Just tried to call ahead for sandwiches for 8 people and the employee we spoke with Ashley was very rude and directly said that they were too busy and short staffed to fulfill our order and they were under a lot of stress because their district manager was present. I work in a hospital and understand short staffing, it is never an appropriate excuse. At least tell us that they are busy and there will be a bit of a wait. So it's the closest Panera around. The food is good and consistent. Their service is not. Do not go during lunch time. The place is packed and 2 out of 5 times your order will be missing something. If you get take out, ALWAYS check your ORDER!! The nice thing is if you call right away management will help you. However, it would be nice if the order was correct in the first place. read more

We got lunch take out from the store on Sunday and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. One of the items we ordered, the salad with the dried apples, normally comes with pecans and I asked to have those left off. The cashier asked if there was an allergy, which I confirmed. When they bagged up my order, they wrapped the sandwich on cranberry walnut bread in a separate bag so as to prevent cross-contamination - this was such a thoughtful thing to do! read more

Literally the worst black bean soup I have ever eaten. Probably got poured out of some pre-embargo Cuban can of beans. The words " fresh baked artisan bread." And "hand crafted soups" should never be spoken in the same sentence as panera bread. The only thing worse than being served food by some angsty high school kid who probably spits in your food for not complimenting their superior taste in underground hipster music or their goddam man bun is spending a couple hours on the toilet trying to clench on to the little bit of dignity you have left after choking down food from panera bread. Nothing against the rest of you millennials who can't go more than a day without your panera. Not happy. I placed an on line reasonable order with over an hour to prepare. I made specific requests and paid for extra ingredients on sandwiches and a salad. Not only were the extra ingredients not there, they were in some cases omitted. For example, I asked and paid for extra blueberries and strawberries. There were no strawberries, a few blueberries, and pineapple. No explanation as to why the change, nor was I given an opportunity to refuse or change the order. When I spoke with manager, the best he could do per"legal policy" was for me to request to speak to a manager for my next order (rather arrogant assumption there would be one) , tell them , again, what happened and "the least they will do us replace the problem part of the order. I paid for food that I will throw out because, not only did they omit the extra ingredients I paid for, they added ingredients that I did not want. Not happy. read more

The food was good. Large Lobster Mac'n'Cheese is overpriced for how much they actually give you though. Too little dressing on the salad. I had to go up and ask for me. Luckily they gave 2 extra containers of it, so that was nice of them. Overall I would say that it is average. If the overall prices would go down a tad it would reflect the quality that is the food rather than what it is at now. Our server was nice as well which is always a good touch. read more

First time I've used catering. It was for my daughters birthday party at her school. I ordered Monday for a pick up today. The food was all ready when I got there. I consider myself a fan of Panera but not today. Kitchen staff definitely lacking! My order was missing something, my daughter-in-laws order was downright wrong. At pick-up the order for the people next to me at the counter was wrong. The gentleman who sat down at the next table had to go back up to get his order corrected. Some of their employees are great and others need to be trained better. Almost every time I order a smoothie here, it is only 3/4 of the way filled up. Today I got a smoothie and it was only a little over half full and the employee just handed it to me like there was nothing wrong. The smoothies are very expensive as it is, let alone to not even get a full smoothie. They need to have set amounts of ingredients for each smoothie so that when they make it there isn't a shortage of it to fill the cup. Regardless, when I did complain about this to the manager (as well as them forgetting half my order), it was handled very well. I trust that they'll improve on the areas suggested. read more

I work here (not for long) and I'm treated terribly. I cover other people's shifts and then get yelled at for one mistake..come on. A manager made fun of me with customers once...(I'm mixed btw) I swear they treat me differently then they do their other employees..now don't get me wrong we all get treated rudely but like everyone else got free meals when they started and I just found out that was a thing 3 days ago (I've been here for 3months). I never was told we get a free meal for covering a shift and after 3 months of working there and constantly brining this issue up, they have yet to give me a name tag...every new employee that has started after me has a name tag and/or their name stitched into their apron. I've been told to "deep clean" many things that "don't get cleaned by other people" and was cross trained on everything so I could "go around during my shift and help everyone else" but I rarely get help. I was informed by a coworker that I'm the only one trained on register that never gets put upfront on register...(they normally put me in the back on dish)...idk about you but as the only black one there...I think Panera is pretty racist...and this isn't even everything they've done ‍. read more

If I could just not give a star I would. I ordered a soup in a bread bowl. I was served my soup in a regular bowl. I brought it back to the kitchen counter and said I ordered a soup in a bread bowl. The woman behind the counter asks if I can fill it up myself, without caring if that was a question or not, she rolls the bread bowl across the counter to me. Why am I going out to eat if I have to prepare the food I ordered myself???? I didn't argue, I took my soup and the breadbowl back to the table and attempted to transfer the soup to the breadbowl. It wasn't hollowed out or anything, I had to make a giant mess because the kitchen cant be bothered to help a CUSTOMER THAT PAID TO BE SERVED. Of course, I spilled it all over myself. All over my coat. All over my wool scarf. BIG EMBARRASSING MESS THAT RUINED MY DAY. After all that, I was not even given a damn spoon to eat with, and had to go back to the horrible people in the kitchen to asked for one. Everyone loves Panera. Carb central. Everything smells so good and is so fresh. Prices are steep, but the food is so good. The best part of Panera is they list the calories of everything right on their menu so it's easy to make smart choices. Also, all the nutritional information is on their website, so it's easy to go back to your computer, re-create your meal, and track your PointsPlus, or MapMyFitness (whatever it's called). The pace is VERY FAST in every Panera - so KNOW WHAT YOU WANT, or move out of the way, because everyone else seems to know their order. They change up menu items per season, which is nice. They are even doing a "vote for a fan made sanwhich to appear in stores" contest right now (online). Some of the prospects look and sound delicious. I wish they could all win. I use my Panera Points card. Their rewards are different - not only do you accumulate points, but you can also, possibly, get a surprise bonus/item at the register. Bright clean place with amazing staff

If you want to be surrounded by "those" people and pay for overpriced garbage you can make at home, then this place is for you!

Panera is always a favorite, but this one is better than any I've been to (and I've been to a lot!). Wireless internet, delicious broccoli and cheese soup, and free stuff with the Panera card are fantastic, but their catering sets them apart. Jess, the catering lady, is friendly and helps me with my order despite not having a menu in front of me. It also helps that I can order only an hour or two before I need it (I don't do it all the time...but sometimes lunch creeps up on me!) and not feel ashamed. The rest of the staff is great too! read more

If you are disabled, are confined to a wheelchair, this establishment is not the place to visit. The U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division has guidelines to disability rights laws and Panera Bread is violating these laws. Try opening the two double doors in a wheelchair. There are no automatic doors for the disabled. Upon asking why the staff replied they didn't know. Great food, good coffee, but if you are disabled, good luck getting into the door. read more

I would not recommend this place at all!! We had to wait 30+ minutes for our food. We were not given a buzer so my husband had to stand in line waiting... After waiting ocer 30 minutes they gave us the wrong order. They took it back to fix it and while waiting my son ate his grilled cheese. It was disgusting!!! A frozen grilled cheese warmed in the microwave wouldve been better. My husband took it back and asked for a new one. Never did anyone apologize for the wait.. For the wrong order.. For the gross looking food. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend going here. I will advise family and friends to stay away. Waste of your time and money!! read more
