I was told on Monday that I needed to arrange a meeting for 17 people for lunch that day. I called Panera at 8:00 am and I could literally hear the catering lady rolling her eyes through the phone. She lectured me on the 24 hour notice until the point that I asked if she even wanted my business. I was only ordering 10 whole sandwiches which were being cut in half, chips and a salad. When I arrived 3.5 hours later she was still annoyed that I bothered her with my order. Unfortunately, for me the group wanted Panera again the next day and I called her right away asked to increase the order for the next day but that I wanted more salad. Instead of being happy that I was brining her another $300 order she was very rude and informed me that I DON"T NEED THAT MUCH SALAD for 17 people. Im not sure why I needed to explain my situation to her but this particular group ran out of salad the previous day and requested more. She seemed very irritated that I was bothering her and she obviously didn't want my business. The customers were not aware of any of these issues and requested Panera for the 3rd day and I opted against it and ordered from South Side Deli in Carlisle. They were very happy to have my business and even called afterwards to see how everything went. read more

Normally, I do enjoy Panera's sandwiches. However, do NOT order online, especially not from this particular Panera. They claimed never to have received our order for a 13 sandwich + sides birthday lunch. We had a confirmation email about the order, yet it never arrived. Will not be trying to arrange our monthly birthday lunches at Panera again. read more

After years of hearing great things about their food, we decided to stop and try them out. Soup and sandwich were very good. My wife had a bread bowl soup, and a couple pastries. Everything was enjoyable. We even had entertainment from the two freshman college girls nearby that mostly talked about themselves, and their broad wisdom of the 2016 presidential election campaigns. Entertaining indeed! Yes we will return, but I doubt the entertainment will be as good. read more

Foods good and higher quality than many other franchised establishments, ample seating and I like the fireplace and the restaurant layout. Prices are a bit high but I think it is due to the higher quality, fresher, and healthier ingredients so I dont mind paying a little extra. read more

I usually eat in panera. Food is usually great. This location staffs has big issues. They are rude and no one cares especially for even the tips paying customer. When asked nicely they give some silly answers and don't care about the customers. I dont think i will ever stop here. Food is good that is why 2 stars. No stars for service here. read more

At the first glance, it seems like this Panera actually has some healthy options. On their menu they have "protein rich" and "plant based". Once you get the food you know it's a facade. I had a beef onion soup that was loaded with sugar, and they topped it off with a giant handful of cheese. I paid extra for avocado on my salad and I got a pitiful portion of avocado that was hard and unripe. This place is a glorified McDonald's. It's the same corporate vibe and structure under a skeleton that portrays an image of quality and healthy food. The ONE nice thing is that they have nice places to sit and study if you want that. read more

Not a good experience at this location. Stopped on a road trip. Food is ehh, but service really ruined this visit. I ordered two chicken Frontega sandwiches. I was told they were out of smoked chicken which generally goes on that sandwich. Ok so I asked for regular chicken instead. When I check my receipt the cashier charged me for extra meat on the sandwiches. I walked back up to her and explained that the receipt was incorrect and I was effectively double charged on the chicken. At first she denied the mistake but I dumbed it down even more and she figured it out. When the manager came over to fix the mistake he said, "I'll just refund you a cookie" even though we never ordered a cookie. Basically he refunded us the price of a cookie (about $2.25). However, the mistake cost us over $3. So after all that I was just pissed off and kept my mouth shut. Would not reccomend this location. read more

Everything but lettuce must be in short supply. I ordered a Fuji Apple Chicken Salad. There were 3 dried apples, 5 small pieces of chicken, a few nuts and almost no salad dressing. When I asked for more dressing, I got a 1/2 oz. container that was 1/4 full. I stop at Panera's whenever I travel and they are always excellent. But my recommendation is to avoid this one in Carlisle. read more

i ordered an online order today to pick up, i went to pick it up, my bagel was not toasted. when i went back to get it toasted i had to wait 10 minutes, and the lady at the registered handled my bagel with her bare hands after handling money. i'm grossed out and don't think i'll be coming back. which is a shame since it is right next to my work. read more

I was totally disappointed...I stopped by this location to get a salad and get back to work....I got to work and they did not put dressing on the salad nor did they give me the dressing!!!! Stopped by today on a long car trip for a snack, tea and bathroom stop. The good news is the bathroom was clean.but my whole grain bagel was soft and doughy inside. The server was insistent that it should be toasted, but that would not have helped since the interior structure was not fully developed. Hot tea was okay as I made it myself. read more

I didn't even get a chance to eat my meal. The customer service was so lousy. I felt like a bother to them to even place my order. No smiles no thank you nothing. When my items were ready my buzzer went off. I go to the counter a drink was on the counter the worker saw me waiting by the counter and basically ignored me. My item did not have a receipt so no way to confirm it was mine. I proceeded to another area to pick up my salad. Again no customer service. When I went to pick up my salad I noticed it had dressing all over it. I said to him I asked for no cheese and no dressing. He gave me a blank stare and responded " all our salads come with dressing. I gave him a moment to offer me a new salad as requested. That was not going to happen. I told him he could keep the salad and this would be the last time I would eat there. I also told the girl at the register. The employees seem to be poorly trained and very impersonal robots. This was my first and last time at Panara Bread. read more
