I always like coming to Panera,especially when I'm in the mood for a big salad and the Chicken Fuji Apple salad is my favorite. I wish Panera would keep it on their menu all the time instead of having it as a seasonal item. My daughter had the 1/2 Tuna sandwich with a 1/2 bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup. We think they must whip the tuna instead of mixing it, because it's always light and fluffy. It's also a favorite of ours. My granddaughter had the Mac and Cheese and a Strawberry Yogurt. I'm sure if she was old enough to speak, she'd would say it was delicious. She ate 1/2 the bowl quick. This review is specifically about the Chicken Asian Crunch Salad. They should change the name to Chicken Gristle Salad. The chicken was some dark meat (maybe thighs). Most of the pieces had chewy skin on them and lots of gristle. It went straight to the garbage. It was totally inedible. The dressing is extremely tart or possible wasn't mixed thoroughly but like it's chicken ingredient was inedible. I really liked the Asian Sesame chicken salad but it was not on the menu. There were signs all around explaining lettuce shortage but all the lettuce they listed was in abundance at the grocery store so it makes you wonder. Witnessed a full out verbal argument between the manager and an employee he was firing for blatantly discriminatory reasons. I grew up in Clermont, and spent 19 years of grade school, high school, and college in this very location. Came back to this Panera tonight to study in a corner booth near the kitchen entrance. Overheard the manager telling "Austin" to "go home" out in the open in the food preparation area, which he seemed shocked at. The assistant manager joined in screaming "you're not doing anything, GTFO". He came back later, and the hilarity ensued with a full on verbal fight fully fueled in by the management's blatant temper tantrum. I have a lot of childhood memories in this place, and spent a lot of my younger years here, but I think I'll be going to the one in Winter Garden going forward when I'm in town. Went inside for a quick breakfast yesterday. Tried ordering two different things but they were already out of breakfast items at 9 AM. Staff is super friendly and apologetic about running out of things so early on in the day. I ended up ordering a chocolate croissant and tea. They have a self serve area for coffee and there's a microwave if you want to warm up your food or pastries, so I heated up my croissant. It was flakes and very flavorful. Filled with chocolate and drizzled on the outside as well. For next time, I guess I'll have to show up early early before the sun rise to get some of the hot breakfast options. I am so disappointed with this experience, I stopped in on my way to work for a bowl of Oatmeal and a cup of coffee , there was no one in line and I ordered right away , I walked to the back to wait to get my food and waited for 10 minuets , and I finally inquired when my food would be ready , the worker said they were working on it, 5 minuets later I asked what the hold up was , considering they just microwave it and put it in a to go bowl, she finally got around to making it and she put the wrong toppings on it, I then told her never mind and I went up front to get a refund , when I told the manager she rolled her eyes at me , never apologized and just gave me a refund . read more

I just love this Panera Bread restaurant. On week days, I come to get my tea and my sweet treat and on weekend I bring my family for pizza. Our fav is the yummy Chitople pizza with sauce on the side. Unfortunately today was an off day for this location. I ordered a small coffee and an egg sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun. I asked for the bun to be buttered and they said yes we can do that.. i gave a big tip which i was surprised was a new choice on the cc reader. So I was generous with the tip. There was no acknowledgement of the tip, no thank you..they were not busy today so my sandwich was ready quickly. As they gave it to me they said oh we aren't allowed to put butter on the bread you have to and gave me the little frozen blocks of butter.. he said the bread should still be warm so they may melt on it. So i took the sandwich and realized the bread Wasn't warm and the cheese was cold and not melted like the picture and the butter didn't melt. To top it off something tasted spoiled it may have been the cheese. I had sat outside so I went back in after one bite to talk to the manager and they were getting a little busy and with no acknowledgement I threw the sandwich away and left. So sorry I wish they had said we can't put butter on the sandwich and it won't be hot or melted like the picture and I would have had the cheese danish which is always delicious! This Clermont, FL location Panera should really pay closer attention to orders placed via the kiosk. Instead of standing in line, we'd thought to use the kiosk and pay, and then just wait for our order to be called. We placed our order, and when we received our bag, they left out 3 items. We ordered a Mitten Cookie 6-Pack, a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bagel, and cream cheese spread. Those items were missing from our bag, the cookies alone were $12.00! When we approached the staff to let them know some items were missing, we were treated as if we were being a bother! Some people really do need to fix their face, when dealing with the general public. We weren't asking for anything above and beyond what we ordered... we just wanted what we paid for, so how are we an inconvenience. First of all -- in general, we love Panera; love the food and coffee. We don't have one close by our home, so it's been a treat for us, while visiting family, to have a Panera right in the neighborhood; we've been getting breakfast here on an ongoing basis. (Favorite breakfast items include the Mediterranean egg-white sandwich and the steak breakfast sandwich.) What I've noticed in this particular establishment, though, is a general lack of friendliness/sense of unhappiness among the staff; it seems to be true no matter what time of day we stop in. Sometimes this manifests in surliness -- this morning, for instance, I got attitude from one of the young kitchen staff when I (reasonably) went to the counter and requested a box for leftovers. At other times it's more like a general malaise. Believe me, I understand that working a minimum-wage job with rush-hour/lunch-hour stress is not a picnic in the park, and I don't blame the employees (well...not most of them); but maybe the chain or this franchise needs to give its boots-on-the-ground people some positive affirmation and incentive to provide cheerful service. First, it's a little hard to Dis Panera Bread. There food is great, just bit pricey. The reason I write about this one, is that a group and I meet here weekly. There are about 10 of us if not more. What is the downer to this place is that there is a room for groups. In the months that I have been coming here, it is never used and yet management won't allow us to use it unless we purchase so much food with an agreement... With 10 of us and their prices, we probably spend at lease $60 if not more. As a group we talked about the room and realized that if we were a penny short that management would come down on us... We agreed at a group that we assume take up a large area in the main eatery and be a burden due to managements stance. So every week we watch people come in and walk away due to the place being packed, not to mention the group of women occupying a good hunk of a corner of eatery while there is a room for groups sits vacant... So heads up... this place would look less "packed" if management would allow the ladies to use the vacant room few hours on Monday. Oh and the other bummer... takes through forever to get your order together! Parking is limited when the place is packed and it also shares the lot with another business. read more
