Our favorite smoothies in the area! We love the strawberry banana and the blueberry banana. Not too sweet, quite a lot of fruit and not overpowered by froyo. The menu says they use turbinado (brown sugar), so a bit different than those that use frozen yogurt. Easy to order ahead and reasonably priced. Our go-to smoothie place! read more

I don't know I waited so long to try this place! Took our kids after church on a Sunday and ate inside. We got the Detox Green Smoothie, Kiwi Quencher, Thai Chicken Wrap, kids cheese quesadilla, and kids chocolate/banana smoothie. The Thai chicken wrap was warm, which was a nice surprise on a cold day! It was a little spicy and had the perfect crunch. Delicious! Kids loved their food too. And I felt a smidge healthier after a few sips of the detox smoothie. After school snacks are now easier thanks to Tropical Smoothie! We have been here on three occasions and each time it has been different. It went from amazing to ok in less than two weeks. There is not a lot of parking, there are a few tables, it is very clean and very popular with theHigh School kids. We have ordered the same regular Green Sunrise and the kids Quesadilla. On our last visit the smoothies we full of chunks of ice and tasted like water, unfortunately, we didn't taste them until we got home. Maybe they were just having an off day, I will make sure to taste my smoothie before I leave the store. read more

This restaurant went above and beyond. The service is incredible, in the middle of the rush they delivered our food after our order never appeared on their system. Apparently the system we used to place the order is not one that is used by them (the system still allowed it on our app). They apologized and immediately prepared our order no questions asked. Note: their smoothies are a little more icey than some of the other places, but they still make a great smoothie....especially if you don't have expectations that they're exactly like other smoothie places. This was my first visit to this location, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, and the service was quick and efficient. I had the Baja wrap and jalapeño corn- amazing! I was excited to try this place, but note I am only reviewing the smoothie. It's close to work, and I love a good smoothie. When I walked in, the employee behind the counter was super nice. She asked if I needed help making a decision, and I let her be my guide. One of the smoothies she recommended was called the Detox Island Green, and detox sounded like a good idea, because I don't have the best diet. So this smoothie was comprised of spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana, and ginger. The smoothie ended up being really tart, and I mean tart, very acidic. It was so acidic it was causing discomfort to my tongue. I finally after several sips decided to ask for some sugar to add to it. With the addition of pomegranate syrup, it definitely improved the taste, but it still wasn't great. It was tolerable. The other thing that was the issue was the consistency, which was quite icy, not smooth. I figured I just ordered the wrong smoothie, but my coworker got one and brought it back, and gave me a sample of it. The taste was a little better, but still very icy in texture. I didn't care for it. And that's too bad, because they offer BOGO smoothies on their Happy Hour, which is 8-10am. As far as food, they have many options: bowls, wraps, flatbreads, sandwiches and sides such as fruit, chips, and slaw. They also offer a kid's menu, and breakfast foods. The food choices actually sound good, and maybe they are. Chicken is a big staple with their food menu. Buffalo chicken bowl, thai chicken bowl, chicken pesto wrap, carribean jerk, baja chicken...they all sound delicious. Maybe I'll come back to try the food, but the smoothies were a disappointment. read more

I'm a fan of Tropical Smoothie Cafe! I've been waiting for this location to open ever since I saw their sign go up on top of the building. The staff is great and the food is fresh and delicious! They use fresh ingredients and they load them up! The portions aren't the largest on the sides and wraps; however their salads and smoothies are pretty good portions and everything I've tasted here has been very fresh. I like the smoothie flipflop deals they have. Hope they have more promos like that. This location is a tad hard to find but it's right next to an apartment complex. It's in the same plaza as TinDrum (coming soon). My favorites so far: -Hawaiian BBQ chicken on flatbread- So good! Hope they keep this on the menu. -Jerk chicken wrap- great flavor and has a nice kick to it. -smoothies (my fav is the Island Green). -Southwest breakfast wrap -side kale salad Definitely give them a try! Jamba Juice was my go-to whenever craving the traditional smoothies. No Jamba here in the area, so gotta venture out. Tried their pina colada flavor (my ultimate hangover chaser), was not sweet at all and didn't meet the expectation, but my bad for ordering something off the menu item. Seems like they have all these other mocktail flavors to try that will erase the original experience. Having to pay an extra for a boost was a small surprise, would be a nice gesture to add in a free boost as an extension of customer service and a marketing effort. read more

We went there for their soft opening. Everything we had is so good and fresh. We tried the Acai Berry boost, Avocolada and Island Green Smoothies. It's not to sweet and fresh. We also tried the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Thai Chicken wrap, Breakfast wrap, Caesar Salad and Chicken Apple Spinach Salads. We like them all. The manager and staffs are very nice and helpful. The Decor is spot on. Definitely would come back. Can't wait for their grand opening this Saturday June 10. read more

The Watermelon Mojito and Guava Margarita smoothies are awesome! I've been seeing their commercials almost non-stop and I'm glad I finally decided to try them. You can tell they're fresh and they go perfectly with the heat of summer. I highly recommend both and personally like the Watermelon Mojito slightly more. I hate leaving negative reviews on restaurants, especially during a global pandemic, but this location leaves a lot to be desired. Each time I do the whole mobile pick up for a certain time I am left waiting 10+ minutes for my order and the staff has this "I mean who cares" attitude. Normally we're waiting on the smoothies which means our food is cold. Order ahead is meant to have you in and out, but it seems like this location starts making your order when you are there to pick up. If I wanted to wait or wanted that experience, I would would skip the whole order ahead and go in and order. But kudos to this owner -- the store seems to be busy a lot. read more

Cute little cafe with a wonderful and helpful staff. I've had the Hummus Veggie Wrap before - deemed it the best wrap I've ever had - so I wanted to try it in Bowl form. If I were to describe both the wrap and the bowl in one word, it would be "heavenly". Not only do they have great wraps, salads, and bowls, but their smoothies are absolutely delicious. I've only tried the Chia Banana Boost with Peanut Butter and just WOW. Definitely recommend it. A good healthy food option for those, like myself, who prefer eating healthy when eating out. I frequent this location often as it is near my job and I have never had a complaint. I placed on online order recently and was extremely dissatisfied with what I received. The Sugergreen Ceasar Chicken bowl had old chicken on it and my kale and apple slaw was wilted and brown with a sour taste. The workers there did not seem to care much about how I felt. I was told that I could get a refund & after a lengthy convo was told that I would have to come back to receive it. I am 5 mins away & refuse to drive there for $8.00.
