It is extra disappointing to go there seeing all their awards and ratings to be met with very poor service, unwarranted delayed steps between apps, mains, dessert, check! The broth of the pho had some kind of rancid /old food taste like you get when the wok/pot has not been washed properly after multiple uses. The fried rice and pad Thai lacked flavor and had an odd taste. The apps were alright. The banh mi was passable but got us feeling bloated within couple bites. Cost of everything was quite low, so may that is a plus for some. Further, when I tried sharing the feedback respectfully - after the waiter wondered why we had barely eaten and refused to go boxes- I was told to write this review online - which itself was weird. It's like the staff want to sabotage the customer experience or highlight the experience for the owner to take note. My best guess is the owner doesn't treat/pay his staff well and they are likely very checked out and doing the bare minimum or below it. The place was a mess also behind the counter, on the way to the restroom etc. with no deliberate storage of the overflow supplies. Sorry for the candor and the harshness- hoping the management takes a serious look and rethinks their work, or reconsider another line of business.

She came out with water as soon as I sat down and didn't stop. When the glass was empty, she was there. The restaurant is decorated and looks great. The menu is expansive with lots of vegetarian options. I don't see anything here being bad with this level of service. Wholeheartedly recommend

The options are all your typical poke ones, although they also have mango which I haven't seen as often in the area. The bowls were a good size with lots of protein and toppings. I ordered a salad with salmon (and added extra). I was excited to see that mango and crushed macadamia nuts were topping options (which are rare) and that I could add as many toppings as I wanted for no extra charge. I was also excited to be able to add a 12oz miso soup for $1. My husband ordered a rice bowl with salmon, yellowtail, and ahi. We both agreed that the miso soup was the most flavorful we've ever had and that the poke was the best we've had since our honeymoon in Hawaii (and we travel a lot and often get poke). However, the portion sizes (both fish and bowl as a whole) were much smaller than other decent poke places for the same price. I think we'll come here sometimes since the quality is so high, but it's probably not always worth driving the extra distance due to small portions. We were both hungry after finishing. The only additional toppings I'd love to see are pickled daikon and eel sauce like at Poki DC.

The sandwich was at least overflowing and the bread tasty, sort of a cheddar jalapeño bread but..something was definitely missing in the chicken. For the price of a PB&J, you could buy a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter, and a jar of jelly and make 10 of them. I think they tried to price kids items like adult meals. It was crowded at lunch time, some inside seating, looked like more outside. Parking is in a lot nearby but can fill up. Plenty of drinks and such. Kind of an ordinary deli with comparatively good prices for adult meals when held up against other places in the area.

Come on, that's an instant five stars in my book. We ended up talking wine with him for a good part of the afternoon. He had us sample a few different pours before we landed on a Nebbiolo we loved. Later, after another conversation about wine, he brought over a taste of a white we'd never even heard of because he thought we'd enjoy trying it. It never felt like an upsell. It just felt like talking with someone who genuinely enjoys wine and likes sharing it with people. Relaxing patio, great food, excellent cocktails, and genuinely memorable service. Let me start off with the positives, because I really don't like leaving bad reviews, and if you…read morekeep this in mind, you might actually enjoy some great food. The positive is that the food was fantastic. I ordered the Lamb Massaman, and my wife got a yellow curry seafood dish. Both were delicious and more than enough food for each of us, but it was so good we managed to finish it all. We're foodies, and honestly, we'd probably order takeout from here in a heartbeat. For takeout alone, this would be an easy 5-star review, no question. Now, onto the bad. I've been to countless restaurants, both great and terrible, and this was the first time I genuinely felt like walking out. My wife felt bad, but I actually set a three-minute timer, and the server barely beat it. And by that, I mean bringing our drinks (our very first order) after a 45-minute wait. When we first sat down, the server came by within three minutes to take our order, but I asked for a few more minutes. Ten minutes later, we put in the drink order. My wife and I couldn't agree on appetizers, so we asked for a little more time before ordering the entrées. Fast-forward 45 minutes, and we were still sitting there waiting on our drinks, while the table next to us arrived, got their drinks, and even received food all within 30 minutes. It felt like our server was far more focused on bussing and resetting tables to turn covers than actually taking care of the guests already seated. I told my wife we should just get up and go somewhere else; after all, date nights are rare for us, and we deserved a better experience. To make matters worse, when the drinks finally arrived, they were just okay; they tasted watered down and didn't impress me at all. Unless I see consistently great reviews down the line, I'm never setting foot in here again. The atmosphere didn't help, either. It was loud, with the background music turned down so low that you could clearly hear everyone around you shouting and laughing. The place would definitely benefit from turning the music up a bit to drown out the noise. Maybe my expectations were high, but at $28 to $30 per entrée and $16+ per drink, our bill came out to $110 before tip for two plates and two drinks. For that price, it was hands down the worst dining experience I've had anywhere.
