An absolute wreck! After it taking 8 minutes to get our order taken, we got our drinks. Some 17 minutes later we didn't have our food. We walked up front to see it sitting on the counter. The "manager" goes on to tell us that's he's the dishwasher and line cook and he's doing the best he can with the dumbasses provided to him! What a way to run the business. We requested a refund, not sure if it went through. This guy should never run a restaurant or be in any sort of customer service capacity! We tried Newk's for the first time through a DoorDash delivery. One of us had the full Craft Pesto Chicken with Broccoli and Cheese soup. The main complaint about the chicken was it was dry. Other than the dryness, the soup was very good. I had the Farmer's Market sandwich without onions and I added steak. There was suppose to be a pickle and I think they forgot it...unless they put some pickles on the sandwich itself. The pickle selection was free, so it's not a big deal. My side was a bag of Sun Chips, which made for a great pairing. I would definitely order from them again! Next time, I want to try their strawberry cake. read more

The food was pretty good. I got the Newk's Q which is my favorite. The wife and better half, got a soup and salad. It came out in a relatively quick manner. The reason for the 3 star experience is because of the friendliness of the staff. They were not mean or short, they just didn't go out of their way what so ever to make sure the customer is taken care of. With there being numerous other places to eat around this location, you have to go above and beyond to separate yourself. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. I genuinely HATE giving 1 star reviews, just because I can usually find something redeemable even in bad situations, but there was nothing redeemable about my trips to Newk's. To start, the staff taking our order was downright rude and unhelpful while we were trying to decide what pizza to get. When it got to our table, our side ceasar salad had soggy croutons and brown lettuce. That was sadly the best part of the meal. The spicy Sicilian pizza came out to our table, and it wasn't even cut into slices. Just one large pizza in one piece. The pizza, when we finally did get the staff to cut it into slices, was undercooked and flavorless. I decided to use this location to cater a work event of mine and I was very impressed. They have a great variety for platters and different options. I had them deliver it to my office and they were right on time. The delivery person even set it all up on the tables for me! It was a great amount of food for my budget. I fully expected Newk's to be another Panera-ish place...and I guess it kinda is. Sandwiches, salads, the uj. No bakery and no breakfast, so that is different. BUT - the food we've had there so far has been really good. Way better than Panera. The Greek salad was super fresh and the chicken on top tasted more like real chicken breast sliced thin (you know how Panera's chicken is like deli meat). The dressing was a little oily, but not bad. Needs a little something, but was still good. My husband had the Italian sandwich and really enjoyed it. I may have to try it next time because it did look really good. One of the best features - online ordering. I'm all about it. Allows me to customize the shit out of something without having to tell someone all of my high maintenance modifications. Big fan. Tried this eatery on the recommendation of locals. The chicken salad sandwich at 7.99 is large, tasty and filling. I brought half back for tomorrow's lunch. I also had the Caesar side salad, which was huge. Heavy on the dressing, if I get it again I would ask for it on the side. We checked out this new Newk's location while visiting family over New Years. I've eaten at Newk's a couple of times before and always enjoy it. This trip, we had a few items that were new to me: I had the club sandwich, my dad had a BBQ pizza, and my wife had the quinoa and kale salad. Each one was delicious. The restaurant is a nice place to have a relaxing meal, and the service was really polite. The best part was the location since we were able to have a nice lunch while out shopping. It's hard to find a place that several people with varying tastes can all find a meal to enjoy, and Newk's did that for us. It was a huge hit. I'll definitely come back on my next visit. read more

We love Newks, but this was our first time at this location and the service was terrible. We were served by a girl with a bandaid on her face (didn't get her name). She was extremely rude when we were ordering (telling us we couldn't order the way we always have ordered at other locations) and acting like we were the biggest inconvenience in the world. Then, she brought my husbands salad and we started eating. Several minutes later she comes back out and said "that's not your salad I gave it to you on accident" WHILE he was eating it. She then took it away to throw it in the trash even though he had been eating it for a while. Others around us also commented how rude she was to them. Although the order and receipt said "Mediterranean Pizza - No Onions", of course it came out with onions on top. Although the Pizza seemed small for the price, it had a ton of toppings, almost too much. On the other hand, the salad portions were quite large for the price, and everything was fresh. Overall, the quality and taste of the food is what you would expect from a fast-casual restaurant, although I wish the staff would pay more attention to details, such as specifics of an order and cleanliness of the restaurant. I have been eating at Various Newks across the south for 8 years and I'm disappointed to say this is a negative review based on the service at this location. We ate here at 2 p.m. on a Saturday, a slow time with only 4 tables filled. We waited 20 min for our food, after we had watched it sitting in the kitchen for 10. When the food arrived it was cold and dried out, the cucumbers on my salad were actually brown. I picked up from here for lunch since my husband loves this place. I got a soup/sandwich combo and he got a chicken salad sandwich. I guess this is my mistake for assuming that a restaurant is going to give me all of my food at pick up, but his chips weren't in the bag and I didn't check until I got home. Every single time I order something for delivery it is incorrect or missing items WHICH I've paid for...also when I try to call in and do pick ups the male manager is so rude and kept disconnecting the call. He continued to say my card # was incorrect and then hung up on me so I figured the meal was void. Later on, something told me to check my account and I HAD BEEN CHARGED FOR THE MEAL! I called back soon as I realized (5 hours later) again was placed on hold for a manager and the no one ever came to the phone then I hung up and called back this time he came to the phone and I explained I needed my card refunded for a salad I never received. He went back and forth with me after I said I was hung up on or do connected mid call and I had no idea I would He charged. They never called me to say it was there He starts telling me they don't have phone numbers to call back but the salad was sitting there and I could still come get it. NO SIR WHY would I want a salad w salmon that's been sitting out for hours and hours and hours and why would you offer that to me? And why proceed to Charge someone card without calling the customer back bc the phonecall dropped. They most definitely have called ID. SUCH LAZY CUSTOMER SERVICE and so inconsiderate I am currently still waiting on my card to be refunded for a salad I never got. If you're doing a pick up or delivery I suggest you choose a different location this NEWKS IS NOT THE ONE. We have talked about coming here for quite awhile because of several recommendations about other Newk's locations. Tried it last week and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed. I ordered half a roast beef sandwich and a half Caesar salad. What a disaster! They advertised the roast beef to be thinly sliced. It was not. It was thick and chewy, but the bread was good. The salad dressing was yummy, but my salad was swimming in it which made the whole thing inedible. The person I was with enjoyed his meal so I did not make a big deal out of the crummy food, but I won't be back. I would like to think this establishment will read these reviews and take a hint. Just terrible. Poorly trained staff. Took 15 minutes to get a Greek salad and I was one of 3 patrons. When it came it was an such an awful greasy mess . Lettuce in far too much dressing, 2 tomatoes, some onion, and a piece of artichoke. Feta and olives no where to be seen. If you aren't going to hire people that know what they are doing, at least give them a picture of what it's supposed to look like.
