Higher end prices with mediocre food! The wrap and bacon were phenomenal!! The egg was less than incredible and they undersauced the wrap! I also didn't care for the arugula steaks in my wrap. The location is clean but needs seat repairs from wear and tear. The coffee is delicious and hot! They have half and half, almond milk, and 2% with a variety of sugars and a sprinkling of cinnamon! Large variety of teas as well. Hot or cold coffee and Pepsi fountain machine. They also have energy teas/lemonades! The ambience is relaxing and the music is good. Made a kinda big order online here. Myself I got some tomato soup and the BBQ chicken sandwich. My hubby got a Turkey Avocado BLT sandwich and creamy cheddar and broccoli soup. My son got Mac n cheese and flat bread pepperoni. We did curbside pick up. We get there and no customers at all in this place. I didn't even see workers at first. They bring out the order and it has been packed beautifully. We get home and they are missing my hubbies order. I call them and I guess I forgot to order the soup but they asked if I could go back up there and get. Well of course I am my hubbies hungry too lol Jason is who I talked to and he was extremely nice and very polite. He says since the forgot the sandwich they will throw in the soup for my inconvenience. Which is awesome. I get home and now everyone has their food. Soup was good both mine and his. We both HATED the sandwich. He said his looked more like a salad on his sandwich and no avocado. The meat is minimal but the bread was good. My son LOVED his pizza but said his Mac n cheese was "nasty". So only half of our order was eaten. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because Jason was so nice. But the cooks really need to give more care. My husband was a Las Vegas chef for 25 yrs and he said he would never let food like this leave his kitchen. read more

First time eating here. The food was ok , I tried the Thai chicken soup it was good and the broccoli cheese soup was perfect I wasn't too pleased with the bistro onion soup I'm not a fan. I also tried to Baja chicken bowl and the tuna salad sandwich. I don't like cilantro and the chicken had a funny taste to it and I didn't care for the Black Pepper Focaccia. Our group has been meeting here every month (and for awhile several times a month) for the past six years. The past year or two, the quality has dropped significantly. The restaurant isn't clean, and there's mildew/mold growing on the walls and ceiling tiles. The door to the men's room can't be closed either, which can cause unpleasant odors for anyone sitting in that area. The air conditioning only works on one side of the building, and the vents on the broken side occasionally drip water onto the tables when it tries to work. There is as much as a 10 degree temperature difference on the broken side, making it miserably hot over there much of the time. Our group has always had a standard policy that all members _must_ purchase food and a drink from Panera to be welcome in the group and have actually ejected members in the past who were unwilling to provide their patronage to our host. Because we tend to stay for about 4 hours each time, most people in our group would buy multiple items over the course of the day. We've always been very respectful of other customers and made sure that there were plenty of tables available for others to use, although the restaurant has never not had at least 5 or 6 open tables at all times in all the years we've been going there, and on multiple occasions, we've been the only customers in the restaurant (not counting ToGo orders) for the entire time we were there. In the past, managers have always been friendly and welcoming and have even asked us to come more often, because, in one manager's words, "It's always busier when you're here, and it's so nice to have happy, friendly customers. Everyone here gets excited when we see you drive up, because we know it's going to be a good day." We always had good relationships with the employees, and I've personally made friendships that have lasted even after those employees left Panera for other things. Unfortunately, the new/current manager has always been surly and unwelcoming towards us and seemed to resent us even being there. This manager is the only employee there whose name I did not learn in the six years we've been going, since she refused to tell me the first time we met when I introduced myself. Unfortunately, our group will not be returning after six years of loyal patronage. We had already discussed the potential of moving to a new location because of the deterioration of the building, but the vast majority of the group was against the move. However, our decision was made for us this month when the new manager told us that we were no longer welcome to use the main sitting area for our group and could only sit in the hot, gross area or go elsewhere. After giving it much thought and discussion, we will not be returning. I have also personally canceled my MyPanera+ subscription, as have two other members of our group. read more

Horrible service. Ordered online. Supposed to be ready for pickup at 3:35. I tried to go through drive Thru. Sat at speaker 10-15 minutes after they said "give us a few minutes". They never came back. All the cars ahead still waiting. So I parked and went inside. NO employees. Customers, but no employees. I yelled HELLO??? HELLO?? Very loudly. No response. So I waited another 10 minutes and finally a RUDE employee came out and asked "what'd ya want?" It was 4:00 and she managed to find my stone cold food. The place is usually hit or miss for me when it comes to the quality of the food and it's extremely overpriced but the service is never a problem and the soups are never disappointing. I had only been to Panera Bread once before (and for a reason) but decided to tag along with my family for lunch today and had the same meh feeling as the first time I went. I ordered the chicken tortellini and it just was not that great; it tasted as if it had just been microwaved. It wasn't very clean on the inside, especially the outside as it looked like someone had started cleaning but never finished. There is plenty of parking and the staff was nice, but I still don't understand the hype people around here give this place. read more

