Food is mediocre (neither bad or good). Expensive for portion size. Cleanliness and overall condition of this restaurant is not good. Employees are kind--that's about the best thing to report.

So for me when I read a review what I really want to know is if the person writing the review will actually go back and do business at this particular location again. Really that's all that matters right? It's either yes I can't wait to come back or no this place is not for me so what's my answer? The answer is ABSOLUTELY YES!! I purchased a chicken sandwich and a small chicken salad, it was very very good and conveniently located right next to the Hampton Inn I was staying at. I've never really eaten at Panera bread and I have to tell you I really liked it and I can't wait to go back.

My order was a fiesta chicken sandwich. I ordered at 11:26am didn't drive off until 11:42 with not my order. Almost a 20 min wait to get whatever they gave me. To then call and get a refund for my sandwich. What a terrible experience. I will never go there again. Like wow. I usually will give ppl the benefit of the doubt but there were 5 workers barely anyone inside and I was the only car. This location needs so much training it's sad.

Arrived for dinner, informed closing in 10 minutes and my order had to be "to go".

Stepping in, my boyfriend & I were greeted with a smile from the employees. They were kind, welcoming, & joyful. We ordered the beef pad see ewe & green curry with chicken. The pad see ewe was absolutely delicious. So flavorful, so tasty, & 100% would order again. Honestly one of the best pad see ewes I've ever had. The green curry was good as well! It was creamy, delightful, & perfect with the side of rice. The veggies along with the chicken were straight yummy. 100% recommend Bee House to anyone & everyone looking for authentic, delicious food.

Food: AMAZING Service: GREAT…read moreAmbiance: COMFORTABLE, SMALLish but cozy. I had the Pad Thai, and my wife had the Pad Basil with chicken. Both were fantastic. Service is great and this place is immaculate. Not a spec of dirt or grime anywhere, not even on the windowsills or bathroom. There is countertop, sushi style spectator seating right near the kitchen, about 6 to 8 seats, or you can catch a high top or regular table nearby. Looks like there's about eight tables total. Medium spicy here on my Pad Thai is probably leaning more towards very spicy. I would opt for mild and then use the hot condiments they provide at the table. Tons of jumbo sized perfectly cooked shrimp and fresh vegetables. I asked for extra sauce because some places go light and it makes it dry. Noodles were cooked to perfection. My wife's chicken was perfectly seasoned, very savory with a nice basil flavor. Sauce was delicious and the vegetables were cooked perfect. This place was so great we are going to plan a trip back to the area as we were traveling from out of state on a whim getaway, and we will definitely be returning to try something else on the menu. Do not miss this place if you're nearby.

The restaurant is located right next to the train station, and they had a dedicated carpark, but it also seemed like street parking was readily available nearby as well. The outdoor dining area was pleasant and had heaters available. Once we arrived, we were seated promptly and brought menus and water. They also kindly brought water for our dog, even without us asking them for it. We shared two appetizers, including the ceviche and tostada. Both were excellent, fresh and full of flavor. For mains, I got the misoyaki butterfish, while my husband had the bouillabaisse. I was jealous that he decided to order this because I don't like ordering the same main as someone else I'm dining with, but the jealousy dissipated once I got the butterfish. It was coated in a sweet teriyaki sauce which it paired wonderfully with, and the texture was pleasant and soft. It was served atop a bed of wild rice and greens. The bouillabaisse was also superb. It's hard to imagine that their other main dishes are better than these two, though I'm sure they're also great. We couldn't go past the lime and coconut creme brulee for dessert. Both of us couldn't get enough of this. Our waitress was very nice and efficient. We had everything we needed and never needed to flag her down for anything. Someone else, perhaps the owner, came out and asked us how our meal was while we were eating which was a nice touch. I'd recommend this as a must-visit if you're in the Pismo Beach area.

The grilled salmon was perfectly cooked and went so well with the creamy mashed potatoes. As soon as I walked in, I was mesmerized by the refrigerator row of wine/champaign bottles. The bar area is well decorated with a dark background and small lights to emulate a dark starry night. Their service was not good in our L.A.-opinionated minds. Yes, we were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. We waited maybe 20 minutes before someone eventually came to take our order. Mind you, the whole time we were ready to order, the waitress who seated us was walking back and forth, setting up tables around us. She clearly saw that we were ready to order but didn't even offer to take our orders or get another staff who could. This is a place to come to if you are NOT in a hurry and are here to simply chill and take life SLOCAL style. The food here seems like a fusion between American and Mediterranean style. 1. Octopus Appetizer (4.5/5) Large octopus tentacles served with a combination of vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, roasted peppers) toasted with garlic and olive oil. The vegetables and octopus were all cooked very well. The octopus was fresh and melts in your mouth. 2. Grilled Asparagus (2.5/5) Large asparagus that's seasoned lightly, but it was not cooked correctly. It had a very stringy-fibery texture. 3. Philly cheesesteak (2/5) The hoagie bread was grocery store quality at best. We were sad that it wasn't even toasted or warmed up, so ended up ditching the bread/bun and just ate the inside. The cheese was at least nicely melted. The onion and bell peppers were fresh, but the steak was "meh." Definitely not quality beef. The beef itself was also not seasoned enough, so was bland and dry. 4. Onion rings (5/5) Fried to perfection. Loved that the onions were fresh and it was easy to pull apart with each bite. The aioli sauce that its served with is plain and bland though. 5. Crab cake (4/5): Crabby patty anyone? All I tasted was fried Panko batter. Wish the patty itself had more flavor and spice. The garlic aioli sauce that came with it though was good. 6. Dr. Marquis Salad (4/5): Fresh spring mix lettuce topped with ground beef and crispy bacon, tomato, sliced avocado and tossed with their house-made olive oil, salt and pepper dressing. Overall, it was a hearty salad with plentiful flavor. It was just a bit weird to have ground beef in salad, but I guess that's what makes this salad dish unique

We ordered the 'Cuban Sandwich' (hot pulled pork, ham, provolone, mustard, mayo, and pickles on a perfectly toasted, soft French roll) and the 'Turkey Sandwich' (cold).
