other lady) decided to start talking while we were standing there. We just stood there waiting for them to finish their conversation before he turns back around and said 'sorry, what would you like'. Hmmm... by this time, not only the 5 of us is line, there are others behind us! I feel like maybe that conversation could've waited instead of having us standing around just waiting. From the multiples time I have gone to newks, I generally get the half and half. I usually get the hald newks q sandwich and a soup. Whatever the soup of the day is. They have about 4-5 soups a day and everyday there is something different. I got the crab and lobster bisque. It was good, but I came across quite a bit of shells, and could use a bit more crab and lobster. read more

I've had Newk's before at company events, and the food was always good! I really like the pesto chicken sandwich. But yesterday, my coworkers and I decided to go to this location. It's a cute, quaint restaurant with ample seating. Had a great mixture of music playing. Everything was clean. The ordering area was confusing, as there is a giant digital menu to look at in front of the cash registers. I felt that I was blocking traffic, but I had nowhere else to go. The lady at the register wasn't the best--she seemed annoyed that we had such a large party (there were 6 of us). When we got our food, only 4 of us received our meals. A few people ordered pizza, which understandably took a bit longer. I ordered the grilled salmon ceasar. The salmon didn't look the freshest. It was more of a grayish pink color. I know that stores will add coloring to meat to enhance the appearance, so I shouldn't complain, but it still looked unappetizing. The croutons, however, were some of the best I ever had! You can tell that they were made in house. They weren't hard as nails, but had the perfect amount of chewiness without being too soft. I had some brown leaves, but I've come to accept that even in the freshest of salads, you're gonna have some brown ones. Back to the pizzas. When they arrived, one of my coworkers asked if she had received the correct one, since she'd never ordered it before. The server said yes. Meanwhile, one coworker still didn't get hers. Turns out that they gave the first coworker the second coworker's pizza. No big deal, we just ordered another one of the same.