On the whole, I love Panera. They have one of my favorite menus for any fast casual chain. This location has consistently the worst customer service of just about any place in Beaumont. I don't think I've ever been here and had a seamless experience. Today I did a rapid pick up order. I was actually running behind and worried they'd think it was rude that I'd let my order sit for a while, but it wasn't on the shelf when I arrived. I was informed they were out of the soup I ordered and asked to pick another. Interaction as follows. Me: I'll take the chowder. Employee1: We don't have that. Employee2: *Names soups, one of which is chowder.* Me: You said you didn't have the chowder. Employee1: Oh, I thought you meant the clam chowder and we only have corn chowder. Me: Right, I want the one you have... I get my order, thank them graciously, look in the bag and see the bagel I ordered isn't in there. Me: Ma'am, I also had a bagel. Employee1: Oh, it was the sprouted grain flat? We don't have that right now. Would you like the sprouted grain roll instead? Me: No... Employee2 to Employee1: Go check the front. Literally, they didn't look in their bakery area and were just going to not give me an item that they had available a few steps away. Sad to say, because we dine regularly at Paneras in Katy and Houston, but this Beaumont location was deplorable. First of all, it was not clean - even had to pick a hair off a table after it was wiped down. We ordered bowls of broccoli cheddar, french onion soup as and turkey chili. Thirty dollars was a lot for that, but after sitting down then changing tables we were told that they didn't have the ingredients to make the broccoli cheddar. Then even though the restaurant was almost empty, it took forty minutes to get the food. And guess what? The food was COLD! We just got up and left, NEVER to return. read more

Good flavors, kinda hectic, but it's new... Has tons of seating though. I love the idea of it but feel like I need to study the menu more online before going again... A bit like Jason's Deli but the portions do seem smaller for the money but you never have to worry about tipping here... I'm assuming that means they pay their people ok. I think the reason this place has several bad reviews is because people didn't get what they expected. My wife and I came in for breakfast without any expectations. The best way to describe this place is a coffee shop and deli in one. It has many healthy options to eat as well as sweet pastries. I had the Avocado, Spinach, and Egg White sandwich. It was very good and very filling. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. They have free wifi and it is larger in the inside than it looks from the outside. Overall I enjoyed the meal and will come back again. When you visit don't expect a McAlister's because it is not a deli. read more

Panera has a great atmosphere with ample seating for you and your friends. Restaurant was clean and looked just as new as when it opened a year ago. Staff was friendly and brought food out quickly! I had half of a ham & swiss sandwich with a cup of the creamy tomato soup. My friends ordered one of the quinoa bowls with chicken, baked potato soup, and another sandwich of some type. My favorite item of mine was the creamy tomato soup - WOW! It was incredibly good! They put croutons on top and they naturally soften inside the soup which is just heavenly! Next time I may just order that by itself or with a grilled cheese. My friends also enjoyed their meals and had enough to take home in a to-go box. They also had many baked good & cookies on display, but we were being "good" and didn't purchase any. Next time I will try the sweets! I knew this place seemed peculiar from stepping in the main doors with messy finger prints. Ordered Frontega on panini (ran out of sauce) - got a muffin instead. Got coffee (4 of 5 coffee pots were badly dented), I asked the Cashier what happened, she didn't know. (No napkins @ coffee bar, bar was dirty so I cleaned it). Coffee wasn't very hot-that & muffin tasted unusual - not like the Panera tasty products - didn't consume neither. It was peculiar when I saw no customers - that, plus my experience I have never had in the years I have been frequenting Panera. Specifically, Gnats on my salad Creamer for the coffee was curdled Bread with it should be warmed , but cold and hard. Nothing in the bakery case. The other person had to get up and ask for his cinnamon roll that never came.....not warmed. Review Date 2/13/2020 So as I sit in the parking lot of Panera to write this review. Yes, the service was that bad. I stood in line for a while (5 people in line, 1 cashier) the manager comes over to help. While waiting I watch the cashier, who isn't very pleasant pick up a cookie using the paper as he should then continue to talk to the manager while he pressed buttons on his register and picked up things with the hand he's holding the cookie with. Anyway, I finally get up from and I say can I get a bagel pack. He ask me which ones would I like. So they only have 4 different types so I said just give me what you have. He said you have to pick them individually. I said you barely have 13 I'll take whatever over there. He said again you have to pick them out. I said let's walk over here and you can write them down. He didn't like that. With an attitude he went over and started writing. Another lady walks over and grabs some of the bagels I was purchasing. I said hey you were suppose to be getting those for me. He said she purchased them first. The manager backed him. They are always out of bagels for some reason. My problems are as follow: You guys have limited bagels in the evening, if you sold the bagel before mine she would have to come and verify the bagel was there. At that point he should have said I have it sold and not lie to me. The customer service here is why I will never visit this location and probably never Panera again. I don't blame the employee I blame management Before I posted this I walked in to talk to the manager who was very nice and told him why I had a problem with my service. I am a first timer. I think Panera Bread was just okay. Nothing exciting. I arrived with a party of 8 including 2 kids. Our bill was about $75 which I think is over priced. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was also nice. I chose the you pick two. I got a chicken soup and a Roasted Turkey Cranberry Flatbread with a side of Baked chips and a medium coffee. I gave my chicken soup to my son and The Turkey Cranberry Flatbread was delicious. It was a roasted turkey raised without antibiotics, cranberry mostarda and baby spinach with garlic and herb cream cheese bread on whole grain flatbread. You can totally taste the cranberry. My son ordered a bagel and cream cheese. The cream cheese cost more than the bagel itself. Overall, I thought it was just okay. I don't see myself coming back in the near future. When I went there a few weeks back, I was extremely disappointed with their menu choices, the description of the items, and portions. I ordered a sandwich for 9 bucks and it was about 5 inches long, 2 inches deep, and 3/4 of an inch tall. There was zero description on the menu besides the name. Both, my girlfriend and I, were surprised to find horseradish on both of our sandwiches. We would not have ordered what we had if we had known. As for sides... baguette, warm dinner roll, or an apple(I think?) and the baguette was rock solid hard and so was my ICE COLD dinner roll. But yea... never again with me either.
